Chapter 8: Here It Comes

Viscount Borg?

Hearing this familiar name, Angelil hurriedly looked into the courtyard.

Viscount Borg was standing under the tree, staring at Oreo in confusion.

Oreo jumped and continued to shout.

"Viscount Borg, we're detectives on Ninth Street, we met a few days ago."

Hearing the name of the detective, the porter was stunned, and he looked at Viscount Borg suspiciously.

This is the architect hired by Mrs. Andorra, how could he have anything to do with these two police detectives?

Taking advantage of the porter's stunned moment, Oreo pulled the iron door open and ran enthusiastically towards Viscount Borg.

"Viscount Borg, why are you here?"

"Entrusted by Mrs. Andorra to plan a yard for her."

It was evident that Viscount Borg did not want to take care of himself, and after saying hello, he quickly walked away along the boulevard.

Staring at his back, Oreo muttered.

"Angelyl, he seems to have something on his mind."

Angelyl said as she looked around the courtyard.

"Maybe he thinks the two of us are investigating Mrs. Andorra and is afraid to get involved?"

"I don't rule it out."

Oreo tucked his top hat under his armpit and led Angelyl towards the grass beside him.

Angelyl glanced at her newly purchased leather boots, then quickly followed Oreo's steps, and the two of them walked foot deep in the thigh-high grass.

Although it is autumn, the sun is out today, so there are many mosquitoes flying in the grass.

Angelyl covered her mouth and nose and said slurredly.

"Mr. Oreo, what are we doing here?"

Oreo fanned his top hat and stopped, looking back at Madame Andorra's black mansion.

Seeing that he looked serious, Angelyl didn't dare to disturb him, and stared at the house from afar.

After a while, Oreo said.

"Oh, I'm thinking about planning the yard...... This place used to be a horse farm, and I don't know what Mrs. Andorra is going to do with it, playing golf. ”

"Golf?"

Angelyl asked, confused, "What's that?" ”

"That's not the point,"

Oreo waved his hand, "The point is what Madame Andorra is going to do with this land. ”

“......”

Although she couldn't bear to interrupt Oreo, who looked serious, Angelyl still said.

"Mr. Oreo, has nothing to do with today's events, does it?"

Oreo turned around and said with a smile.

"Angely, observation is the most important skill of a detective, and some seemingly irrelevant things may lead to the final truth."

Just when Angelil seemed to understand, he said again.

"I took a general look at Mrs. Andorra's yard, which was on the west side of the main building, and it covered about a third of the yard. Half of the main building has a view of the lawn, and there is no reason why Mrs. Andorra should not mow it.

Even if you plan the yard, you can't say it......"

Oreo quickly walked back down the boulevard, and he looked around the boulevard, and sure enough, he ran into Borg around the corner of the main building.

Borg didn't notice Oreo, who was writing on the paper in front of him with his head down.

Oreo remained silent until Borg put down the drawing board and their eyes met for the first time.

Borg quickly avoided his gaze, then tucked the sketchpad under his armpit.

Oreo turned and pointed to the black main building.

"Lord Viscount, does the Lady of Andorra have any plans to build a new main building recently?"

Borg shook his head.

"It's an antique, and it's one of the most valuable buildings in the whole of Turin."

"That's right,"

Oreo nodded, then pointed to the lawn on the side.

"So what is this place going to do?"

"Mrs. Andorra is going to plan a tea room."

Borg said as he strolled, politely rejecting Oreo's cross-examination.

"A tearoom."

Oreo quickly followed Borg, "Mrs. Andorra's cat has been lost several times recently, and she asked us to find out where the cat came from, I see that you have been wandering around the yard for so long, and I don't know if you have found any omissions, such as gaps in the fence or something." ”

"A gap in the wall?"

Borg slowed down, thought for a moment, and then said.

"Two detectives, whether there is a gap or not, the cat can run out, right?"

"That's true,"

Oreo squeezed out a bitter smile, "But that's what Madame Andorra meant......"

Borg nodded, as if in deep understanding.

"Indeed."

After sending Viscount Borg to the door, and the two said goodbye, Oreo said.

"Angelyl, there's something wrong with this yard."

Angelyl said nervously and curiously.

"What's the problem?"

Noticing the porter standing nearby, Oreo said in a long voice.

"Let's go back first, let's talk slowly."

"Mr. Oreo,"

Curiosity was aroused but could not be explained, Angelyl hurriedly asked. "What's wrong with this house?"

Oreo rolled his eyes.

"This house is so dark that it's unlucky to look at."

As they spoke, the two of them had already walked out into the street.

After walking for a while, Angelyl whispered.

"Mr. Oreo, that porter has been following us just now."

Oreo smiled playfully and didn't look back.

"Maybe there's an interesting thing in this house, and the source of the fun is a cat."

Angelyl added.

"It's still a fake cat."

Oreo nodded his head and took one last look at the sunset.

"Don't worry about it for now, filling your stomach is the most important thing."

It was only then that Angelil noticed that it was now dark, and the sunset was about to sink to the ground.

Why does time pass so quickly?

Angelyl gave Oreo a quick glance and said.

"Okay, let's go to Eighth Street for a full meal."

"Well, I'll pay."

Oreo nodded, adding, "That part will be deducted from your salary, though." ”

"Wages?"

Angelelle was surprised and said, "I still have a daily salary?" ”

Oreo smiled.

"The remuneration of five silver coins a day, of course, there are other cases."

Angelyl stopped and muttered.

"If you can earn one gold coin a day, that's 50,000 days... 5,000 days is more than 100 years...... There's not enough time......"

Oreo walked for a while before realizing that Angelil was not around, and he quickly turned around to see Angelil muttering something to herself.

He didn't bother, just looked at the girl quietly.

Angelyl does look like a police detective in a black trench coat, but why is that stunned expression so cute?

Oreo frowned, but stretched out again, and he shouted in Angely's direction.

"Angelyl!"

"Oh!"

Angelyl jerked her head up, then ran briskly in the direction of Oreo.

"It's coming, it's coming."
