Chapter 123: Not subject to precepts and rules, I have my own way in my heart!
Seeing Ye Rong's back gradually leaving, Yuan Zhen put his hand down, lowered his eyebrows and turned his head to look at Qin Ziye.
"The first time I saw Lord Qin's face before, Yuan Zhen knew that you were not an ordinary person."
"Today, when I heard that the donor reported to the head of Ye, the poor monk suddenly realized that the Qin donor was actually from the Taiyi Sect and the Taihua Immortals."
"Then with this kind of cultivation, it is naturally not surprising, it is indeed a famous teacher and a high apprentice."
Hearing Yuan Zhen's words, Qin Ziye smiled, and with a touch of the Qiankun bag on his waist, two pots of fine wine appeared between his hands.
"Monk, you don't have to be tempted."
"I am indeed from the Taiyi Mountain Taihuafeng Road Zhenren Sect, the master is as kind to me as a mountain, if you can meet the Taiyi Sect in the future, you can ask to see if there is any deception to you."
Qin Ziye bent down, put two pots of fine wine on the ground, picked up one of the pots casually, lifted the lid on it, and a mellow aroma diffused from the wine jug, gradually wafting in the entire stone house, even if it was outside the door, it could be smelled clearly.
It's really fragrant.
"The Buddha has five precepts, saying: do not kill, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not lie, and do not drink."
"The first four are nothing, but if you can't drink good wine, won't life be a great lack of fun?"
"This is a rare Jiannan spring wine in Jinling City at the foot of my Taiyi Mountain, and it is famous in the entire southern Qingzhou."
"How about it, monk, do you want to try it?"
Qin Ziye's voice fell, and Yuan Zhen's originally calm face frowned.
In his eyes, this Qin Ziye, who claimed to be from the Taiyi Sect, was full of weirdness all over his body.
Now the Luofu realm is more than ten times larger than before, and the four major states are separated from the mountains and seas, and if they want to cross from Qingzhou in the south to Yanzhou in the west, it is absolutely impossible to do it with the cultivation of the Jindan realm.
Only the Yuanshen monk can coerce the mana to come and go when he wants.
However, if Qin Ziye is really a disciple of True Immortal Lu Yao, then all of this can be explained.
As an immortal apprentice, it is not impossible to have some magical powers that cross mountains and seas.
Thinking of this, Yuan Zhen raised his head and saw Qin Ziye's action of drinking heavily while raising his hand on the sword Nanchun, and he was a little dumbfounded.
Perhaps people in the world think that the holy place of Buddhism like the Panruo Temple is full of Buddhist masters who are quiet and inactive and do not fall.
But that's just the surface.
Few people know that the true Buddhist teachings of Prajna Temple are not actually aimed at Mahayana Buddhism.
Thousands of years ago, the patriarch of the temple of Pranya Temple, who had been floating in the sea of suffering in the world for decades, once had an epiphany and was able to embark on the path of cultivation, and then went through various hardships before finally becoming a Buddha under a Bodhi tree.
The Bodhi tree, now standing on the mountain behind the temple, has been enshrined for thousands of years, and has also given birth to spirituality, protecting the entire temple, and turning the temple into a pure land for practice.
The true Mahayana Buddhism is: The world is a sea of suffering, and I am willing to be a boat in the sea of suffering, cross the world to become a Buddha, and ascend to bliss forever.
However, after the Bodhi Patriarch came to enlightenment, he felt that this was too great for mortals to do.
So he re-summarized the teachings of Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism, and went the opposite way, opening up a new path of Buddhist practice for the temple.
If you don't become a Buddha, how can you benefit the world, and how can you have the ability to reach out to all sentient beings?
The path of cultivation opened up by Patriarch Bodhi is the path of asking the mind.
The practice of Prajna Temple is to travel through the sea of red dust and bitterness in the world, taste the joys, sorrows and sorrows of the world, but do not indulge in it, and always maintain a detached state in the heart, and wait for the heart to be like a mirror, and then will not fall into the magic barrier, which is the day when the Buddha will become a Buddha.
Easier said than done.
Throughout the ages, several times throughout the entire Prajna Temple, all the disciples practiced the way of asking the mind passed down by the Bodhi Patriarch, but in the end, only the Bodhi Patriarch of the Lipai School could prove the sixth-order Buddha.
The mind is clear, this is the same realm as the three-flower gathering of the Tao, but it is even more difficult to cultivate.
If you can't cross yourself, how can you go to the world?
The so-called Mahayana Buddhism should be the path of practice after the sixth-order Buddha, but it should definitely not be the path of mortal practice.
Among the tens of thousands of dawn people, there may not be a saint like this.
Patriarch Bodhi realized this truth from the very beginning of his practice, and so he passed down the practice of asking the heart.
For thousands of years, the temple has been standing among the six major sects, becoming the only Buddhist holy place in the world, from which it is not difficult to see that this is indeed the most suitable Buddhist practice method for the general public.
"Get me a pot."
Yuan Zhen breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the futon.
Although I don't know what the details of this Qin Ziye are, but looking at this person, I have an inexplicable sense of closeness.
Yuanzhen's keen intuition can feel that this person has no bad intentions.
Since he didn't want to say it, he just didn't ask.
Seeing that the young monk who no longer continued to study and lowered his guard a little, Qin Ziye raised another pot of sword Nanchun on the ground, smiled at Yuan Zhen and asked:
"Hahaha, it turns out that monks also drink?"
"Qin originally thought that the masters who came out of the Praruo Temple would strictly abide by the precepts and rules!"
Seeing Qin Ziye, who was handing over the wine in his hand while talking, Yuan Zhen did not reply, grabbed the wine jug with his backhand, pulled out the wooden stopper on the wine lid, smelled the aroma of the wine, his eyes narrowed slightly, and he made a gesture of enjoyment.
"Keeping the vows and practicing is an attitude."
"Hanging one's own Dao fruit high and avoiding all kinds of troubles, although it is indeed easy to calm the meditation mind, it is also easy to be disturbed by the disturbances of red dust."
"This is the method of coming out of the dust, and if the Zen mind is firm enough, with this method, it is enough to achieve positive results."
"However, the poor monk is not talented, his heart is not strong, and he thinks that he cannot control this kind of cultivation method, so he chooses the method of joining the WTO."
"Five precepts and seven rules, what the poor monk quits is the thoughts in his heart, as long as he maintains the clarity of the spiritual platform and the understanding of thoughts, whether to drink this wine or not is as simple as whether you drink this water or not."
Yuan Zhen approached the wine jug, raised his nose and sniffed at the aroma emitted by Jian Nanchun for a moment, a wisp of satisfaction appeared on his face, and then took a sip, pointed to the bowl of water on the table next to him, and replied slowly to Qin Ziye.
"This monk..."
Qin Ziye pursed his lips, and after hearing Yuan Zhen's words, his face showed a speechless look.
At first glance, these truths do sound very reasonable.
But if you look at it carefully, it's all crooked.
From Qin Ziye's point of view, the two cultivation paths of this Praruo Temple are the most difficult to practice when entering the WTO.
The birth method only requires diligent observance of the precepts and polishing the Dao heart day after day, but this method of entering the world is to enter this rolling red dust and keep a Dao heart unmoving.
After decades of struggling in this world, who can guarantee that they will not change their original intentions?
If someone can do it, it is not far off to become a Buddha on the spot.
