Chapter 17: Posturing (2)
Hearing the familiar voice, Angelyl poked her head out and looked at Sherman.
The corners of his eyes were dark and bloodshot.
Seeing him like this, Angelil was quite satisfied with the few punches she threw last night.
After drinking the cup of tea in front of him, Oreo stood up unhurriedly, and Shi Shiran said.
"On the eve of the celebrations, it is the will of His Majesty the Emperor to thoroughly inspect the factories around Turin, so what is the absurdity of the actions of the Counts-to-be, Earl Salman?"
Sharman turned and looked at the unfamiliar face.
The detective was dressed in an ill-fitting black coat that looked like a clown.
He frowned and said in confusion.
"Who are you?"
"Who am I?"
Oreo looked unhappy, after all, this is not how nobles deal with each other.
Ignoring Sharman, he pointed to the door and commanded.
"Reka, if no one opens the door, then you go and open the door."
Under Oreo's arrogant attitude, Sharman became honest.
After all, he was only an uncanonized quasi-count, and there were many people in Turin that he could not afford to mess with.
But he can't afford to mess with him, he has to complete the task assigned by the man.
Sharman coughed twice and looked at Channing.
"Channing, send someone to bring the key to this door."
Qian Ning nodded in agreement.
"Lord Earl, I've sent someone to fetch the key, he's on his way."
Seeing the two singing and harmonizing here, Oreo rolled his eyes and shouted.
"Reka!"
Reka ran over quickly, staring at the two of them with fierce eyes.
Looking at this battle, Sharman couldn't hold back any longer, he put his arm around Channing's shoulders and said with a smile.
"The person who delivered the key will be here soon, don't be impatient."
Oreo snorted coldly, in response.
The figures of the two quickly disappeared into the depths of the factory, and Oreo turned around and said in a deep voice.
"Have you checked it all here?"
Reka spread her hands.
"Of course not... However, police dogs have been hovering around the area. ”
Oreo nodded.
"Sharman is just a shield, and the mastermind behind it hopes that Sharman can stop us, but I think we have to disappoint him this time."
"The mastermind behind ......"
Reka pursed her lips, "If you have to get to the point where the fish is dead, you have to find someone to carry this black pot for me." ”
Oreo nodded.
"It's nature."
Faintly hearing footsteps, Oreo raised his voice and said.
"Sheriff Reka, when exactly will I be able to go back on my errand?"
Reka understood and said quickly.
"Didn't they go get the keys?"
"I don't have the patience."
Oreo stood up and walked briskly towards the door.
"Sir...... My lord! ”
Salman changed his title, "The person who delivered the keys is coming soon!" ”
Oreo ignored him and commanded Reka.
"Go and kick that door open for me!"
Seeing that Channing and Sharman wanted to stop it, he used his hand to remove the air in front of him.
"Anyone who stands in the way is disrespectful to the Palace, and to me personally!"
With a few simple movements, the momentum on Oreo's body increased sharply.
He stared coldly at Shalman, who held on for a moment before quickly avoiding his gaze.
Channing said in a huff.
"My lord, the person who delivered the key is really coming soon."
"I don't need your horse, and I don't think His Majesty the Emperor needs to."
Oreo repeated.
"Reka!"
Reka had been waiting for this for a long time, and he ran forward as fast as he could, then kicked in the middle of the gate.
The lock trembled violently, but it was clearly some distance away from breaking.
Sharman could see what he wanted to say, but Oreo said first.
"A door, a lock, the City Patrol Bureau will compensate according to the price."
This sentence was tantamount to tearing the skin, and the two of them stood there talking about something, and in the end they didn't intend to stop Reka.
Seeing this scene, Angelil whispered.
"Mr. Oreo, how do you know what's in that door?"
"I don't know."
Oreo moved his lips, "But what's inside has nothing to do with Sharman." ”
Angelil continued to ask.
"You just said who's behind it... What if Sharman is a big shot behind it? ”
Oreo said with a sneer.
"Reka is doing things according to the rules, and the big guys don't dare to go down to say hello in person."
"Bang"!
The door was finally kicked open by Reka, splattering a circle of sawdust.
Reka covered her mouth and nose and walked over to Channing.
"Director Channing, as I said before, we will send someone in, if you are not at ease, please accompany our people to go in together."
Sharman looked worried, but Channing nodded.
His gaze swept over Reka and Oreo, and he spoke.
"Which one went in with me?"
As he spoke, Oreo had already walked in with his hands behind his back, and Channing had to laugh and keep up with Oreo's steps.
This is a fully enclosed factory, and as Channing said, it is indeed a standard of gorgeous furniture, and some of it has been assembled.
Oreo retracted his gaze and said in admiration.
"It's all mahogany, worthy of the royal family's custom-made furniture, and you all want to send samples to the royal family?"
Seeing that Oreo was so knowledgeable, Channing's attitude became more and more respectful.
"Not exactly, part of it is our main furniture, which is sold on Fifth Street."
"Oh."
Oreo nodded, and walked back to the gate down another path.
In addition to the two Kaireka and Sharman, there is one more person in the factory.
It seems that Channing is right, and he really sent someone to deliver the key.
Sharman said in a weird way.
"My lord, did you find anything?"
"Don't worry, I didn't see anything."
Oreo shook his head, explaining as he walked away.
"Angelyl, pay the money for the door and lock to Director Channing."
"Yes."
Angelelle answered, handing Channing the money bag Oreo had given her earlier.
As she walked, she certainly noticed Shalman's gaze, but he certainly didn't recognize herself.
The three of them stopped in front of Reka's carriage, and after breaking away from the agents who were driving the car, Reka hurriedly asked.
"Did you find anything?"
"It's furniture, but they don't look natural, so they must be hiding something."
Oreo paused, turning his head to look deeper into the factory.
"And I found something else."
Reka hurriedly asked.
"What discovery?"
Oreo rolled over his horse and looked down for a moment before he spoke.
"There are still seventeen days until Angelyl's internship ends, and in these seventeen days I will assist her in helping you solve this case, which must be a big case."
"It's the best......
Rayka paused, "But you still haven't told me what you've found." ”
"Help Angelyl get on the horse."
After hastily explaining this, Oreo rode away.
Reka and Angeliel looked at each other for a moment, then pointed at Oreo's back.
"He's always pretending to be mysterious, just get used to it."
Angelyl said worriedly.
"I think Mr. Oreo has something on his mind."
She didn't wait for Reka's help, and stepped onto the horse in two steps.
"Sheriff Reka, goodbye."
Looking at the backs of the two, Reka touched the back of her head, looking inexplicable.
