The full name of the book is "The Great Yin and Yang Heavenly Master's Deduction of Secret Techniques", referred to as "The Secret Record of the Heavenly Master".

The third part is called the Great Yin-Yang Technique, which records the fundamentals, basic Dao methods, and advanced Dao methods practiced by the Heavenly Masters of the past dynasties, including the top Dao Methods.

The avenue begins with yin and yang, so it is named after the great yin and yang technique.
