Chapter XXVIII: Legal Aid

It was close to noon when the guests who were supposed to check out came out of their rooms.

Carrying large bags and small bags, they boarded the carriage parked in front of the door.

Before the waiter could clean up, the poor manservant went into the room with a salute, and then heard the nobleman shouting.

"Go out and eat, the stuff here must be as bad as shit!"

As he spoke, the nobleman in his ridiculous black coat stepped down, and long after he had walked out of the hotel, he could still be heard cursing.

"What the damn weather, what the hell is the desert!"

The tall manservant followed out with the kettle, quickly blocking the watcher's view.

After walking two blocks, Oreo slowed down, excused himself to look at his boots, and asked in a low voice.

"Is that them?"

"Yes."

Cuarón replied quietly, "It was Kelvin's cousin who was spying on us just now. ”

Oreo nodded.

"They look like they've been there for days, and they're so bold."

Looking down in contemplation for a moment, Caron said.

"Maybe it's waiting for a buyer?"

"It's trickier than I thought."

Oreo sighed, "It seems that Catu is bound to clash with Kelvin, and we will leave when we have the evidence...... We can't go any further. ”

Cuarón moved his lips, but finally said.

"Yes, as you wish."

Nodding, Oreo suddenly stopped.

"Caron, do you still have any money?"

Hearing this, Cuaron's expression became serious, and he cleared his throat before speaking.

"Young master, hasn't you always been in charge of money?"

Shaking the empty purse, Oreo frowned.

"That's the lack of money?"

With that, Caron straightened up and looked around at the passers-by.

As long as Oreo gives the order, there will be one more innocent passerby on this street...... Or several.

Kicking the fine rock on the side of the road, Oreo cursed through gritted teeth.

"Damn Tamia!"

After saying that, he vented his emotions again, and then turned around and said.

"Hat!"

Cuarón handed over the black top hat in his arms.

Buttoning his hat over his head, Oreo reached out and straightened the brim of his hat for a moment.

After confirming that he was dressed correctly, he walked to the restaurant on the street with his head held high, shouting in the Ikra Imperial Chinese.

"Boss, two servings of roast camel meat!"

Seeing such a strange dress, the little girl in the store was stunned, and then walked towards the back kitchen step by step.

"Young Master."

Cuarón whispered, "They're from the Venada Empire. ”

"I know, folk."

Oreo nodded, "In a place where this kind of bird doesn't, fellow villagers should help each other out." ”

Cuarón looked like he was speechless, but kept his mouth shut.

Roasted camel meat was quickly served, topped with thick layers of cumin and crushed peppers.

"Hey."

Oreo spoke suddenly, startling the little girl.

She withdrew her hands, her expression awkward.

"How... What's wrong. ”

Oreo picked up a piece of roast camel meat, admired it with a focused eye, and swallowed it in one gulp.

Intimidated by his strange dress, the little girl never dared to leave.

Quickly swallowing the piece of camel meat, Oreo commented.

"It tastes good."

After commenting, he spread his ten fingers, clasped them in front of him, and looked up at the little girl.

"I'm also from the Venada Empire and a lawyer, do you need legal advice here?"

The little girl looked puzzled.

"Law... Consultation? ”

"Legal advice."

Oreo corrected, "That is, do you have any disputes that you can't resolve with your current knowledge, or rules and regulations that you can't understand?"

If you have anything, please say it, I will sort it out for you, and I believe you will find a suitable solution. ”

"I'm ......" the little girl held the plate, she was already so aggrieved that she couldn't speak.

"Nope."

A gruff voice rang out.

The strong man lifted the curtain and stepped out of the back kitchen, holding a long knife covered with grease.

He held the little girl behind him, and then stared at Oreo with knowing eyes.

After all, in a place like Mogul City, he has seen all kinds of guests.

"Sir."

As if he didn't see the sharp knife in his hand, Oreo said unhurriedly.

"I am a very famous lawyer, and I happen to be from the Venada Empire, and I have traveled here for a long time, thinking that everyone is a fellow countryman, so I want to ask you if there is anything you need to do for legal advice."

"Nope."

Staring into Oreo's eyes, the man shook his head before adding. "Two roasts, two silver coins."

Oreo smiled politely.

"If you don't need legal advice, it just so happens that my partner is a full-time thug, and I heard that there are a lot of thugs in Mogul City, do you need our help to solve it?"

"There is ......"

The little girl apparently wanted to say something, but was stopped by the strong man.

He took half a step back, clasping his hands on his chest, the sharp knife in his hand shiny.

"Nope."

Oreo retracted his smile and lowered his head to pick up the second slice of roast.

"Cuarón."

"Linda! Retreat to the corner. ”

The sentence was clearly an order, and the strong man let out a low cry and told the little girl to retreat into the distance, then raised the sharp knife and stared warily at the tall silver-haired manservant.

After all, this man is obviously more threatening than that little man.

Cuarón slowly stood up, taller than he had imagined, but not burly.

He stared at the saber in the strong man's hand, then rubbed his hands together and smiled narrowly.

"That's... The young master and I don't have any money at the moment, so you still don't have the money to wash the dishes. ”

“......”

The strong man obviously didn't expect him to ask such a question, he froze in place for a while, and then said after a long while.

"There is no shortage of ...... Are you really from the Venada Empire? ”

Caron nodded.

"As you can see, we are unlucky merchants, and when we pass through the bottom of the windy valley, we encounter a strong wind, and the goods and money bags are blown away."

"That's it—" The strong man's tone softened.

Judging from his expression, his meal should have been settled.

Oreo breathed a sigh of relief, but he didn't expect the strong man to say again.

"I can not take your money, but do you have anything of value on you, you can mortgage it here, and redeem it at any time if you want."

"Hiccup."

Oreo wanted to sigh, but ended up burping.

After that, he hiccuped again, and then said.

"Why should the fellow be embarrassed...... fellow"

Before he could finish his sentence, he saw the strong man visibly nervous, and then he heard an unpleasant voice coming from outside the door.

"Buck, you've been doing a good job lately."
