On November 25th, the appointment ceremony of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts was held in the Graphic Information Center. Lin Tingfeng, Senior Vice President of China Literature, and Hou Qingchen, Vice President of Tencent Literature, have been appointed as Vice Dean (part-time) of the School of New Media Arts, Yang Chen, General Manager of China Literature, has been appointed as Assistant to the Dean of the School of New Media Arts (part-time), and Chen Cun, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Writers Association and President of the Shanghai Internet Writers Association, has been appointed as an adjunct professor of the University. After the appointment ceremony, Vice President Zhou Bin, Adjunct Vice Dean of the School of New Media Arts Hou Qingchen and Professor Chen Cun delivered speeches successively. Vice President Zhou Bin fully affirmed the school-running orientation of the network literature major (direction) of the extensive editing major, and grasped the relationship between the virtual network and real life. He said that the school would actively promote cooperation with China Literature. Hou Qingchen, Vice President of China Literature Group and Adjunct Vice Dean of the School of New Media Arts, said that he will create a broader platform for this major, provide an excellent team of writers, and do his best to develop the major in a better direction. He mentioned that at present, there is no detailed definition of online literature in the literary world, but it is an indispensable component of the current Internet, and the prospects are immeasurable. Professor Chen Cun's lecture was humorous and wise, and the atmosphere was lively, which was well received by the students.

It is understood that the radio and television directing major of the School of New Media Arts of our university was established in 2013 in the direction of literary planning and creation (i.e., the direction of online literature), which is at the forefront of similar universities in China, and the strong cooperation with China Literature Group reflects the strong confidence of the school and the senior management of China Literature Group in the development of this major, as well as the vision for the future development of the major.
