Chapter 31 Treasure the Arch

Wasn't the vertical arch set written by Wu Zetian himself?

Shen Lang's question is not unreasonable, but in the absence of evidence, whether it is said or not, it seems that there is some lack of basis.

But Shen Lang didn't delve into this topic, he just said it casually, and after finishing speaking, he turned to look at Chen Gong and asked about the flying white body he said.

"I know cursive, but I haven't heard of this flying white body, Brother Chen Gong, you have a lot of adults, don't worry about the little brother in general, is the vertical arch set written in this flying white body?"

We all know Chen Gong's character, he naturally won't really care about Shen Lang's open-mouthed just now, he didn't make a fool of himself after hearing Shen Lang's inquiry, but slowly opened his mouth for Shen Lang to talk about what flying white body is.

"The so-called flying white, refers to the calligraphy with the characteristics of the slightest white in the strokes, although it is difficult but looks extremely elegant, Wu Zetian once wrote the name of the minister in flying white font and gave them it, if it were not for her own calligraphy has great confidence, she will not make such a move."

Speaking of this, Chen Gong's tone changed, and he looked at the vertical arch set in Chunting's hand with a puzzled face.

"But it's a little strange, although Wu Zetian is good at flying white font, but according to the relevant records in the history books, she used not flying white font to write in the vertical arch collection, but cursive."

I don't know much about this so-called flying white body, but when I heard Chen Gong talk about Wu Zetian's cursive script, I have a general understanding.

It's not because I'm proficient in calligraphy, in fact, I don't know anything about calligraphy like Shen Lang, but because Wu Zetian was the first person to engrave inscriptions in cursive, which is recorded in various ancient books, so I occasionally read the corresponding records.

Inscriptions are usually written to commemorate events or commemorate people, so it is really not suitable to write inscriptions in a wild and uninhibited font like cursive, but Wu Zetian set a precedent by being the first to engrave a tablet in cursive and write it herself.

And that stele is the stele of the prince's ascension to immortals that still exists in the world.

In the second year of the Wu Zhou holy calendar, Wu Zetian went to Songshan from Luoyang to seal the Zen, and on the way back to the Shendu, she stayed in the temple of the prince of the immortals in the mountain for a short time.

And for some reason, Wu Zetian watched the Temple of the Rising Immortal Prince actually touch the scene, and couldn't help but write an inscription for it and personally write a book for it.

After the stele is completed, the final inscription is a total of 33 lines, each line is 66 words, the font used is the line of writing and cursive script alternately, the surface records the story of the crown prince of Zhou Ling's ascension to immortals, in fact, it is in the praise of the prosperity of the Wu Zhou Dynasty.

On this stele, Wu Zetian's penmanship is graceful and smooth, both the feminine and graceful, and the vertical and horizontal opening and closing of the king, because this is a rare book of the emperor, and at the same time it is the only empress made by the eternal, so it has always been regarded as a treasure by calligraphy lovers.

From these records, I can roughly infer that since Wu Zetian dared to write the minister's name in flying white script, and at the same time wrote the inscription and wrote it herself, it is enough to see that she is quite confident in her calligraphy.

And this collection of vertical arches is her own treasure, and no one else can have the privilege of viewing it except her, and even so, she has no need to find someone to write it for her.

Chunting was unusually quiet on the side, and when he saw that we had been thinking about it for a long time but had not found any key points, he did not waste any more time, and put his hand on the vertical arch set and continued to scroll down.

And on the second page of this vertical arch set, we have an unexpected harvest.

There are no words on the cover of the vertical arch set, and there are only three big characters in the first page, and the second page is also not the content in the text, but a simple twelve words.

Close the mountain to, break all the Vientiane, have to hang the arch, look at the treasure.

There are only these four sentences on the second page, and together there are only 12 characters, which are written in cursive, with graceful and fluent gestures, sonorous and sonorous pen, and the content is concise and easy to understand.

Guan Shan Zhi refers to the people in Guan Shan who come here to explore, that is, our current line.

Breaking Vientiane is to say that we have solved the mechanisms and puzzles in the Vientiane Shrine along the way.

Vertical arch, this sentence is better understood, after this layer of organ tests, we finally saw the dragon body of the martial queen, and got this vertical arch collection from the golden silk jade pillow under her neck.

But what does the last sentence mean?

Is it simply the hope that future generations will collect the vertical arch and properly treasure it?

This is absolutely impossible.

The vertical arch collection is the essence of Wu Zetian's life's work written by himself, the full text is a total of 100 volumes, and can be roughly divided into two parts in terms of content.

One is to describe how she went from an ordinary talented woman to Zhaoyi, then called the empress and the second saint, and finally became the emperor.

The second is that she began to observe the governance of Taizong's Zhenguan from the time of Taizong, and the policies she summarized to govern the country.

Later generations say that the vertical arch concentrates on the many major events experienced by the Li Tang Dynasty and the Wu Zhou Dynasty in those years, and it is also an autobiography written by Wu Zetian in addition to dealing with the government in Wang style, so it is extremely precious and can be called a rare treasure.

But from our experience along the way, this statement does not hold.

Wu Zetiangui is a generation of empresses, but after her death, there is no gold, silver and jewelry next to her body as a funeral object, which shows that she is not a person who covets wealth.

Whether it is the so-called autobiography or the exquisite statecraft, it is not enough for Wu Zetian to attach so much importance to it.

That only shows that there is something more important hidden in this vertical arch set.

According to historical records, when Wu Zetian was dying, he told Li Xian to deliberately name this vertical arch collection as a funeral object and bury it in the Qianling Tomb with her.

Therefore, it is recognized by later generations that the vertical arch set should be in the Qianling Tomb, and Wang Xizhi's Lanting Collection Preface was buried for Wu Zetian, but because the Qianling Tomb has never been excavated, this statement has not been confirmed.

Now, in this Vientiane Shrine, we have seen the true face of the vertical arch set, so the statement that this vertical arch set is hidden in the Qianling Tomb is of course self-defeating.

And this Vientiane Divine Palace is more secret and safe than Qianling, even if Wu Zetian's status is noble, but after her death, in addition to this exquisite Vientiane Divine Palace, there is only this vertical arch set around her.

From this, we can see how important this vertical arch is in her heart.

After so many bizarre things, we naturally won't be naïve to believe that Wu Zetian left this vertical arch collection just so that future generations can properly treasure it, which is not in line with her character at all.

And the layout here is all related to Guanshan, is there some kind of relationship between this vertical arch set and Guanshan that we don't know?

If the direction of my understanding is correct, then this vertical arch collection is not written by Wu Zetian for himself, but left to the later Guanshan people.

In other words, this vertical arch set was specially left for us by Wu Zetian. Take a hundred plating to read the latest chapter of "Guanshan Chronicle Claw Book House" for free for the first time.
