Chapter IX: Intelligence
"It's Lord Lothar's highest-level warning projectile, everyone assembles immediately!"
The roar of Viscount Matos's official rank of senior warrior rang out loudly in the town of Karllu.
While the town's guards were still in a state of confusion under a sudden attack, the 500 knights of the King's Praetorian Guard were already neatly dressed in front of the Viscount in a very short time.
"First Squad, take my coat of arms and that of General Lothar and tell the lord of this place that I am going to take over his soldiers!"
"Gather the mercenaries of this town and start arranging the defenses immediately!"
Viscount Matos was worthy of being the old deputy who had been with Lothar for six years, and after identifying that Lothar's warning was the highest alert level in the army, he calmly replaced his commander and began to arrange and strengthen the town's various defenses.
The other side.
"Damn, who the hell are these greenskins!"
After flying the battle axe, Lothar cursed angrily, and he swung the Great Royal Sword in his hand, and his whole body charged forward with a fierce wind.
"For the Horde!"
"Kill this man!"
These orc warriors, who were nearly 8 feet tall, with arms thicker than the thighs of a human male in their prime, and two fangs on both sides of the corners of their mouths, may have not seen any real human powerhouses in the previous invasion, and suddenly saw that the cowardly prey in their minds had discovered them, and they dared to take the initiative to attack, and they were immediately furious.
Nearly thirty green-skinned orc warriors simply stopped dodging, chanting beast words, emerging from behind the huge and ancient trees, brandishing rugged battle axes and war hammers without showing weakness, and howling towards Lothar.
Faced with these green beasts, who were not good people at first glance, Lothar did not hesitate to activate the powerful power of his hero rank.
Muscles like iron bumps bulged in Lothar's arms and legs, making his already burly body seem to be enlarged again.
"Boom!"
With a hard kick forward, Lothar raised his weapon as the ground churned and exploded.
"Buzz!"
The great royal sword in his hand slashed through the air and slashed at the battle axe of the first orc who came into contact with him.
Then, this epic weapon, like a scorching steel knife inserted into butter, the Great Royal Sword smashed the battle axe of the orc on the opposite side without hindrance.
In the terrified green gaze of the orc, Lothar turned into a slash, and with a ferocious shackle, the orc was cut in two.
As a powerful warrior of the hero rank, these ordinary orc warriors in front of him, who seem to be fierce, but whose real strength has not reached the transcendent rank, are no different from the little white rabbit in front of Lothar.
"Wow!"
The tragic orc broke in two, blood gushing out from the cut in his waist.
Only half of the broken body remained, and the orc crawling on the ground struggled forward for a while before choking up.
And that's just the beginning!
In just a few minutes, Lothar, who was holding the Great Royal Sword in his hand, ended the battle like a ferocious tank, with a speeding whirlwind.
Except for a prisoner who had been deliberately knocked unconscious and dressed slightly more neatly than the other orc warriors, a rudimentary orc scout squad with no warriors, no assassins, and no shamans was easily slaughtered by Lothar.
"Whew!" "Whew!" "Whew!"
Just as Lothar breathed a sigh of relief, a loud horn suddenly sounded at the back of the forest.
"Damn it!"
Lothar, who burst out with all her strength, clearly felt that the ground under her feet was shaking slightly.
Lothar, who was experienced in adventure, knew that this was a warning that a large group of men and horses were approaching, and he looked at the end of the forest, his eyes revealing solemnity, and said in a deep voice.
"Karen, we need to go back as soon as possible!"
Turning around, he saw Cullen's complicated expression as he stared at the orc captives he had thrown to the groundΒ·Β·Β·Β·Β·Β·

"My child, you know these evil creatures!"
In the very center of the town of Karllu, after handing over the orcs to the soldiers of the town guard, Lothar led Karen into the castle of the original lord, Baron Loren.
"Yes, the great Messianic See, several years ago, predicted the invasion of the tide of darkness."
Cullen replied with a grim face.
Karen was one of the spectators when the Messiah was in the Basilica of Holy Yahweh, using three-dimensional images to show the projection of the Orc invasion of the Dark Gate.
"These green monsters are called 'tribal orcs' by the Holy See."
"They are the spearheads of the dark Ones' invasion of Azeroth."
In front of Lothar, Karen did not hide the information of the orcs and said truthfully.
It turns out that over the years, Karen has joined the Holy Light School of 'Love'.
This was the third time that Cullen had mentioned the name of "Messiah" in front of him, and the image of a young priest in a white robe flashed in Lothar's mind in that remote town ten years ago, which was completely different from the mainstream of the human holy light school in the Eastern Kingdom continent.
"Tell me, kid!"
The guards on either side pushed open the door of the corridor leading to the banquet hall and knelt down on one knee in front of Lothar.
After returning to the town, the soldiers of the King's Guard had already informed Lothar that the banquet hall of the Lord's Castle, which had been ornately decorated, had been transformed into a "crisis defense command center" for the entire town, and that the Knights of Milan of the Territorial Guard, several mercenary regiments who were still in the town, and the officers of the King's Guard, were waiting for him there.
"How many of these so-called orcs are there?"
"There are about 1.2 million orc laborers, and there are 20 orc warriors, warlocks, and shamans."
Cullen, who was following behind Lothar, hesitated, but finally replied in a low voice.
"And, the Holy See of the Messiah says, this is only a tenth of the military strength of the entire tribe!"
These are all messages that the Messiah deliberately told Cullen, and in all of Azeroth, only the Holy See has clear information about the area around the Dark Gate.
Cullen's words made Lothar stop abruptly and turn to look at the young man behind him, his gaze serious and majestic.
"Do you know what you're talking about?"
As the leader of the army of the Stormwind Kingdom, Lothar clearly knows that the entire Stormwind Kingdom has a population of about 20 million, and the entire kingdom has 25 legions, each with about 5,000 people, and the total number of the king's army is 130,000.
And this number of troops is already the limit of the Storm Kingdom's normal army number, and it can also rank in the top three in the entire Seven Kingdoms of the Human Race.
"Are you sure you're telling the truth?"
Lothar's brow furrowed as he looked at Karen and asked solemnly.
If these green monsters, as Cullen said, there are that many of them. Then the entire Storm Kingdom, no, the entire human world on the Eastern Continent, is about to run into big trouble!
There are as many as 200,000 of these monsters that have never been encountered before, but what about all of them? 2 million people!
Don't look at him, those orcs are no different from a team of trash, but that's because he is a hero-level powerful warrior in the entire human society, who is no more than two palms.
For an ordinary human soldier, this monster with an all-round advantage in height and strength would require at least 3 heavily armed soldiers to confront an orc warrior.
If it is really as Cullen said, then the strength of those orcs is already in a terrible situation where they have exhausted the entire Seven Kingdoms of the Human Race, and they are still at a disadvantage!
After 200 years of peace, someone suddenly tells Lothar that an evil race more powerful than the entire human world has invaded your doorstep without anyone knowing!
To tell the truth, if it weren't for the fact that the person who told Lothar this information was Karen, and that dozens of towns and regions on the Upwind Trail where the Guardian was located had been lost one after another, Lothar would have dragged out this kind of bewitchment and hacked him to death.
"I'm sure I'm telling the truth!"
"That's why I left the sect and came here!"
Karen looked at his father with a determined gaze never beforeΒ·Β·Β·Β·Β·Β·
