Chapter 11: The Key
Tamia asked, confused.
"She's such a prostitute?"
Oreo pointed in the direction of Seventh Street, and the two walked down the street toward that side, as he spoke.
"She's the daughter of a prostitute and is running for the Black Queen in a month."
"The Black Queen?"
Tamia rolled her eyes, "How did you and her meet?" ”
This is something else going on.
Oreo squeezed out a forced smile.
"She was curious about detectives, so her mother entrusted me to show her a long history."
Tamia narrowed her eyes and asked rhetorically.
"Is she more curious about the detective, or is she more curious about you?"
Sensing the hostility in her words, Oreo paused, and then spoke.
"It's almost celebration day, and it doesn't matter."
"Huh."
Tamia let out an incomprehensible sneer, then kicked the rubble off the side of the road into the air.
"Tamia."
Oreo pretended to be natural, "There's something I'd like to ask you. ”
Tamia pursed her lips.
"I'm almost home, just ask."
"Do you live on Eighth Street?"
Oreo glanced at the buildings on the street, "I want to know something from a long time ago, I don't know if you still have an impression...... Was it about that day at the resort, did you and Angelyl find anything else in that house? ”
"Resort?"
Tamia narrowed her eyes, "Angelil? ”
Oreo spread his hands.
"That girl that day was Angelelle."
"Why didn't she say it just now?"
Tamia gritted her teeth and said, "That girl is very scheming. ”
Oreo said in a slow tone.
"Maybe I don't want you to misunderstand."
"There's nothing wrong with that."
Tamia pursed her lips, "What do you mean by special discovery?" ”
"Uh..."
Oreo looked around, then said in a low voice.
"Tamia, you'll have to keep this secret for me."
Tamia stopped and said on her toes.
"No, no, no, Lord Oreo, you're begging me right now."
"Hoo ......"
Oreo took a long breath, as if hesitating.
Tamia didn't say anything, just stared at him coldly.
After a long hesitation, Oreo muttered.
"Which way is this thing pointing......
With that, he raised his head, looked Tamia in the eye, and shook his head.
"Sheriff Tamia, sorry for the delay."
With that, he turned and left.
Tamia kept staring at Oreo's back, unsure if it was a temptation.
But she suddenly remembered what Reka had said
- Detective Oreo? Don't be curious about his story, he's a black hole.
"Hey!"
Tamia didn't believe that there was any black hole in the world, she lowered her arms and said with a sneer.
"I promise to keep it a secret."
She thought Oreo had been waiting for her to say this, but in the end, she realized that Oreo hadn't heard her say anything at all, and that he was really planning to leave.
But he hadn't taken two steps before he caught up with two City Patrol members, and after dark, it was hard for a ragged man like him not to be stopped.
Oreo argued, but was quickly caught in the carriage by the City Patrolman.
As the carriage passed by her, Tamia rolled her eyes and shouted.
"Stop."
The carriage soon stopped, and the two men stared at Tamya suspiciously, but after seeing her slender legs under her trench coat, they quickly understood Tamia's identity and greeted each other.
"Sheriff Tamia."
Tamia gestured to the carriage.
"Put that little sniffle down."
Tamia was the sheriff of Fifth Street, and besides, it was a trivial matter, so Oreo was quickly put down.
The carriage was tapping and treading away.
Tamia coughed twice and pushed the narrow door behind her open.
"Come on."
Behind the narrow door was a staircase, and it seemed that Tamia's residence was on the second floor of the shop next door, and the house must not be much bigger.
He pursed his lips and whispered.
"Thank you."
"Hey!"
Tamia was going crazy, it turned out that Oreo and her had been talking about two things.
She stepped up the stairs with one foot, turned her head, and said, "I mean, I promised to keep it a secret. ”
Seeing that Oreo still didn't react, Tamia somehow went berserk.
"You can't get up at all!"
Oreo scratched his hair and said reluctantly.
"Then come up."
The two of them walked up the stairs one after the other, but they didn't expect that there were two houses on the second floor, so that Tamia's residence would be half as small as Oreo had estimated.
For a nobleman, living in such a place is simply intolerable.
Tamia pushed open the door and spoke calmly.
"I know what you're thinking."
"I think it's good."
Oreo shook his head, "Of course, this is from a perspective other than the nobility. ”
"Open-mouthed nobles, closed-mouthed nobles."
Tamia scoffed, "Don't look at your office, that's where a nobleman should live." ”
"Then you're thinking wrong,"
Oreo spread his hands, "I just like that house. ”
Tamia pulls out two pairs of slippers, both pink.
She tossed her slippers at Oreo's feet and quibbled.
"Then I like it too, don't you?"
Oreo nodded, surveying Tamia's room.
The room was arranged in half, and the living area could only fit a bed, which was cramped.
But the other half is a small living balcony, which doubles as a cloakroom, with a few sets of police uniforms hanging in it, and the rest are some sharp dresses.
Oreo exclaimed.
"Sheriff Tamia, I like it here, too."
"Sit."
Tamia moved a stool for Oreo, and she sat on the bed with her breasts crossed.
"Tell me something."
Retracting his gaze from the pile of hats, Oreo leaned forward and whispered.
"Tamia, did Reka tell you that I went to Mogul City a month ago."
The distance between the two was a little uncomfortable, and Tamia tilted her head slightly.
"Mogul City? The robbers? ”
"It doesn't matter,"
Oreo waved his hand, as if trying to dispel the awkward air.
"The important thing is that I found something in Mogul City."
Tamia tensed.
"Something."
Oreo said slowly.
"A safe, the owner of which is Merkel Sarin."
Tamia quickly understood what he meant, and she spoke quickly.
"You're looking for the key to that safe? Can't you just pry it open? ”
"That's why I'm here for you."
Oreo held out his hands and gestured in front of him.
"It's a very special safe, and if you force it open, the contents will be destroyed."
Tamia stood up, looking down at Oreo condescendingly.
"Detective Oreo, that means you dealt with that gang of robbers, and you only took Merkel's safe from them, then you must know in advance what was in that box."
Under the gaze of his sharp gaze, Oreo slowly looked up and met Tamia's gaze.
