Chapter 25 Favoring one over the other
The night was dark, and I couldn't see my fingers. At the top of a dilapidated water tower in a slum in Istanbul. Chang Wei and Alena stood quietly.
Darkness couldn't stop Chang Wei's vision.
"It's a slaughterhouse."
Alena's cold voice rang out, but it only echoed within three feet of the two of them. Chang Wei told her that she didn't have to worry about being discovered, otherwise they wouldn't be standing on a high place in such a big way.
The front of this slaughterhouse is very empty, and it is easy for people standing on high places to expose their hiding.
"That's where they traded tonight."
Chang Wei bowed his head and raised his eyes to look: "What time is it?" โ
"It's one fifty now. There was still an hour and ten minutes to go before we got the news - three o'clock. Alena said.
The formless and insubstantial mana isolated the location of the two people at the top of the water tower, and their voices would not be transmitted, like a black hole, at least Alena had tried all her detection methods, but she could not detect Chang Wei under the shroud of mana.
She wondered what this was going to do. But I didn't ask. She felt that her relationship with this secret agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. was not to that extent.
I just know that I can confidently and boldly carry out the task with him, and that's enough.
Time passed slowly, and Chang Wei sat cross-legged. Alaina sat down occasionally, or stood up to look out for a momentโthough she couldn't see anything from a distance.
The barrier of mana makes the technological means outside this circle ineffective, and also makes some of Alena's items in the circle, such as night vision devices and the like, ineffective. You can only use the naked eye to see where you can see.
She looked at her watch every once in a while until Chang Wei stood up.
"Someone's coming."
Alena followed Chang Wei's gaze, and under the obstruction of the night, the naked eye could not see anything. I only heard Chang Wei say: "Five people, quick in action, vigorous in blood. โ
After a while, Alena faintly saw several shadows tumbling in from outside the crumbling walls of the slaughterhouse. Her eyes widened, and when she looked closely, it was indeed five people.
All five were tall and tall, but they were very quick and agile in their movements. They walked under the water tower and hid in a rubble next to the main building of the slaughterhouse.
"It seems to be a hairy bear." Chang Wei said calmly.
Alena spat out: "After all, the plutonium nucleus came out of Ukraine, and it is impossible for the woolly bear to ignore it." โ
It's obvious that the Bears are here, they also know the three o'clock deal tonight, and they are the first to come here to ambush.
Shortly after the arrival of the bears, at about 2:40 a.m., two cars came to the slaughterhouse with black lights, and more than a dozen people walked out of the cars.
One of them, carrying a large suitcase, was surrounded by others and quickly entered the slaughterhouse.
After a few more minutes, a group of heavily armed fighters came to the outside of the slaughterhouse and laid an ambush on one side. Within minutes, another team arrived, quiet on the other side outside the slaughterhouse.
In just a while, four people from different forces came here one after another. If you add Chang Wei and Alena, it's five.
At 2:55, a car came.
Everything was silent, and seven or eight people walked out of the car. Three of them were carrying suitcases, others were carrying AKs or micro charges, and heavily armed supporters cautiously walked in.
Alena and Chang Wei immediately understood that the Lord had arrived.
The play is about to begin.
Chang Wei grabbed Alena's elbow, and the two of them swept through the air like a fallen leaf, falling on the broken roof of the main slaughterhouse building.
A glimmer of light peeked through the cracks in the roof, and the people inside lit the lights.
Alena leaned down, her eyes looking down through the slit. I saw two groups of people standing across a cement slaughtering table, and no one spoke.
The man carrying the box on the seller's side walked slowly to the slaughtering table, put the leather box in his hand on the table, and opened the box with a click, revealing three hemispherical objects the size of sea bowls inside.
Alena stared at each other and said in a low voice, "Plutonium nucleus!" โ
She seemed to say to herself: "The volume of a kilogram of nuclear material is about the same as an egg." Each hemispherical container made of lead contains more than ten kilograms of nuclear material of the highest purity. โ
"Not a few." Chang Wei replied to her, flipped his hand, and a box about the same size as the seller below with plutonium cores appeared in front of him.
He opened the box and crouched down, and inside was a large pile of raw materials.
Alena withdrew her gaze from the crack, and when she looked at it, she couldn't help but be surprised: "You..."
"I'll add a fire to them." Chang Wei's tone was calm, as if eating and drinking.
As he spoke, these materials gradually turned into three 'plutonium nuclei' of exactly the same color and size as the plutonium nuclei below.
I saw that Chang Wei didn't know where he took out a fist-sized porcelain vase. He grabbed the porcelain bottle with his mana, carefully opened the stopper, and with a slight pull of mana, a wisp of lilac light flew out of the bottle.
The lilac light qi first divided into two strands, coiling on the three 'plutonium cores', Chang Wei thought about it, and muttered in his heart: "You can't favor one over the other... At most, for Natasha's face, the immortal ... It's always okay to take some eye drops, right? โ
So the two strands became three, and he snapped his fingers and said 'Hold'!
Three strands of lilac light, two thick and one faint, found three 'plutonium cores' and drilled into them.
Alena was stunned. She looked at it all and said she didn't understand. But when she saw the porcelain vase, she seemed to think that she had seen it somewhere.
"You're waiting here." Chang Wei closed the box and said to her, and then the person seemed to be submerged in the water, he just didn't enter the roof and melted in!
Alena hurriedly touched the place where Chang Wei had disappeared, and there was no change in touch. She looked a little confused, not knowing what to think.
In the next moment, Chang Wei emerged from the slaughtering table where the two sides were trading.
"Hello everyone."
He said hello.
The two parties were stunned, and then their eyes became confused.
Chang Wei Shi Ran took out the suitcase he had prepared, took out two homemade 'plutonium cores', and replaced them with two real plutonium cores.
Close the suitcase again and put it into the cave space.
Before leaving, he flicked his finger at the void, and with a faint sound, a little bit of five-colored light bloomed, dividing into twenty or thirty dim rays of light, which fell on everyone on both sides one by one.
He nodded with a smile, and the person had already disappeared into the cement slaughterhouse.
The next moment, Chang Wei returned to the roof and was confronted with Alena's questioning: "You left one for them?!" You're really crazy! โ
She watched Chang Wei do all this from the rooftop. At that moment, she almost couldn't help jumping down to take the last plutonium nucleus.
But he was afraid that he would mess with Chang Wei's methods and alarm the people who were lying in ambush around the slaughterhouse.
"I'm not crazy." Chang Wei said: "I took three, didn't I?" โ
"But one of them is fake!"
"I don't know if it's fake." Chang Wei said.
"Youโ" Alena was speechless.
"They can't take the plutonium nucleus." Alena exhaled, "Those people outside aren't eating dry food. โ
"So I gave them the ability to take the plutonium nucleus." Chang Wei grabbed Alena's elbow and flew back to the water tower: "Come, let's watch the play." โ
The trading in the slaughterhouse was not interrupted by Changwei. They completed the deal without a hitch.
At this moment, the woolly bears hiding in the ruins next to them instantly appeared.
