Chapter Forty-Seven: The Kingkiller
"Is that him?"
"That's right! Even though he has a beard, I'm sure I'll not be mistaken! β
The sound from outside the black cell opened the eyelids of the emaciated prisoners inside.
There were two people standing outside the prison, the tall one had a well-proportioned figure and a handsome face, but his facial features had an exotic aura, and the short one was a little girl dressed in black......
Wait, little girl?
Jaime Lannister's eyes widened suddenly, and he stood up with a sudden, his shackles clanging.
"Arya Stark?"
Jaime's eyes widened as he glared at Arya outside.
He recognizes this face!
But Arya was not afraid of him at all, and she even made a playful salute.
"See you again, Sir Jaime."
After saluting, Arya stood up and grumbled to the man beside her.
"That's why I don't like these seemingly beautiful etiquette, as long as someone gently pushed me just now, I fell down, not at all as good as the pile skills and footwork you taught......"
The corners of Lin Yi's mouth twitched, and he casually said a few perfunctory words to the little apprentice, and then looked at James.
Jaime's eyes widened, and after seeing Arya return safely, but Stark and Tully hadn't returned him to the Lannisters, he thought of something terrible.
"Lannister defeated?"
Jaime leaned against the wall in some decadence.
"Sooner or later, you're going to lose!" Arya said calmly, "The grey wind will bite all the Lannisters. β
"That's undefeated."
Jaime's eyes lit up, but then they went dark again.
What does it matter to him whether the Lannisters win or lose, the lords of the city have a life-and-death enmity with him, and Arya has returned to Riverrun City alive, and he can't escape death no matter what.
"Thank you for the information, dear Miss Arya."
There was a hint of languidness and sarcasm in James's tone.
"Maybe I should have asked you to sit down, but your uncle didn't leave me a chair."
But Arya didn't pay any attention to this, she was still as calm as before.
"Don't think it's going to make me ashamed, I just don't want to hit your heart when I say this, lest you lose and say we're taking advantage of others."
ββ¦β¦ Lose? β
Jaime was slightly stunned, and turned his head to look at the two men outside the cell.
Of course, it was mainly the man in black.
After just a few glances, Jaime was sure that this was a very good swordsman, whether it was his body, his posture, or his eyes, all of them exuded a confident edge.
If it was in the past, when he met such a person, he would definitely draw his sword and compete with him.
But now......
Jaime sat in the corner unconcernedly, his shaggy beard covering half of his face, looking like a snoozing lion.
"Leave, little girl, this is not the place for you, and if a woman had to interrogate me, it would be better to be your mother."
"You!"
Arya glared at her.
Now she can't tolerate anyone insulting her family, especially her mother Caitlin.
"I'm going to challenge you!"
She pulled out the sewing needle at her waist, and her eyes were as cold as a lone wolf on an ice field.
Jaime looked at her with some surprise, then laughed.
"Little girl, I like you very much, there will always be some alternative little girls like you in the Stark family, you can go, I shouldn't spit on you with my suffocating words."
Lin Yi gently patted Arya's shoulder, stretched out his hand and put his hand on the door of the dungeon, and with a strong urge, the simple structure of the black prison lock was instantly destroyed.
The cell door creaked open.
Jaime frowned, slowly stood up, and stared at Lin Yi tightly.
"What do you want to do?"
Hearing Jaime's question, Lin Yi smiled.
"I heard you're the best swordsman in Westeros."
"So you're going to challenge me?"
Jaime looked at Lin Yi with interest.
"Not me."
Lin Yi shook his head.
"It's me!" Arya walked through the cell door, "Didn't I say I'm going to challenge you." β
"Was it a skinny little girl who was going to fight me?"
Jaime's gaze moved to Lin Yi, as if with a touch of disdain.
"I thought it was this strong swordsman!"
"You're no match for me."
Lin Yi shook his head again.
"Oh?" Jaime smiled, "Give me the sword at your waist and let me weigh you." β
As soon as he finished speaking, a steel sword was thrown over.
Jaime's handcuffed hands caught the hilt of the sword with precision, raised his head, and looked at Lin Yi with some surprise.
"Are you serious?"
"What do you say?"
Lin Yi looked at him indifferently.
Jaime began to think of it as a fledgling. Overconfident swordsman, he laughed and took a step forward, the chains behind him straightened as a result.
Jaime sneered, spreading his handcuffed hands.
"Hah! Then I'm really going to lose! β
Hearing James's sarcastic words, Lin Yi also smiled.
"Are you humiliating my intelligence, Sir Jaime?"
Jaime pursed his lips when he heard this.
"I'm not a fool."
Arya frowned as she whispered.
"Teacher, this is not a fair duel."
"Silly boy." Lin Yi laughed, "If you take off the handcuffs, you won't be able to win!" β
"Really?"
Arya didn't doubt Lin Yi's judgment at all, and she said with some loss.
"Looks like I'm still not good enough."
"It's okay." Lin Yi comforted, "You are only nine years old, and when this guy in front of you was nine years old, maybe he was still playing with pee and mud!" Believe me, the future First Swordsman of Westeros must be you. β
"Of course!"
Arya didn't have the slightest doubt about this.
"The Kingkiller will be your best opponent until you reach the limit, but if you want to find another suitable opponent after you have outdone him, you must pray to the gods to resurrect the Dawn Excalibur......"
is about to leave north, Lin Yi is like an old mother, eager to pave all the roads for the next twenty years of Arya.
Looking at the master and apprentice on the other side, Jaime's heart was full of absurdity.
He admitted that Lin Yi's evaluation of the Dawn Excalibur surpassed him, but he didn't think that the little girl in front of him would be his opponent, even if he was handcuffed.
In his eyes, this is undoubtedly a ridiculous farce.
"Forget it."
He tossed the steel sword in Jaime's hand to the ground, and the ragged monarch sat in the corner.
"Even if I kill you, I won't be able to escape, you guys go, I don't want to waste more energy because of this, the food in Riverrun City is not very good."
"You think I'm humiliating you?"
Lin Yi smiled.
Jaime didn't want to pay attention to this guy who popped out of nowhere, but what happened in the next second made his eyes widen.
Just as he looked down and looked up, an identical steel sword appeared in the hand of the man in black opposite.
Jaime looked down again, and found that the sword he had thrown to the ground had disappeared.
No! The sword wasn't gone, it was just back in the guy's hand again.
Jaime felt an uproar in his heart.
Just that moment?!
He didn't even notice it!
At this moment, Lin Yi moved.
"Zhengβ"
In an instant, several solid sword lights filled Jaime's vision, and Jaime felt his wrist loosen, and then lowered his head, and the handcuffs and leg shackles actually broke together.
"On the contrary, I admire you, Jaime Lannister."
Lin Yi looked at James calmly, and suddenly a steel sword appeared out of thin air in his empty left hand.
"It wasn't my intention to humiliate you, since you want a fair duel, I can give it to you, but ......"
Lin Yi didn't finish speaking, but his meaning was already very obvious.
β¦β¦ Do you dare?
Jaime immediately laughed, this time, he didn't think Lin Yi's words were arrogant, on the contrary, after seeing such a scene, Jaime felt that he had this qualification.
This is a swordsman who has gone further than the Dawn Excalibur.
"I apologize for my previous arrogance."
He put away all the hangers, shook off the handcuffs and shackles on his body, and looked at Lin Yi seriously.
"I'm willing to accept it...... No, I want to challenge you. β
He would rather die at the hands of this man than die in obscurity somewhere in this black prison one day.
Lin Yi smiled slightly, threw the iron sword in his left hand over, and said to Arya beside him at the same time.
"Remember what I said about the fast sword?"
"Remember!" Arya's eyes lit up.
Jaime took the iron sword and danced a sword flower casually, staring at Lin Yi expectantly and seriously.
Just as Jaime was about to draw his sword, a voice came from outside the cell.
"Wait a minute!"
Hurried footsteps followed.
"Mr. Yi, please be merciful."
The familiar voice sounded from memory, causing Arya's eyes to widen in surprise.
She couldn't wait to run out, a cry of surprise ringing out outside the cell door.
"Robb!"
