219 Tony's Iron Suit
"Jarvis, it looks like we need to work on this mech a little further, help me note the icing problem, and the shock absorption needs to be optimized."
Just now, Tony piloted his suit for a test flight, and almost landed on the ground, which scared him a lot.
"As you wish, sir."
Jarvis's electronic voice reached Tony's ears.
"Go back, or Pebo will talk to me again."
Tony said this, but his mind was thinking about how he had been found out by the Ten Commandments.
While his whereabouts will always be watched, it is not difficult to understand that he will travel to Afghanistan to be known.
But those with a clear purpose shouldn't know his way back.
Tony flew all the way back to his lab, still thinking about it over and over again.
Of course, this kind of problem doesn't bother him for long, and his attention will be diverted elsewhere.
For example, continuing to make steel suits, or a certain Manli girl that I saw at a glance.
With this in mind, Tony returned to his research room, and after letting the robotic arm help him remove his suit, Tony walked to the table with a monolithic eye.
He took a bite of a hamburger that had been cooled and returned to his counter.
"Maybe this place would be better off that way."
Tony clicked casually on the 3D imaging console.
"Knock knock~"
"Who's out there? Jarvis? ”
Tony munched on a burger and asked his smart butler vaguely.
If you are an acquaintance, you don't need to knock so hard.
"Sorry sir, the information of the people outside the door is confidential."
Jarvis doesn't actively attack information security elsewhere, and these things will only be done with Tony's personal authorization.
"Crack the code, I want to know."
Tony stood in front of the arm and strapped the metal glove to his hand.
Tony, who had just escaped not long ago, didn't feel much security.
"Sir, the man outside the door is Philip S. J. Coulson, who served in the Army Rangers ......"
"Tony, do you know what a mess you just made!"
Colonel Rhodes opened the door and entered.
If Tony's previous test flight hadn't been arranged by S.H.I.E.L.D., he might have been shot down as a UFO.
James Rhodes is not in Tony's defenses, he is Tony's trusted friend.
If it weren't for Coulson's insistence on a polite visit, they would have been in the first place.
"Jarvis, we'll talk about that later."
Tony turned to meet his friend, whom he trusted with Rod.
When Tony walked in front of Rod, Coulson took the initiative to say hello.
"Mr. Stark, I'm Phil Coulson from the Homeland Strategic Defense Attack and Logistics Agency. This time I'm here to investigate the flying object you just flew. ”
Coulson said with his usual smile.
"Wait, what's your name?"
Tony vaguely remembered that Jarvis was talking about Philip Brown. J. Coulson.
"My name is Phil Coulson, Mr. Stark."
Coulson was just Tony's contempt for the authorities, and this kind of inability to remember names is normal for a playboy.
"Okay Coulson, you're here to investigate something?"
Tony coped quietly.
Just as he was about to take off the steel gloves, he stopped what he was doing, turned around and walked to the side of the sofa, and sat down on it.
Prevention became Tony's knee-jerk at this time, and keeping a distance was good for both.
Originally, Tony was quite a city, and now he has learned to disguise after experiencing danger.
Some people say that interest is the best teacher, but in fact, survival is a better teacher than interest.
Now Tony is just pretending that nothing is happening, and he can't see anything without looking closely.
Coulson, in particular, only knew Tony in the report, and the actual meeting was the first time.
Before Coulson could speak, Tony spoke.
"But the name of your security bureau is too long, I can't remember."
Tony, of course, knew the name, and he said that when Jarvis waited for more information, Coulson's resume appeared on his glasses.
This level of intelligence is something Jarvis already has.
The document also mentions that his dear Aunt Peggy Carter is one of the founders of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Instead of looking directly at Coulson, Tony turned his head and quickly scanned the information on his glasses.
"We're just asking about the previous aircraft, so you don't have to be nervous."
Coulson sensed that Tony's behavior was a little strange, only that he was nervous.
"Tony, if it weren't for them, the Air Force would have opened fire!"
Rod roared with anger, in the care of his friend, Rod was rarely angry.
"I know Rod, I'll let Jarvis know when I take off next time."
Tony took his eyes off the open space and looked at Rhodes seriously.
He's read the general news, and now there's no need to shy away from Coulson and Rod.
"You'd better not lie to me."
Rhodes pulled a bottle of gin straight out of the cupboard and poured it into the glass.
"So~Mr. Coulson, is there anything else you'd like to know?"
Tony lowered his head and looked up at Coulson.
This position gave him a bit of a sense of pressure.
"Mr. Stark, not for the time being."
Coulson understood what Tony meant by the send-off, and now was not the time for him to make any further contact with Tony.
Coulson turned and left Tony's house, taking his men with him.
"So Rod, is there anything else you have to do?"
Tony walked over to the counter and removed his steel gloves, the reflective pile on his chest still glowing.
"I can't even drink a glass of wine?"
Rod took the wine in his hand and said with some surprise.
"When I'm done, you just want to go to the cruise ship and have a party."
Tony didn't show any affection at all.
"Okay, as long as you remember this, you must tell us in advance next time."
Rhodes drank the wine from the glass in one gulp and left the room directly.
"That sip of yours has at least drunk a week's worth of your salary."
Tony said this before closing the door.
The Air Force is a first-class person in this country, and the salary is very high.
It's much better than the bitter army.
If the Air Force wants to buy Jericho missiles, it doesn't need Tony to show it himself.
"Jarvis, follow the investigation of the Land Bureau to see if the accident I encountered had anything to do with them."
Tony arranges the task.
Of course, Jarvis was even able to gather all the information about Tony, but now Jarvis couldn't pick exactly what he needed from all the information.
Being able to do what Tony tells me to have a little bit of autonomy is the limit for now.
