Chapter 26: Because of Justice
After an unknown amount of time, Tamia was woken up by the sound of people on the street.
She muttered twice, then got out of bed and looked around the room.
Oreo was still asleep.
She smacked twice, found a pair of pants in the utility room, and walked out the door quickly.
Barely two steps down the street, a horse-drawn carriage came galloping in the direction of Ninth Street.
Seeing the carriage, the crowd began to talk.
"The carriage of the Fortang family, is it here to pick up Angely?"
"It's here to pick up Angelyl, and I saw the carriage yesterday."
"It's only been the first day that I've been appreciated by Duke Fortang, Angelil is really good!"
"What nonsense, the Fortang family is responsible for picking up all the Black Queen candidates, what does this have to do with whether or not to appreciate it!"
Tamia tightened her neckline and walked slowly down the street in the direction of the rental house.
After only one day of missing her, Tamia felt that the name Angelyl was unfamiliar.
But that's good.
Tamia comforted herself and prepared to avoid the carriage behind her, but the carriage suddenly stopped.
Angelyl hurried out of the car and let out a piercing scream.
"Tamia! How did you get here! ”
She hurried to Tamya, straightening her neckline and looking at her with concern.
"Mr. Oreo let you run around again, what if someone catches you, he's really ......"
Tamia looked down at Angelil, her delicate little face was painted with heavy makeup, almost as beautiful as the fairies on the frescoes of St. Syvi's Cathedral.
She wears a brown coat over her upper body, and through the neckline, Tamia can see the white dress inside, which is supposed to be used for the show.
And now the hem of the dress has been blackened by the dust on the ground.
"I must teach Mr. Oreo a good lesson when I go back today, how can he let you escape! What if something happens, it's good that he dressed you, or ......"
After tidying up Tamia's clothes and pants, Angelyl raised her head and wiped the red spots on Tamia's nose, which were pimples from eating steak.
Rubbing and rubbing, she suddenly felt that something was wrong, why was Tamia's eyes strange?
"Angelil,"
Tamia spoke suddenly, startling Angelyl.
She pouted, "I'm back to normal." ”
"Back to normal?"
Angelil exclaimed, "That's great, I finally don't have to worry about you eating Mr. Oreo's tofu hehe......"
Seeing the familiar smile spread across Angelil's face, Tamia felt that the previous sense of distance might just be her own illusion.
She lowered her head, took a closer look at Angelil's face, and said from the bottom of her heart.
"Angelil, you're prettier than ever."
Angelyl said embarrassedly.
"The makeup was painted by my mother, and it's all her credit."
She was about to say something, but the coachman coughed twice, and he spoke impatiently.
"Miss Angelil!"
Hearing this, Angelil lifted the hem of her skirt and spoke quickly.
"Sheriff Tamia, then I'll go first, I'll have a day off in two days, and I'll come to play with you!"
"Goodbye."
Tamia waved her hand, and she tried to smile as she normally would, but that smile looked unnatural.
As soon as she climbed into the carriage, Angelyl poked her head out again.
"By the way, Sergeant Tamia, did Mr. Oreo make you breakfast?"
Tamia rolled her eyes.
"He hasn't gotten up yet."
The carriage gradually started, Angelyl muttered.
"I knew it was like that, I'd have my mom bring breakfast later, Sheriff Tamia goodbye!"
"Goodbye."
Tamia waved her hand.
As the carriage gradually left, she laughed heartily.
Angelil is still as simple and cute as ever.
It's just that......
It's just that there are some things she can't figure out.
......
"Bang bang."
It's been a long time since anyone has knocked on the door of the office.
Oreo put down the noodles in his hand and said loudly.
"Please come in!"
Sure enough, the person who entered the door was Tamya.
She wore a high ponytail, sharp eyebrows and eyes, and a heroic appearance.
"It's you."
I thought there was business coming to the door, but I didn't expect it to be Tamya, Oreo pulled his face and continued to fiddle with the noodles in the bowl.
Tamia put her hands on her hips, menacing.
"Hey, what's your attitude?"
She deliberately leaned down to show Oreo the light makeup on her face.
But Oreo didn't even lift his eyelids, he chewed the noodles with a blank face, and his expression was not very beating.
After eating the bowl of noodles, he raised his head and stared at Tamya's face carefully, looking puzzled.
"Tamia, why is the pimple on your nose gone?"
Tamia said through gritted teeth.
"I'm wearing makeup!"
"Oh,"
Oreo replied, adding, "Makeup isn't good for the skin. ”
“......”
Angry to the extreme, Tamia calmed down, and sat down with her chest folded beside Oreo, her tone cold.
"I've brought that thing, I want to see what's in the safe."
"That's fine."
Lowering his fork, Oreo turned his head and asked, "But Tamya, are you sure you want to get involved?" ”
Tamia tilted her head.
"Of course...... What's up? ”
"About Merkel......
Oreo hesitated, but decided to tell the truth.
"Let's be honest, I killed Merkel."
Tamia didn't find it strange, she pouted.
"Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret, does Reka know about it?"
Oreo shook his head.
"He doesn't know."
Tamia smirked.
"So you're treating me as a partner?"
As if he wasn't comfortable with the title, Oreo hesitated for a long time, then stammered.
"I'm in need of a thug lately...... So...... Sort of. ”
Tamia's eyes were about to roll to the sky, she said helplessly.
"Okay, for the sake of being with you, it's more interesting, whatever you want to call it."
"It's not easy."
Oreo pulled out the safe from under his desk and placed it between him and Tamia.
"Don't you want to know why I killed Merkel?"
Tamia said disdainfully.
"Is it because of a certain deal?"
"Nope."
Oreo shook his head and said categorically.
"It's because of justice."
