Zhao Kaixuan didn't know how to answer Fei Fei: "Then have you listened to grandma!" ”

Fei Fei nodded seriously: "Yes, I ask the Bodhisattva to bless me every day, but every time it doesn't come true!" ”

Zhao Kaixuan thought for a while: "Fei Fei, can my brother tell you a story?" ”

Fei Fei showed a little excitement: "Okay, okay, I like to listen to stories the most!" ”

Zhao Kaixuan nodded: "On this day, a poor woman suddenly came to the Uncovered Festival, holding two children and a dog, and also came to participate in the Uncovered Festival. However, she had no money to spare, so she temporarily cut off the green silk on her head and gave alms. She said to the presiding monk, "I have urgent business and am about to leave, and I can't eat with the people here, so can I share the food first?"

The presiding monk said, "Yes." So he gave her three portions, intending that they should have one for each of the two children, and the poor girl asked for one for another, saying, "I have something to eat, and my dog should give her a portion." The monk had no choice but to give her another one, but she was still dissatisfied and said, "I have an unborn son in my womb, and I need one too." This made the monk angry, and he lowered his face and said to her, "Why are you so greedy for the monk's food, and the child in your womb has not yet been born, how can you ask for food and share?"

Is there anything that the Father said that he stood and walked? Yes!

About fifteen years ago, I was in the practice department. Once, a man passed away at the Wanli Reservoir, and we went to chant. His wife, who is in her eighties, comes to Jushilin every day. What do you wear when you come? Wear sea green every time. She thinks that we wear sea green very solemnly, so we don't take it off every day, wear sea green when we sleep, walk and go out, and wear sea green when we come to Jushilin to take a car, what a weird person.

She doesn't know anything, but when she sees us knocking on the chime, she also buys it back and knocks it, and recites Amitabha Buddha while knocking all day long...... When I get up in the morning, it's Amitabha, Amitabha...... I read it all the time. I read it for about a year and died.

After she died, her daughter-in-law invited me to her house. I asked, "Is there anything wrong with her?" The daughter-in-law said, "It's not sick, but it's strange." She said, "My mother recites Buddha every day, from 6 o'clock in the morning to 8 o'clock in the morning. I went to the market at seven o'clock to buy groceries, and when I came back, she finished reading. Today, I came back from grocery shopping, and she hadn't finished reading yet. I went to look at her, and I saw her standing with her hands on the table. When I saw her standing, I didn't call her, but went into the kitchen to cook. When I came out at eleven o'clock, I saw that my mother was still standing there; I thought to myself: Why did my mother chant Buddha for so long today? I'll go over and move her and call Mommy! Still not moving. Take a closer look and go! It turned out that he was standing and walking, and his hands were gently holding him. Yes! Standing in the Western Elysium. ”

There is no heart disease or other diseases, people are thin and small, standing and dying, Rui Xiang is rare! It's incredible! Therefore, there are so many examples of reciting the Buddha's past life in Singapore, and I can't say enough about it.

In the judicial circles, there is a sincere and simple Mr. Zhou Dianxiu, who works hard, and is my fellow countryman in northern Jiangsu, but we only met in Taiwan. Mrs. Gao Nianbao is a faithful and devout follower of the Buddha. Husbands and children make a small family full of harmony and prosperity.

In 1958, Mr. Zhou served as the director of the detention center of the Keelung District Court. Unfortunately, the daughter-in-law, who was only eight years old under his knees, had four miscarriages in the past eight years. Inheriting the clan branch, it is hopeless. Therefore, I often sigh for "no queen is great". Every time I see a friend or a neighbor's boy jumping up, that lively and cute look hurts me. Although the couple are emotionally harmonious, sometimes for the sake of Zongtong, they can't help but complain to Mrs. "If you weren't a vegetarian and in poor health, how old would our children be." Because since his wife took refuge in Venerable Chang Zhi, she has recognized the true meaning of compassion and non-killing, and has set out to be a vegetarian for life.

Mr. Zhou believes that vegetarian nutrition is insufficient, which greatly hinders his health, and he thinks that pregnancy and childbirth are affected by nutritional deficiencies. Mr. Zhou studied law and did not study nutrition, so it is no wonder that he has this concept.

In fact, most of the nutrients that sustain life are contained in vegetables, not to mention, in the case of the modern Xuyun Zen Master, his old man lived to be 120 years old before he died, and several meat eaters lived to the age of his old man. Further, modern people who pay attention to health preservation do not avoid meat. The reason is that meat not only does not bring health and happiness to human beings, but also gives human beings endless hidden worries, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, etc., which threaten human life all the time. Therefore, as a result of today's scientific development, meat is no longer an important food in human life, and some people are regarded as beasts of the flood, such as fatty meat. The author has been a vegetarian for nearly fifty years, and he does not seem to be weak and godless, on the contrary, healthier than any meat eater, isn't this a proof of the best recent cut?

The existence of children is purely a matter of cause and effect, not of physical strength. If both men and women have the cause of having children, they will have the fruit of having children. On the contrary, although his physique is as strong as an ox, he still has no news. Those who do not study the principle of cause and effect will find it difficult to fully understand its true meaning.

Mr. Zhou's complaint against his wife, I don't know how Master Chang Zhi learned the news, in order to avoid the discord of a pair of Buddhas, he quietly gave Mrs. Zhou a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, asking her to worship it devoutly. "As long as the milk sincerely asks the Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva will definitely let the milk get her wish." Master Chang Zhi instructed him.

So in addition to taking care of the housework, Mrs. Zhou prayed silently to the Bodhisattva every day. Two months later, one night, I dreamed that her eight-year-old girl, for some reason, suddenly ran to the beach as fast as she could, and was so anxious that if the child ran any further, she would definitely fall into the sea and be swept away by the waves. but they pursued after him in desperation. Suddenly, there was a light in front of him, and one was dressed in white and wearing a white veil on his head. The tall, solemn, and kind-faced lady stood side by side with her little girl in one hand and the baby in the other, as if waiting for someone.

"What a familiar face!" When Mrs. Zhou arrived, she muttered to the lady in white. Mrs. Zhou stared at the lady in white, ready to thank him for saving her daughter, but she gave her the baby boy in her arms without saying a word, and gave her two other fruits for her to take. At this time, Mr. Zhou also hurriedly came, she handed over her little girl to Mr. Zhou, and before she could say thank you, she suddenly saw a flash of white light. The lady in white was gone.

When she woke up, Mrs. Zhou looked at the statue of Guanyin she had enshrined. It was exactly the same as what I saw in my dream. It is incredible that a little sincerity can move the Buddha and saints. The next day, Mrs. Zhou told Venerable Chang Zhi what she had seen in her dream, "Congratulations, Mrs. Zhou, it must be Guanyin Bodhisattva who gave her a child to milk." Master Chang Zhi said hello to Mrs. Zhou with confidence.

Sure enough, in the first month of 1959, Mrs. Zhou finally gave birth to a chubby and cute boy. The Lotus Sutra says, "If a woman desires a man, and prays to Avalokiteshvara, she will give birth to a man of merit and wisdom." Isn't Mrs. Zhou's story the best piece of evidence?

The following is the process of Mrs. Zhou being blessed by the Bodhisattva and giving birth smoothly:

Venerable Zhi Shan, the abbot of Keelung Buddhism Lotus Society, is a great monk, "Hongfa is for housework, and life is for career", and he has truly done it. Mrs. Zhou was very respectful to him.

"The child was given by the Bodhisattva, don't forget to repay the Buddha's kindness, please drink the full moon, and it is best to use vegetarian dishes, so as not to lose the soul." Master Zhi Lin reminded Mrs. Zhou with a serious attitude. "Yes, Master," Mrs. Zhou replied earnestly. But I couldn't help muttering a little in my heart, because Mr. Zhou didn't understand the causal principle of vegetarian disaster avoidance, and he would never agree to use vegetarian dishes to feast guests. I was very distressed that if both parties insisted on their own opinions, it was likely to destroy the harmony of the family. She thought about it again and again, and had to ask the Bodhisattva to make proper arrangements for her. So he burned incense in the morning and prayed in the hope that the Bodhisattva would have mercy. Give her husband the wisdom to wholeheartedly adopt the advice provided by Master Zhi Shan. Until the eve of childbirth, it was prayed like this.

One night, Mr. Zhou sent her to the hospital, where she stayed for three days, and the dozen or so women who went in with her had gone home, and she was the only one lying on the delivery bed with her stomach. According to the attending physician, it may be a difficult birth. At this time, in addition to labor pains, she also added a layer of fear, which was really sad. On the same day, the doctor made a final examination and said, "I can't give birth tonight, so let's see again tomorrow." The maternity ward of the hospital is usually closed to men. At this time, because she had not given birth for a few days, the nurses were a little impatient, so they said to Mr. Zhou, "Mr. Zhou, there are no other mothers anyway, you can come in and accompany your wife!" So there were only the two of them in the delivery room, and Mrs. Zhou took the opportunity to say to her husband, "Venerable Zhishan said that the child was given by the Bodhisattva, and we must make a wish that the full moon will not kill, and our mother and child will be safe!" Before he finished speaking, Mr. Zhou jumped up and said, "If you say that your wife is a vegetarian there, it is strange that you should ask the guests to be vegetarian too, so you don't get laughed at!" At this time, Mrs. Zhou's stomach hurt very badly, so she said angrily, "You don't want your child to be full moon and not kill, but you want to see me die, don't you?" No, no, don't talk nonsense, I think milk is too superstitious, how can a bodhisattva care so much?" Mr. Zhou explained in a hurried tone. Mrs. Zhou was sweating profusely at this time, and it seemed that the pain was unbearable. When he saw this, he couldn't help but get anxious, so he quietly approached the window, knelt on his knees, and prayed sincerely, saying, "If the Bodhisattva really has a spirit, let my wife give birth to the child peacefully tonight, and give a vegetarian feast on the full moon, and never kill any living beings." The name of Guanyin has been recited. When I stood up, I went to ask the nurse. "Mr. Zhou, don't worry, the doctor said that it won't be born tonight." Miss Nurse said as she walked. When he approached Mrs. Zhou's side, he suddenly exclaimed, "Alas! Why the child has come out!" He didn't even wash his hands, so he picked up the child in a panic and said, "Congratulations, Mr. Zhou, it's a man." He kept shaking his head and said, "Strange." Mr. Zhou was so happy that he went to the temple early the next morning to burn incense and asked Venerable Zhishan to name his newborn son.

Time flies, more than ten years have passed in a blink of an eye, and this child is now in middle school.

At the Lotus Conference, the Buddha told the Bodhisattva of Endless Intentions, "Good man, if there are hundreds of billions of sentient beings suffering from all kinds of afflictions, and when he hears that it is Avalokiteshvara, and he is single-mindedly named, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva will be liberated by observing the sound of his voice immediately." The inspiration of the Bodhisattva is incredible.

Everyone in the world today is in a state of suffering, and if you want to be liberated, you must recite the Nam Mu Great Pessimistic Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva with one voice.
