Chapter 4: The Emergence of the Hydra
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the world of the future that Stark Industries has built! Do you believe it, a wave of new technology is sweeping in, and maybe in a few years, cars will no longer have to touch the ground! ”
Taking the microphone and taking out a handkerchief to wipe his lips, Iron Man's dad began his own performance.
He seemed to enjoy staring at the bottom of the stage, touting his company's innovations as he beckoned the pretty lady to remove the four wheels of the red car.
Howard Stark, standing on the stage, is not like a scientist, but more like a magician who knows how to act.
Know what kind of means to use to catch the audience's attention.
"Stark's latest anti-gravity technology, all of this will be possible!"
Howard smiled and powered the instrument.
The car, with its wheels removed, floated slowly.
This magical scene made the audience take their breath away.
The corners of Luke's mouth twitched, he had little interest in Howard Stark's gadgets.
Although the other party can be regarded as one of the smartest geniuses in the world at the moment, he is the same as Tony Stark, the iron man who has not yet matured.
They all have one trait in common, or a character flaw that runs in a family –
That's not easy to deal with!
Perhaps, this can be attributed to the common problem among geniuses!
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Luke sneaks out of the crowd and gets rid of the needless entanglement of the young girls.
The youthful and lively gentle country is still left to Bucky, who is about to rush to England to serve the motherland, to enjoy.
Turning his head inadvertently, Luke saw Rogers' thin back.
He left the crowd gathered on the stage and walked towards the recruiting station not far away.
Luke took a deep breath and thought to himself that was the beginning of Captain America.
He put his hands in his pockets, thinking about what he should do.
Although, it is said that development is the right way.
But who knows when the gold finger will arrive.
Moreover, when I ran to the Marvel set, I wanted to live a peaceful life for ordinary people, which seemed to be a bit of a waste of crossing places.
As he pondered, Luke saw another old man.
He has gray hair, somewhat bald, and glasses on the bridge of his nose.
Abraham Erskine!
Luke recognized the other.
The developer of the Super Soldier Serum, the German scientist who single-handedly created the Red Skull, the leader of the Hydra, slowly walked into the recruiting station.
"Hmmm! There seem to be stalkers! ”
Luke, who was about to follow, suddenly turned solemn.
He saw behind Abraham Erskine several men in black with round hats following him.
Their waists bulged, and they looked nervous, looking left and right.
It doesn't look like an ordinary tourist, and the identity of the accompanying bodyguard is much worse.
"Hydra?"
A thought crossed Luke's mind.
Dr. Erskine, as the developer of the Super Soldier Serum, must be a thorn in the eye and a thorn in the flesh of the Hydra.
The Red Skull will do whatever it takes to get rid of this threat!
Once the Allies get the Super Soldier Serum and create a large number of Super Soldiers, there is no suspense about winning or losing this war.
In a flash of thought, Luke walked into the recruiting station as well.
"Steve......"
Bucky snaps back from Howard Stark's performance and turns his head to look at his sullen friend, only to find that the other person is long gone.
"Luke ......"
He looked at Luke again, but he didn't expect to see anyone.
"What's going on! Where did they all go! ”
Bucky muttered, and was dragged by the rest of his female companions to the other exhibits.
……
……
"The battlefield is not for you."
At the recruiting station, Rogers was once again rejected.
The officer who recruited the soldier saw his thin figure and showed his attitude without thinking about it, and did not even look at the completed information form.
Despite Rogers' arguments, his words were earnest.
But no matter what he said, the officer just shook his head.
In his opinion, sending this thin little man into battle was no different from murder.
"You still have a lot to do, you don't have to be in the army. We are in dire need of labor, you can go to the factory to make weapons for the front, or you can find another job! ”
The officer said impatiently.
He pushed Rogers' draft form back, a grim expression of "no negotiation".
"War is not a fight! You're on the battlefield and you're only dragging down the others! Rather than this, it is better to stay honestly in the rear of the homeland! ”
"Be content, boy! Don't risk your life and shuttle through the rain of bullets, this is a good thing that many people can't think of! ”
Looking at the thin little man in front of him, the recruiting officer said.
He couldn't understand why the other party had to join the army, wasn't it good to stay on the mainland?
There is no danger to life, let alone the cruelty of war.
No matter how precious the medal symbolizing honor is, can it be important to live?
Now who does not know, the Allies and the Axis are inextricably fought.
Each battlefield is like a meat grinder, constantly devouring the flesh and blood of both sides.
The corpses filled in the trenches, I'm afraid only God knows the exact number!
"Sir! I want to serve my country! I want to do something! I'm sure there's something I can do......"
The recruiting officer avoided Rogers' determined gaze and shook his head again.
Everything had to be done according to the rules, and he could not recruit a single unqualified soldier.
The two of them gradually raised their voices, attracting the attention of Abraham Erskine.
He looked at Rogers, who looked depressed, as if he had thought of something.
"It's exactly the same as the trajectory of history......"
Luke on the side watched quietly, the corners of his mouth slightly raised.
But soon he retracted his smile, for behind Abraham Erskine, the men in black who were following him were approaching.
Their eyes were cold, their faces were murderous, and their right hands slowly stretched out to the bulging position around their waists.
Almost instantly!
The man in black lifted the corner of his clothes!
Pull out the hidden pistol!
The icy muzzle of the gun was aimed at Abraham Erskine.
It seems that the trigger is going to be pulled in the next second.
Boom!
A gunshot rang out!
The crowd at the recruiting station immediately fell into a panic, and the panicked screams were like steam gushing from a locomotive.
Those recruits who were wearing military uniforms and had not yet enlisted in the army were suddenly like ants on a hot pot, running around without a clue.
They had never been on the battlefield, let alone formal training, and had no idea what to do.
The officer in charge of the guard lay in a pool of blood, wearing a white round hat with a bullet hole on his head.
Blood gushed from the back of his head, and with that twisted face, it was terrifying.
"Let's go!"
Luke, who was hiding on the sidelines, pulled Dr. Erskine up from the ground, turned and walked into the hallway cubicle.
Fierce gunfire was heard from behind, and bullets hit the walls, splattering large puffs of dust.
Luke glanced at Rogers, who was hiding behind the cabinet with his head in his hands, and couldn't help but have a strange idea.
If the future Captain America hangs up, then how will things develop next?
Will a new hero appear?
Or did the Third Reich win the war and the Red Skull conquer the world?
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Luke's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a clear gunshot.
He looked at a nervous Dr. Erskine and whispered, "You're hiding here!" Don't move around! ”
Outside the cubicle, the sound of "clicking" footsteps gradually approached.
The curtain was closed, and a figure with a gun appeared due to the reflection of the lights.
Luke touched the Colt M1911 behind his waist, took a deep breath, and rushed out of the compartment in the corridor!
