Leave of absence, impressions of this volume, and plans for the next volume
I'm going out tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, and I haven't saved the manuscript, so I can't keep it updated.
As for why there is no manuscript, there are many reasons, but everyone is obviously not interested in listening to it, so I won't talk about it.
I would like to take this opportunity to share my thoughts on this volume and my plans for the next volume.
The volume is coming to an end, and although the reader's rating is low, and the plot drags on and the clues are confusing, it is not to say that this volume has no value.
First of all, it's an attempt. Since it was an attempt, of course there were good and bad results, and now it is a bad result, nothing more.
In any case, the quest for change is still the direction of the future, and this book is not a routine text, and naturally it cannot be set in stone, which will lose the characteristics of this book.
So the question is, how to change?
This leads to the plan for the next volume, in which the reputation of the protagonist team will exceed 300, so they will participate in rated films, taking into account various factors, and temporarily set it as a one-man film, that is, they will be separated.
In terms of the number of words, it is expected to be between 70,000 and 120,000, which is a small number of words, which can effectively solve the problem of water injection and procrastination, and even if there is still such a problem, it can be quickly ended.
In terms of style, it is mainly terrifying, with the usual meaning of ghosts, which fits the current title of the book, and the time is selected as ancient, and I don't know much about history, so the dynasty is completely overhead and convenient to narrate.
Now back to the question I just said, how to change?
Change around the theme.
Survival and exploration are the two themes of this book, and no matter how they change, they will revolve around these two themes.
In addition, it should be noted that this book is not a battle of wit, and there is never such an item as a fight of wits in the author's custom label, so fighting wits from beginning to end is not the theme of this book. Therefore, there will be no reply to the complaints in this regard.
The wisdom mentioned in the introduction is not that two people or a group of people calculate each other, but that everyone observes and analyzes together to find a solution to a dilemma.
Then, as an author, I want the reader to make suggestions.
It's just that many readers have some misunderstandings, and here I will talk about what categories are proposed by the way.
The first is that the suggestion will be accepted: for example, typos, etc., commonly known as catching insects, there is no reason for the author not to accept this advice. For example, if a reader suggested that the words in their minds did not need to be double-quoted, it would cause reading discomfort, and even though there were hundreds of thousands of words, I still took the time to change them.
The second is the suggestion that may be accepted: the plot is too watery, the plot BUG, the writing style, the character characteristics, and other more general suggestions belong to this aspect.
The reason is simple, although many times the reader's suggestions are indeed very pertinent, the author may not have the ability to revise it, or can do it immediately, and the author's strength is limited, and he usually has his own writing plan.
Usually accepted suggestions are not taken: not dark enough, too virgin, etc., are purely personal preferences. Rather than writing for a single reader, the author writes for himself and the audience for which the work is intended, and this kind of advice is usually not related to the work itself.
Customers can't go to a salt shop and say it's not sweet enough, right?
Finally, there is a suggestion that will not be accepted: "Trash, what a thing!" Troll-style advice is not so much advice as it is a monstrous resentment from such readers, and such advice is meaningless except to spread negative emotions. Of course, it still makes sense for themselves. I wish them good health.
Well, that's all there is to it, good night.
