Chapter 7: Good Friend Ge Xin

Even now, in the eight classes of the school year, I have never taken English to anyone except my good friend Ge Xin.

Ge Xin was the first friend I met after I came to No. 1 Middle School, and it was also my best friend.

Ge Xin is the class leader, and she is very good at learning, especially Chinese and English.

Ge Xin's essay is very well written and very literate, which is something that I envy and cannot reach.

What makes me sigh is that her English is also very good, and there seems to be nothing she doesn't know.

In class, Ms. Yin sometimes writes one or two English phrases or sentences on the blackboard that we have not learned.

Then, Teacher Yin began to ask questions by name, and asked us to translate into Chinese, or say the meaning.

The teacher always asks the other students first, and usually the teacher shakes his head and says "No" with a blank face.

When the teacher saw that everyone was gone, he would ask Ge Xin questions, and every time she stood up, she could always say the correct answer.

This is what I admire the most, because there are some questions raised by Mr. Yin that I don't know, but Ge Xin knows them all!

This is not all, the most admirable thing is that Ge Xin is not only good at Chinese and English, but is very strong in every subject, whether it is mathematics, physics, chemistry, or ideology and politics, history, geography, she has learned very well.

Oh, by the way, Ge Xin's sports are also very good, which is in strong contrast to me, a student who meets the sports standards.

Her favorite sport is volleyball, and she often beats her arms red, sometimes with blood spots, but she still enjoys it.

Zhang Dongdong, the representative of the English class in our class, is a short girl with a round face, short ear-length hair, wearing black-framed glasses, very smart and feminine, with a voice a bit like a boy, and her behavior is also full of boyishness.

Zhang Dongdong usually speaks with great humor, in her words, that is: "Ge Xin, why are you so powerful, you are simply not human." ”

Hehe, although I didn't say that, I actually thought so in my heart.

Ge Xin has a small movement, that is, when she is nervous or thinking about a problem, she likes to knead her earlobe with her thumb and index finger.

I play with her every day after class, and over time, I often subconsciously pinch my earlobes.

Once, the school band recruited drummers, and Ge Xin wanted to learn to play the small drums, and I thought it was very handsome, so I signed up with Ge Xin.

Actually, I was a member of the drum band in elementary school, and I played the small drum for several years.

And Ge Xin is a real little budding new, and her earnestness in learning to play the small drum is definitely no worse than learning mathematics and Chinese.

However, perhaps she is a little bit less rhythmic.

Although I accompanied her to memorize the drums and practice after each class, it took her a long time to learn.

I thought to myself, haha, I finally have something better than Ge Xin.

Happy times are always short-lived.

In a blink of an eye, it's time for the sophomore liberal arts class.

Ge Xin finally chose liberal arts, while I chose science, and I stayed in the first class of the second year of high school in my original class, and she was placed in the second and eighth classes of high school.

Good friends who have been inseparable all day have been separated like this, and I have been sad for a long time, and it took a long time to gradually get used to it.

Ge Xin is a boarding student, and she usually eats in the school cafeteria, but if I go home to eat at noon, I don't have enough time, so I will eat in the cafeteria at noon.

In this way, every day at noon, I can see Ge Xin again.

Ah, what a look forward to it!

Finally, the last class of the morning was over.

Yin Yu's home is very close to the school, so she goes home for dinner at noon.

I packed my wallet and meal ticket and walked briskly to the school cafeteria.
