Chapter 3: The Cold-Faced Demon
The girl on the street, she walked towards Boro while crying.
From her crying, Boro seemed to be able to feel the sadness in the girl's heart.
"Why are you crying?" Boro walked forward in confusion, he had never seen anyone cry so hard, and the cry was even a little harsh.
"Everybody's dead......" the girl began to sob, and the crying became even more miserable.
"Dead ...... Done?" Borro didn't understand, "Aren't you all in there?" as he said, pointing to the loess house behind him.
"You...... Coming out?" Boro looked at the woman standing in the middle of the door in amazement. Her eyes widened, but she still looked lifeless. Red threads dragged behind her
Still silent, even the girl on the street stopped crying, slowly lowered her arms, and drooped weakly beside her.
The owl flew in from afar, perched on top of a house, staring at what was below.
The girl in front of her slowly raised her arm and walked towards her, and the girl on the street was also silently approaching, her eyes not tears, but something red.
The owl whispered like a war drum, while the two women approached the beat of the drum.
The woman's bloody nails touched Boro's face, and a hoarse and loud cry suddenly came from the sky.
Black lightning pierced the night sky, and it only came to say goodbye to friends who didn't have time to say goodbye.
A lot of white pulp flowed through the eyesockets that spread throughout its body, rendering the last remnants of the glossy black feathers a dead gray.
A silver-white flash of light pierced the silence in the woods, piercing the bloody fingers that touched Boro's face.
The owl seemed to realize that something was wrong and was about to spread its wings and flee, but before it could leave, a large net was cast from the sky and trapped it on the roof.
A black-robed figure rushed out of the darkness behind the trees, and a dagger flashed from its robe.
The weeping woman let out a shrill cry, the blood and tears in her eyes stopped flowing, and she raised her head to reveal the innocent face under the messy hair. "Help me!"
The girl's eyes were full of fear, and she kept pleading with Boro for him to save herself.
Boro, who didn't know why, had already planned to save the girl just by seeing the panic in her eyes, but the dark shadow in the distance didn't give him the time and opportunity to do so.
The dagger stabbed deftly into the girl's neck, blood spurting out of Boro's face.
The black robe that shrouded him fluttered up, and he pulled out the Mithril sword behind him and skimmed it over Boro's waist and stabbed straight into the young woman's head.
The skull was pierced, and she let out a miserable cry, quickly raising her bloodied fingers to grasp the shadow.
The blade turned, and the Mithril sword was instantly drawn, severing her entire palm. This was not the end of the story, and the black shadow slashed out with all his might, slashing off the woman's hideous head.
The blade spun in mid-air and landed on the back of Boro's neck.
The cold words "You are a human or a ghost" without any emotion were instilled into Boro's ears.
"Are you a human or a ghost?" Boro did not answer his question, but asked rhetorically.
"Save ...... Save me......" The woman's mouth was full of blood and her voice was slurred. He looked at Boro unwillingly. "Please...... You"
Boro took two steps forward to help her. The shadow poured a packet of yellow powder on the woman.
The woman's face gradually distorted and began to go crazy. The bright red pupils finally appeared, and she wanted to rush up and tear Boro's body apart right now. Watch him splatter blood on the spot!
But her actions had already been seen through by the dark shadow, and she threw a stone at hand......
The woman instantly turned into a blazing fireball in front of Boro, and the blazing heat made her even give up the urge to tear Boro's body apart.
It wasn't long before she lost all her mobility in the flames, and the flames scattered to the ground, leaving only a pile of charred bones.
Boro fell to his knees, the smell of scorching causing him to vomit.
The dark shadow glanced at him faintly, and turned to continue his unfinished work.
The same burned another corpse with flames, and then looked up at the house made of loess.
In her eyes, it was full of evil aura, and even though it was so far away, the strong smell of blood still made her frown.
"It won't be long before they're all revenant. ”
An even more spectacular flame suddenly ignited from behind Boro, and the skyrocketing flames were clearly visible even to exorcists miles away.
The shadow took out a flask, took a sip of his own, and threw it into the ring of fire in front of him.
The flask burst into flames, and the already ferocious flames erupted instantly, and the fire became even more powerful. The burst of heat lifted the black robe that enveloped her, revealing a pair of long hair.
She turned her head and put a grim face in front of Boro's eyes.
"Women, why are you burning them!" Boro angrily walked over and asked.
"They're long dead. The blood, you can see it too, it was the Blood Demon who really killed them," the woman stared at the immature face in front of her, staring at the shallow scar on his face.
"You're hurt. It must be washed with clean water. She took out a handkerchief from her bag, opened a porcelain vase, and poured the water into it.
"What bloodfiends! I saw with my own eyes that you burned them and everyone to death!" Boro shook off the woman's handkerchief and refused to give up.
"Weirdo" She didn't bother to pay attention to the man in front of her, her task had been completed, and it was time to leave.
Boro grabbed her wrist and said, "Don't go! You killed everyone, do you want to leave like this?"
"You're sick. Breaking free of Boro's hand, he pointed the Mithril sword at the shameless man in front of him, "If you dare to make trouble again, I will kill you!"
"Kill if you want to! You've already killed everyone, do you care about my life!" Although Boro has a little fear of death in his heart, the justice in his heart is telling him that he can't bow to the evil forces.
"You!"
"Senior sister!"
Affectionate shouts could be heard from the trees in the distance.
"I'm here. She looked at the approaching man and responded.
Looking at the messy land around him, the man asked in surprise, "You completed the commission alone?" It seems that he deliberately ignored Boro.
"There's also a night spirit that happened to be caught. ”
"Eidolon?" The man was even more surprised.
"Now that we've completed the commission, let's go back first. Teacher, they're all worried about you, so don't go it alone next time. ”
"I try. ”
Seeing that they wanted to leave, Boro immediately stopped him and said, "Can't go!"
The man then looked at Boro, "Who is he?"
"The one that the Bloodfiend just captured. She replied lightly, "Leave him alone, let's hurry up and find the master." ”
"It's fine. The man gave Boro one last cold look, and then left after the woman.
"Killed someone, and just walked away!" Boro was furious, but also saddened by the people who were burned to death by the fire.
He looked at the silver dagger in the pile of bones, it had withstood the test of fire, and it was still intact.
Boro searched the village and found a shovel to dig two holes. The bones of the two girls were buried separately.
The cold wind blew, and the forgotten handkerchief fluttered up, covering the gray crow's body......
