Chapter 132: After the Meteorite (End) "Excerpts from the Important Books of the Ancient Kingdom of Sulasi"

Selected Readings of the Ancient Kingdom of Sulasi [Chapter 8]

I. Introduction

Chapter 8 is also the last chapter of the book, and the next chapter is a summary of the book.

In fact, three of the four books listed in Chapter 8 deviate from the period of the Old Kingdom of Sulasi, and they were written after the fall of the Old Kingdom, which belongs to the intermediate period.

However, these four books are inextricably related to the Old Kingdom, and many chapters are related to the Old Kingdom, so here I will include the four books to be introduced in Chapter 8 of this book.

These four books are "Stories of the Rest of My Life", "Miscellaneous Records", "Experiences of the Rest of My Life: Continuation" and "Tim's Collected Poems".

When it comes to these four books, it is impossible not to mention the two people who have a great relationship with these four books, they are also the two people who made the greatest contribution to the literature of that era in the last years of Sulasi and the early years of Geshuge.

They are: Nishil Sue Neomidal Kalther Tallinnton Kale Myrdal Doleiman, and Tim Sue Novara New Tulabi [Nyshil and Tim].

Nischel's main contribution is to continue to organize "The Rest of My Life" and "Miscellaneous Records", and with her adopted son Dante, she continued to write the three books "The Rest of My Life: Continued".

As for Tim's main contribution to literature, it was the standardization of the Sulassie grammar of the Goshoge era, and under his influence, the group represented by him ushered in the golden age of Goschuge's early poetry.

Tim wrote a lot of poems, but he didn't bother to sort them out himself. Fortunately, he was the same era as Nimuel, and had a close relationship with Nimuel, so Nimuel collected Tim's poems many times, making a significant contribution to the survival of Tim's poems to this day.

II. The Life of Nishier

Nishir, a nobleman born in the Myrdal region in 1101 A.D., should belong to the Glory nobility according to the division after the promulgation of Solit's new policy, and her family had already declined when Sushi was rising.

In "The Rest of My Life: Continued", Nishier rarely recalls her childhood, but through the current sporadic historical materials, it can be seen that Nishier's childhood was not rich, and if it wasn't for his father's death in the line of duty, Nishier would not have become an official student of Xingqimu at all.

Because of the second closure of Xingqimu Academy, some "unimportant" historical materials have been lost, and it is no longer possible to find Nishier's record in Xingqimu.

However, according to Nichel's own account, she enrolled in the 1117 calendar and studied for only three years, and by 1120, she was forced to be conscripted because of the outbreak of the Myrdal Recapture Campaign.

In this very important battle, Nishiel was always a logistics officer and did not make any notable contributions. After the battle, Nimuel was unable to return to Myrdal due to public security, and stayed in Doleiman for a while, and after the promulgation of the new policy of Solit, Nishiel became a subordinate of other nobles and went to work in the suburban estates.

It wasn't until 1127 that Nishiel adopted Dante David, and after obtaining the consent of the Patron, Nimuel took Dante Davy and began to roam the land, and now there are many places where Nimuel's footprints are left.

Even when the last battle before the Restoration Peace, the Battle of Hipari, broke out, Nishil, who had expected it, took Dante to the battlefield in person, talked to Surifer many times, and was received by Dom, leaving a lot of precious historical materials for this battle.

Even small things, such as the death of Suriver's natal mount Hum during the battle, and the process of Surifer writing the epitaph for Hum, were also recorded impartially by Nichel.

After that, after the peace between the two sides, Nishir went into the land of Sushi to investigate, and visited the whole of Miasena, so that the people of Goschug could see what had become of Miasena (formerly the region of Napolica), which had been absent for more than three hundred years.

In the year 1158 of the Great Calendar, at the invitation of the new head of the academy and the former chief priest of Surassi, Solit, the 57-year-old Nishir entered the Xingqimu Academy and became the special enshrinement of the academy.

Nishiel refused the worship room assigned to him by the Academy, and insisted on living in the open space to the west of the Academy, which, according to Nishiel's records, was the utility room assigned to her forty years ago.

After forty years of going around and around, Nigel is back where she was.

In her later years, Niguel once again lived the same life as she had forty years ago, waking up in the morning with the sun and eating yellow bread (the only place Nimuel was willing to change) to go to class—but now she was going to teach her students, and to make time to go to the house where she was enshrined to give Dante a reminisce about the past.

After 21 years of worship, Nisil became the first dean of the Xingqimu Academy in the nearly 1,000-year history of the academy who had not been an official.

After 6 years as the head of the Xingqimu Academy, Suriver passed away at the age of 91, and after hearing the news, Niguer said, "Is I the only one left", and then resigned from the position of the head of the Xingqimu Academy, and returned to her house to continue living.

Three years later, Nishiel died at the age of 88, and after Nishier's death, Dante left the Academia of Xingqimu.

III. The Life of Tim

Tim Sue Novara-Neu-Turabi, the most prominent poet of Gauschorg, is the most prominent poet of Gausch. XX's mentor single-handedly caused the poetry of Goshy.

He was born in the main city of Tulabi in 1097 and belonged to the middle and lower class aristocracy, so he did not go to the star and did not complete his studies properly, because his studies were interrupted by the battle of Aix, which took place in 1111 A.D.

Because of the fiasco at the Battle of Aix, Surassi began to look for those responsible, and a large number of those responsible were implicated at that time, and Tim's father was one of them.

After the blame was settled, the high-ranking Bell of the Tim family was imprisoned, and Tim's life fell from the top to the bottom, and they couldn't get along in Turabi.

In desperation, Tim follows his mother to her maiden home, Myrdal.

Tim was not happy in Myrdal, and according to the poems he later wrote, it is certain that he was subjected to some abuse and discrimination, so he fled in a fit of rage.

Considering the chaos of Sulassie at that time, Tim's decision was very courageous.

Tim's life after he escaped, until he went to Xingqimu, was very vague, including how he survived and how he met Nishier, it was not clear. Only he wrote down the psalms, which can confirm where he has been.

As a result, some scholars have speculated that Tim may have become a bandit, but this is not the scope of this book.

In short, judging from the collection of poems, Tim's wanderings are very wide, from Myrdal to Hippari, there are traces of Tim. And, although Tim was not at the top, he knew the situation very well and covered the meaning of each battle.

For example, Tim's famous psalm, Surassie's funeral hymn.

Ax opens the passage of the River Styx, and Myrdal tells us to jump off the River Styx, and it is Sparry Surifer who sings on the banks of the River Styx.

In this poem, the situation of the fall of Sulasi is judged very accurately.

Regardless of where Tim had wandered and where he lived was unclear, after 1163, on the recommendation of Nigsil, the 66-year-old Tim became a general enshriner of the Xingqimu Academy, and the poetry boom that began in 1175 was promoted by the students taught by Tim.

However, Tim could not see this day anymore, he had died in 1173, and Nichel wrote an epitaph for Tim herself, which can still be seen today.

3. "What I Saw and Heard in the Rest of My Life", "Miscellaneous Records" and "What I Saw and Heard in the Rest of My Life: Continued"

The original author of the book "What I Saw and Heard for the Rest of My Life" was Lauerma, and the text mainly records his experience as a priest, as well as his experience in Xingqimu after retirement, as well as the customs and customs of Sulassie at that time.

However, because Laurma stayed in Xingqimu Academy in his later years, and he always came into contact with high-level people, coupled with the fact that "The Rest of My Life: Continued" Zhuyu was behind, the popularity and practicality of this book were not high.

However, "What I Saw and Heard in the Rest of My Life: Continued" focuses more on the description of the lower class of Sulasi in the 11th century, while "What I Saw and Heard in the Rest of My Life" is more about the description of the upper class of Sulasi at that time.

"What I Saw and Heard for the Rest of My Life" was not written in order, but from a long time ago, it was written down in the form of a diary by Lauerma, and then it began to be sorted out after going to Xingqimu Academy.

But one thing to note is that after going to Xingqimu, Lauerma is more to sort out "Miscellaneous Records", so the sorting speed of "What I Saw and Heard in the Rest of My Life" is very slow, and Lauerma has been supplementing, and after Lauerma's death, "What I Saw and Heard in the Rest of My Life" has not been completed.

Laughma vomited blood and died in a fit of anxiety when she heard about the Sparry Contract, and all his unfinished manuscripts were forwarded to Dante's adoptive father, who continued to sort them out.

Before the death of Dante's adoptive father, the "Rest of My Life" had been basically completed, and then Nishiel continued the final compilation, which was completed in 1130 A.D. and published in 1161.

The energy spent on "Miscellaneous Records" is greater than that of "What I Saw and Heard for the Rest of My Life", whether it is Lauerma or Nishier.

When Laurma was compiling the "Miscellaneous Records", she mainly collected materials from the library of Xingqimu Academy, the place where Sulasi had the most books, and then compiled it.

After Lauerma's "Miscellaneous Records" was handed over to Nishier, according to Nimuer's introduction in "The Rest of My Life: Continued", her main job in the second half of her life was to travel to Sulasi in person, and to check whether the knowledge mentioned in the "Miscellaneous Records" was reliable.

The book has been edited, and even after Nishier became the enshrinement of the Xingqimu Academy, he continued to write tirelessly, and it was not until 1184 that the "Miscellaneous Records", known as the world's first encyclopedia, was officially finalized and published.

At this time, it has been almost eighty years since the "Miscellaneous Miscellaneous Records" began to collect materials.

"The Rest of My Life: Continued" is a supplement to "Miscellaneous Records", as well as Nichel's own diary of travels.

However, the diary is limited to the early days, but by the later stages, Nichel rarely writes about herself.

This diary, which was much easier to organize than the former because of the foreshadowing of the "Observations of the Rest of My Life" in the front, was published together with the "Observations of the Rest of My Life" in 1161.

4. "Tim's Psalms"

The actual publication of "Tim's Psalms" was not actually in the Old Kingdom era, but after the New Kingdom of Surassi, in order to enhance the self-confidence of the famous people, he excavated it from the old pile of old paper and published it together.

But all of Tim's poems published in the Tim Psalms are all excerpts from the Rest of My Life, so I won't go into detail here.

Tim's poems have also suffered from the cold now, because only if you read his poems aloud in the ancient Sulasi language of Tim's time, you will find that his poems are catchy and neat, and they are rare good poems.

After being translated into the current language, Tim's poems have lost most of their charm, so it is not surprising that some people think that Tim's poems are not as beautiful as the legend.
