Chapter 12 Training
Turin, Forward Street.
Seeing Oreo in the distance, CuarΓ³n greeted him as before.
"Young master, have you eaten dinner?"
"I've eaten it."
Oreo rubbed his stomach.
Tamia was right, and her previous overeating had caused her discomfort.
Walking into the office, just as he was about to throw the two bags of gold coins into the floor clock, Oreo suddenly remembered something, turned and walked out the door.
Cuaron asked, gesturing to his freshly sun-dried black suit.
"Young master, do you want to change your clothes?"
"No, I don't."
Oreo waved his hand and didn't look back.
It was time to get off work around dinner, and there were many pedestrians on the road.
The people on the back three streets all knew Oreo and said hello one after another.
"Lord Oreo."
"Mr. Oreo."
"Mistress Oreo."
Rubbing the face of a tiny doll, Oreo and his mother whispered goodbye before heading toward Eleventh Street.
Although it is not yet the time for prostitutes to work, the streets are full of prostitutes who have just eaten and are walking.
Seeing Oreo, several figures quickly pasted over, smiling and smiling.
"Lord Pravor, what wind brought you here?"
"Your Excellency, I am seriously ill, and I believe that only you can cure me."
Pushing away the restless right hand of a certain prostitute, Oreo asked in a low voice.
"Is Angelyl back?"
The prostitutes chattered.
"When she came back at midnight last night, Mrs. Peggy scolded her half to death, and now she must be locked up in the backyard."
"I don't know which man fascinated her and dared to sneak out behind Mrs. Peggy's back, she would definitely get a few whips."
"How is it possible, you must know that it is not two months before the grand ceremony, and it is too late for Lady Peggy to hold her in the palm of her hand, how can it be possible to leave a mark on her delicate skin."
"What if she goes out with a man, it's worthless."
"Just look at Mrs. Peggy's expression, Angelyl must still be a virgin, otherwise Eleventh Street will not be at peace for the past few days."
Surrounded by a crowd of prostitutes, Oreo stopped at the door of Mrs. Peggy's yard, this time guarded by Mrs. Peggy's current husband, the famous thug Augie on the street.
Seeing Oreo, Auggie took a cloth bag from the side and threw it into Oreo's hand.
"Lord Oreo, Peggy asked me to give it to you."
"Thank you."
Oreo shook the bag in his ear and continued his way into the field, but was quickly stopped by Auggie.
The tall black man looked apologetic.
"Lord Oreo, I can't let you in, that's what Peggy meant."
"Don't let me in?"
Oreo frowned, counted out ten gold coins from the previous cloth bag, and handed them to Auggie.
"Then I can't accept these gold coins, this is for psychological counseling."
"Counseling?"
Augie didn't dare to take the ten gold coins, after all, no one in the back third street had ever dared to bargain with Lord Oreo.
Oreo shook the ten gold coins.
"Yes, psychological counseling, after all, my service needs to be done in one step, isn't it?"
Under the gaze of a group of prostitutes, Augie quickly lowered his head, and he said respectfully as he stepped out of the way.
"Then I'll trouble you, Lord Oreo."
Peggy's yard hasn't opened yet, and there are only a few maids in it who are doing cleaning.
Seeing Oreo passing through the hall, they didn't show any extra expressions, most of them were surprised.
Through the backyard, Oreo burrowed into the familiar tower.
Surprisingly, the room on the top floor is not locked, and it seems that Mrs. Peggy has figured out a lot of things.
"Mom."
Hearing footsteps behind her, Angelelle quickly stood up from the windowsill, and she quickly recognized Oreo.
β... Mr. Oreo. β
Oreo nodded in acknowledgment and looked Angelyl up and down.
Unlike the usual prostitutes, Angelelle wore a high-waisted skirt often worn by aristocratic ladies, with a half-length blouse over her upper body.
The slender neck is slender, the waist is full of hands, and although the legs under the skirt are a little fleshy, they are a perfect match for Angelil's weak expression.
Such a poor girl, just looking at it can make people feel infinite pity.
Tsk, she's Mrs. Peggy's second ladder.
"Sir," Angelyl lowered her head and quickly brought a stool for Oreo.
Then he sat not far away and asked tentatively.
"What are you doing here?"
It took a while for Oreo to come to his senses from Angelyl's beauty, and he said vaguely.
"Counselling... No, no, no... It's about bounty. β
His hand holding the bag trembled, but he managed to put it in Angelyl's hand.
Taking the bag of gold coins, Angelil glanced cautiously inside, then spoke softly.
"Sir, this is our bounty... But isn't that case unsolved? β
"No, no, no," Oreo seemed to fall in love with, "it's a bonus for bravery, about that night." β
"Theseβ" Angelyl lowered her head, she had never seen so much money in her life, "these are for me?" β
"Yes, it's all for you."
Oreo stood up and walked towards the door as if fleeing, "Miss Angelil, we are destined to meet again." β
"Sir," Angelyl muttered quietly, but Oreo quickly disappeared from sight.
Angelyl hurriedly ran out and yelled at the figure who was going downstairs.
"Oreo Pravor!"
After the figure stopped, she added the last two words. "Sir."
She took a deep breath and plucked up her courage to speak.
"Sir, can you give me some training on the festival day!"
Oreo was silent for a long time, his emerald green pupils like a puddle of water, which was now almost boiling.
Taking off his top hat, Oreo looked up, not knowing if he was looking at Angelyl or the starry sky higher up.
Finally, Oreo said with a big smile.
"Miss Angelyl, there is a fee for additional training, but don't worry, Lady Peggy will pay for it for you."
"It's my own request!"
Angelyl puffed out her mouth as she shook the gold coin in her hand.
"It just so happens that I have money too!"
Oreo climbed the stairs and stood still in front of Angelyl, speaking in Cuaron's usual tone.
"So, as you wish."
He walked past Angelyl into the room, put his top hat on the hanger on the side, and said in a calm tone.
"What do you want to know first, about Grand Day?"
Angelil's purpose was not a grand day at all, but since she had already opened her mouth, she had to ask hard.
"Mr. Oreo, do I really have a chance to become the Black Queen?"
Asking the question, the girl was clearly looking for encouragement, but Oreo didn't do that.
"With my very limited experience, you're still a little way from the Black Queen."
He folded his cuffs up twice, then gestured his arms from top to bottom.
"Miss Angelyl, stand up straight."
Angelyl did as he was told, her body tense and curved, like a verdant fruit.
"Good,"
Oreo walked behind Angelyl and pressed the second knuckle of his index finger against Angelyl's spine.
"Miss Angelyl, you have a little hunchback, and you must correct this bad habit as soon as possible."
Angelyl had never been exposed to a man's body temperature, and her breathing suddenly became rapid.
"Mr. Oreo, Mom said that, but she also said it would make me look weak and ignorant."
"Weakness and ignorance... There's nothing wrong with that. β
Oreo muttered to himself, retracting his hand from Angelil's back.
"But there's one thing she shouldn't tell you, and that's that men want their partners to look good, so at some point you have to be haughty, and at other times, you can play the ignorant and poor girl...... I'm right, Lady Peggy. β
Hearing her mother's name, Angelil instantly held her breath and flewed in place like a goose.
Naturally, Mrs. Peggy saw the previous scene, and if any other man dared to touch her Angelyl with his fingers, she would definitely have sawed off his fingers.
She took a deep breath and commented.
"Yes, you're right."
Agreed, Oreo smiled and walked around Angelil twice, finally satisfied.
"Angelil, play in front of the mirror for two weeks, and you'll be the most eye-catching presence on the celebration day."
Taking the top hat from the hanger, Oreo walked past Mrs. Peggy.
"Then, Lady Peggy, I'll leave the rest to you."
Mrs. Peggy pursed her lips and said nothing.
After the footsteps had completely disappeared on the stairs, Angelyl opened her mouth and whispered.
"Mom, Mr. Oreo doesn't seem to be charging for training."
Peggy closed the iron door, and slowly shook her head through the iron bar.
"He owes me."
