Chapter 8 By the Emperor's Order
Escorted by more than 20 police officers, the carriage slowly drove into the City Patrol Bureau.
Tamia handcuffed Oreo and shoved him out of the carriage before commanding his men.
"Go down, it's none of your business."
Although those subordinates were puzzled, they did not dare to disobey this violent female sheriff, and walked away one after another.
Oreo consciously walked towards the interrogation room, but before he could take two steps, he suddenly saw three figures coming down from the second floor of the City Patrol Bureau, led by a strange man, Reka and Locke following behind him, with a very respectful attitude.
Oops.
Both Tamia and Oreo saw the three of them, and they were just trying to find a place to hide, but Locke had already seen them.
He pointed to Oreo and said firmly.
"Deputy Commander Macon, that's him!"
Macon was talking to Reka, and when he heard Locke's words, he turned his head and stared at Oreo with vicious eyes, and then turned his head and said.
"Sheriff Reka, we also sent someone to arrest him personally, I didn't expect you to bring him over, thank you so much."
β......β
Seeing this desperate scene, Reka almost fainted, and the two were supposed to talk in the director's room, but Macon had to come to the interrogation room to take a look, so he had to take him around.
My original intention was to hide Oreo, but I didn't expect to run into Tamia and Oreo as soon as I turned my head, what kind of bad luck did I fall today!
He said with a smirk.
"Lord Commander, it's good that this person is the person you are looking for, but it's something else that we're trying to get him here."
"Oh?"
Macon wondered, "What's the matter?" β
Tamia was not a fool, she said coldly.
"Commissioned by His Majesty the Emperor, Lord Rackmond has ordered us to capture him."
Macon said in a deep voice, "What you said has nothing to do with me, I only know that he killed an Okassim soldier in the street." Now that the Venada are invading, how can I be determined if I don't punish this person? β
Tamia repeated expressionlessly.
"That's what Lord Rackmond meant."
"I don't care who it is, you have to hand him over to me today anyway."
Macon waved his hand, and his gesture was the usual toughness of a soldier. "If Master Rackmond comes to me and asks for someone, I'll explain it to him."
"Lord Commander,"
"It's true that he's committed a felony, but it's important to find out the Emperor of the Third Street, who exists in Turin for a day, and Lord Rackmond will work for it...... His Majesty the Emperor will also be awake at night. β
Macon said with a frown.
"The Emperor of the Third Street?"
"Yes, Emperor of the Third Street."
Reka took a breath, "You should have heard the rumors that all the underground forces in Turin are under his jurisdiction, and you also said that the invasion of the Venada is imminent, and our city patrol bureau must find out the emperor of the third street as soon as possible to share the worries of His Majesty." β
After a moment of silence, Macon said slowly.
"Sheriff Reka, after all, are you using His Majesty the Emperor to press me?"
Reka was stunned, he even moved out of His Majesty the Emperor, but this person in front of him was still so uninteresting?
Is he really brain-dead, or does he really not take His Majesty the Emperor seriously?
Seeing the Commander's resolute attitude, Locke didn't intend to talk to Reka, he walked quickly to Tamya, trying to snatch Oreo from her, but Tamia quickly stopped him.
"You want to snatch people from the City Patrol?"
Locke snorted coldly.
"Heh, this person is what we want first, little beauty, you get out of the way if you know each other, otherwise you will be arrested and taken to the Military Management Department."
Macon didn't say anything, acquiescing in Locke's move.
Just as the two were at a stalemate, Reka stepped forward.
"We really can't let people go, if the blame from above ......"
Macon wasn't going to ramble on Recardo, he said solemnly.
"If the above blames me, I will be responsible for everything!"
β......β
Reka retracted his flattering expression, and his expression grew serious.
"Deputy Commander Macon, the City Patrol is under the direct jurisdiction of the Imperial Palace, and I, as the acting director, directly obey Lord Rackmond. If you want to take someone from the City Patrol, you have to order me through Lord Rackmond, not directly from the City Patrol, which breaks the rules. β
Macon saw Reka's change in attitude, clenched his fists, and gritted his teeth.
"Reka, I'll ask you one last time, will you let people go today."
Reka said with her head bowed.
"On the orders of Your Majesty, I must find out the Emperor of the Third Street in the near future."
"Okay."
Macon suddenly let go of his fist and strode out, Locke hurriedly following.
"Archon, we ......"
Macon waved his hand, not looking back.
"Batan's revenge will be avenged later, and we will do what we have to do."
Seeing the two go away, Reka finally breathed a sigh of relief, but Oreo's face was getting worse and worse.
He opened the door to an interrogation room and beckoned Reka and Tamya to enter, whispering.
"Reka, looks like I'm in big trouble."
Reka leaned forward and said with an exaggerated expression.
"My friend, I've wiped all your butts for you, but isn't it too exaggerated this time, you killed the soldiers of the Thunder Lion Legion in the street! That man was also the nephew of Rock Centurion! β
"Here's the problem."
Oreo clasped his head in his hands, "I shouldn't have sent Caron out." β
Tamia glanced at the door of the interrogation room, there had been no case in the last few days, and there should not be a sheriff to come to the interrogation room, but she couldn't let up.
After confirming that no one was peeping, she hurriedly said.
"Where did CuarΓ³n go, and what the hell are you talking about?"
Oreo sighed.
"The Venadas have already conquered Lucasso, you know?"
"Know ......"
Reka frowned, he felt as if he had heard the name somewhere, "Lucasor City?" If memory serves......"
Tamia exclaimed.
"Lucasor City! Iron Citadel of the Empire's East! It was actually breached by the Venadas? β
Reka gasped as he remembered the geography of the continent that he had studied for years.
In the previous ten years of continental disputes, the Venada had never broken through Lucasor City, and now it has only been a few days, and it has only been less than three days since the news of the Venada invasion was known, and the Venada have already broken through Lucasor City, right?
"That's not the worst thing,"
Oreo said worriedly, "The worst thing is that the commander just now should be stationed in the imperial capital in turn, he wants to catch the strong men from the back three streets, and then send them to the front line to die, one is cannon fodder, and the other is to rush the military feats." β
Reka naturally knew the seriousness of the problem, and he sighed along.
"Don't worry, my friend, I'll keep you, even if you lose this hat."
"Reka, you're getting the question wrong."
Oreo reiterated, "I don't want them to take people from Back 3rd Street, it's not fair to the people of Back 3rd Street." β
"Lord Oreo!"
Reka spread her hands and her expression was exaggerated, "You can't protect yourself now, are you still thinking about the people on the back three streets?" β
"Aren't the people of the back three streets human?"
Oreo muttered, then stood up.
"My friend, you have to help me with this."
Tamia rolled her eyes, and agreed.
Seeing the two singing and harmonizing, Reka had to say with a bitter face.
"Okay, my friend, I'm from Ninth Street anyway, and it's not far from Back 3rd Street, so helping everyone is helping yourself, isn't it."
