November Wrap-up
At the end of November, this month's update is still pulling the crotch (it seems that it didn't get up), with a total of nearly 200,000 words updated, and an average of 6,600 per day...... This is slightly higher than the previous month.
In terms of the plot, three copies were written, corresponding to three worlds, the earth line opened the national martial arts, and the chapters at the end of the month shook out the setting of the spiritual world, and by the way, I glimpsed the traces of the imperial people from afar, and reactivated the item of prayer candles.
At the end of last month, I said that this month I would start to solve the problem of "breaking one and throwing one", and now looking back, I basically achieved this goal, in fact, so to speak, most of the plot throughout November was to serve this core purpose.
Through the dungeon, the time of the second, third, and fourth worlds is stopped, and it is no longer jumping, just like slowly braking three cars parallel to each other...... In order to achieve this goal, the coherence of reading is sacrificed, but only in this way can there be a landing point in the follow-up plot, the stability of the front, and the spare energy to open a new one.
And at the cost, it is the feeling of reading fragmentation caused by continuous map changes.
Moreover, due to the short length of the dungeons and the different styles of each other, this sense of separation is amplified, specifically on the three dungeons, the plot structure of the Moon Sea Continent is the most complete, but several mistakes have been made.
The first is the decline in the sense of substitution caused by changing the identity of "mountains and seas". The "resurrection" ability was originally set for two purposes, one might be needed for the subsequent empire line, and the other was to solve the jerky problem of cutting into the new world...... Try a new way to cut in, and looking back now, some of the gains outweigh the losses.
Second, the plot is not tightened. The sinking effect is not obvious enough in the front, and it looks loose, especially the celebration plot gives people the feeling of deviating from the main line...... But in fact, the purpose of writing the plot of the celebration is to depict the world of the Moon Clan as much as possible in ten chapters.
To stop the world, it is not just a matter of simply stopping and accelerating, but to write clearly the forms of different worlds, improve recognition, and make people have a more definite prototype of the sandbox in their minds, and then focus on a few characters...... To connect with the main character, and all this to be done in ten chapters, you need an event to bring ...... When I wrote it, I referred to the writing method of farming, and I wanted to highlight the coolness, but the grafting of different themes seemed inappropriate, and this problem was committed for the second time, so we should pay attention to it.
Third, it's still the old problem of changing the map, the unfamiliarity of the environment after entering the Moon Sea Continent, and the only memory point, Moon Tree, didn't pull up the sense of expectation, resulting in a decline in experience.
Referring to the above questions, I tried to make changes to the Southern Continent copy...... Originally, Ning Li's plot was arranged for Hongchen's experience, which was a temporary change, and the problem was that some of the settings seemed a little stiff, such as Lin Tuo's identity as a psychological teacher, such as Huaxi's schooling...... Oh, by the way, the plot of the meteor shower was originally this piece, but because of the changes, it was put later.
But the better thing about this section is that it learns a lesson.
By bringing Huaxi and Hathaway into the dungeon, the sense of fragmentation of changing maps is reduced, and the connection with the earth is strengthened through the update of the short film "Daily...... And the existence of the one-eyed giant also makes the plot stretch...... It can be regarded as a comprehensive reflection on the Moon Sea copy.
In addition, it was here that I finally decided on a way to cut into a new scene...... After trying four different methods, I reluctantly found that the most suitable one was probably the fifth: hard cut...... (sighs)
In short, introspection still has a little effect.
So when I arrived at the Tianyuan Continent, Hongchen experienced the dungeon, and the protagonist brought Huaxi into again, but because there were no enemies in this dungeon, the plot couldn't be tightened...... I also can't arrange frequent spiritual invasions, which would cause reading fatigue, so after thinking about it, I decided to use "fun" to dilute the relaxation of the plot.
And based on my personal view that interesting plots come from interesting characters, so the Tianyuan dungeon focuses on the characters.
I wonder if I can write something interesting.
Then there was a premature death, and there was a dog licking scene with Pei Ming...... Even though I'm not good at writing characters, I still have to do my best to write them.
But the data feedback is not good, according to the background data trend, I judge that the main problem is caused by frequent map changes.
You know, my original plan was to write a longer experience dungeon, about twenty chapters long, after all, the best way to solve the problem of changing maps is not to change ......
But there was no way, and in the end I chose to cut off half of the plot, in fact, there was a foreshadowing of a sentence in the front, and the second half of the plot was written "Ask the Question".
As a result, it was cut, which led to the lack of explosiveness at the end of the Tian Yuan copy.
For example, the Moon Sea dungeon, there is a climax at the end, and the defeat of the Spirit Realm Lord in the Southern Continent dungeon is also a climax, but the climax of the Tianyuan Continent was originally intended to be at the "Ask Dao Conference", so it didn't explode.
As for the rest of the plot, because of the small space, there really isn't much to say, and the only idea is to try to avoid this kind of thing in the future, but fortunately, it shouldn't be used next month.
The three sandboxes have all been successfully stopped, and finally there is no need to run back and forth...... Next month, that is, in December, the tentative plot is that the fifth sandbox will be opened, and then the scenes on Earth will gradually increase, and whether the Imperials appear or not depends on the specific situation...... In addition, we need to gradually connect several worlds with each other, and hope to pass through the 20 years smoothly.
That's it, let's go cook instant noodles, good night everyone.
