Chapter Ninety-Three: Gary's Struggle

Listening to the man's resolute but difficult language, and looking at the man's constantly squirming Adam's apple, Dante took another sip of wine noncommittally.

"Whatever you want!" Dante set aside the empty bottle, his hands clasped behind his head, and he leaned comfortably on the sofa, his feet resting on the nearest table.

"Why, aren't you going to tell me what you mean!" Dante asked softly, "But before you say everything, I want to tell you one thing first, just now, I met a devil possessed by the airport security guard at the airport, and the devil escaped from my hands, but this is not the point, the key is why you have the smell of the devil, and it is not ordinary!"

After Dante finished speaking, he pulled out an M1911 in the holster on his waist, held it in his hand and kept playing with it, the embarrassed man looked at Dante's muzzle, and couldn't help but swallow a mouthful of saliva again!

"I'm ......!"

The man hesitated for a long time, he looked nervous, sweat building up on his head and dripping down his cheeks onto his shirt.

"I'd better have a drink, damn it!"

The man shouted in a low voice, he quickly snatched back the wine glass on the coffee table, ignored the spilled wine on his hands, drank the rest of the wine in the cup, he pinched the empty glass, kept pinching hard, and the green tendons even appeared on the back of his hand and forearm.

"I'm Gary Lester, I'm in some trouble, I'm here to ask for help from a friend!"

"Is that the devil the trouble you're talking about?"

After Dante finished speaking, he snorted softly, he picked up the pistol and shot it out!

"Oh my God!" Gary was startled, he really jumped up, his hands kept groping around his body, "You shot like that, what's wrong with what I said!"

Gary cursed as he frantically searched for his wounds, but he realized that he hadn't been shot!

Dante looked at Gary's burlesque performance and grinned, "Look at your left foot, that bug is just on you, they seem to have a certain connection with you, don't tell me you don't know them!"

Dante said as he pointed the gun in his left hand at Gary's feet, which frightened Gary into a thrill, but when Gary saw the broken insect corpse on the ground, Gary's expression was even more ugly than when he was frightened!

"Yes, of course I know them!" Gary stood stunned, looking helplessly at the bug, which was part of the devil who had just been scared away by Dante, and Gary stood there for a long time, until he collapsed on the old couch with all his body weak.

"They were brought to Atlanta by me, and I am guilty, I am guilty!"

Gary curled up back on the couch, his arms resting on his knees, his hands covering his face, his eyes occasionally peeking through his fingers.

"I told airport security, don't touch that bottle, don't touch it, but he didn't listen to me, I brought the devil to Atlanta, I didn't mean it, I really didn't mean it!"

"Okay, no one is blaming you, cheer up, don't act like a!" Dante picked up a rag from his side and tossed it to Gary. "Now wipe your hands clean, it's all wine ......!"

Maybe Dante said this a little later, Gary wiped the cloth on his face the moment he received it, Dante helplessly watched Gary wipe the tears and sweat off his face, and watched the rag leave a few stains on Gary's already dry face.

Gary didn't notice Dante's smiling expression, and he folded the rag and set it aside.

"Thanks, I mean, thank you for the towels, oh yes, and for your comfort, thank you!" Gary said incoherently, slowly recounting his story.

"Yesterday I was still in Sudan, I flew here from Khartoum for nineteen hours, this is Atlanta, because I was carrying a bottle with me, and that bottle was sealed with a devil, and I sealed it, no, no, no, no, it wasn't me, it was someone else who sealed it on that child, and I sealed them in the bottle again, sorry, sorry, my mind is a little messy, I, I'm sad!"

Gary was so incoherent that he couldn't help but get up from the couch and threw himself in front of Dante, only to hear a thud and he fell to his knees.

"I saw a boy in Khartoum, it was an ordinary street in Khartoum, I saw a boy sitting on the side of the street, no one to talk to, he didn't look like an adult, but I wasn't sure, it was a black man, I couldn't see how big he was, he was very thin, very poor, skinny kind, but the last thing I could forget was his face!"

Gary, who was kneeling on the ground, stretched out his hand and pointed at his face, his fingers were shaking, trembling and even spasmodic, and he tried to draw some patterns on his face with his fingers, he said as he stroked.

"The patterns weren't painted with paint, but with a knife carved directly into the boy's face, it looked like a seal, I only knew a little bit of magic, and I shouldn't have interfered with it, but when I saw the poor child, I felt that I should do something, I had to do something, maybe, I could save the boy, and that would make up for the mistake I made in Newcastle!"

"Hey!" Dante reached out and grabbed Gary's arm, pulled Gary up, and put him back on the couch: "Speak slowly, don't get excited, I'm not a priest, I won't listen to your offense, and I won't punish you, you just need to tell everything as a story!"

After Dante finished speaking, he patted Gary on the shoulder to signal Gary to calm down, and then, Dante took out another bottle of wine and poured Gary a glass.

Gary drank two glasses in a row in a panic, and the strength of the wine made Gary's pale face a little more bloody, Gary's eyes were a little misty, his mood stabilized a little, and he just listened to him continue.

"I was drinking before I went to Sudan, in fact, I was in New York, I was unconscious at a bar in Hell's Kitchen, and when I woke up, I was already in Sudan, Sudan, New York, New York, Sudan!"

Gary said, gesturing with his hand.

"How far is this, can you believe it, I just had a hangover and came from New York to Sudan!"

His eyes were full of yearning, and there was not only yearning in those eyes, but also worship and admiration.

"I thought, it must be God's arrangement, the omniscient Father saw the mistakes I made in Newcastle, he saw my pain and remorse, he sent me to the Sultan, to the child whose body was sealed with demons, I said, I am not a powerful magician, I can only do a few magics, but the magic I have mastered can save that child, this is providence, it must be providence!"

Gary seemed to be a little drunk, and he lay down on the couch, his body no longer tense and stiff, but comfortably relaxed.

"I used my magic to transfer the devil in the child's body to one of my antique bottles, which I bought on the side of the road in Hell's Kitchen before I got drunk, it looked very old, and there were many runes on it, and I felt that bottle could withstand the devil in the child's body, and, I guessed right, I did it, I sealed the bugs into my bottle, I saved the child, I saved a life, I have atoned for my sins, I have been regretting what I have done in Newcastle for these two years, I have always believed in Konstantin, I treat him as my brother, even now it is the same, the only, the onlyThe only time I felt he had done something wrong was when he was in Newcastle, but I am now atoning for myself!"

"You're doing a great job!" Dante clapped softly, although Dante sensed that what had happened to Gary was a conspiracy, but in the face of the boy in pain, Gary made the decision to save him, and that was enough, wasn't it?

As for the whole thing that happened to Gary, how could it be so coincidental, a half-witted man who only knew one or two hands of magic, inexplicably came to Sudan from New York overnight, and inexplicably bumped into the child who carried the demon in his body, obviously there was a big hand that was stirring all this, that black hand knew the relationship between Gary and Constantine, and he knew that Gary would choose to solve the devil with Konstantin after sealing the demon!

"But I didn't expect that everything should have been perfect, I took the bottle to the house of everything, and handed it to John, John is much better than me, he will completely expel the devil, everything should be perfect!" Gary suddenly stared at him desperately, his eyes were full of ferocity, he gritted his teeth and said: "The airport security detained me, they checked my things, they turned out my bottle, I told them not to touch it, but the damn security broke the bottle!"

Gary howled violently, and as he cried, he tore at the clothes on his chest, his shirt shattered, his chest bloodied by his fingernails, and he howled desperately.

"I could have atoned, but now, the devil is raging again, and there are many people in Atlanta who will die because of that devil, and I have committed an even greater sin, and my sin is unforgivable, my sin is unforgivable......!"

He yelled frantically, his hands raised to the ceiling, his broken muscle fibers still in his fingernails, as if he was praying for God's punishment, but God did not punish him, which made him even more painful.

"I'm guilty......!"

He muttered until Dante got up and walked up to him and slapped him hard.

The slap knocked Gary unconscious, and Gary collapsed on the couch, his face covered in a mixture of tears and stains, and his chest was covered with nail cuts, which slowly oozes blood.

"Maybe fainting is the best outcome for you!"

Dante looked at Gary with pity and went to the bedroom to find a blanket to cover Gary.

"As for my slap, you should regard it as God's punishment, after all, there will be poor people who will die because of you, even if you did not mean it, but your recklessness has made you a big mistake. ”

After Dante finished speaking, he returned to his couch, rubbing his gun in his hand, and after getting used to the warm feel of vibranium and the smooth magic drive, Dante was not used to these ordinary guns.
