Eighty-eighth: There is a concept of a lot of people

The sound of the waves is a little disturbing, and it seems to beat people's hearts for a while. The surface of the sea was so blue that it was impossible to see what was in the unknown ocean floor. Perhaps this is where the fear of the deep sea comes from, people are always afraid of the unknown.

On the pier by the sea, there are no ships at Pier 10 today, and the goods are piled up in a mess, and no one carries them, which is quiet and weird.

When Lawrence and first arrived, there was no one on the docks.

"Bump. Closing the door of the police car, Lawrence stepped out of the police car and looked around the pier.

There was nothing on the empty pier except for the seagulls flying over the sea not far away.

Lawrence touched his shoulder, the wound on his back was not yet healed, although it was not visible because of the evil covering, but it was still aching.

Chu followed behind Lawrence, holding a black pistol in his hand, which Lawrence had given her, saying just in case.

She wouldn't use it, though.

Chu took the pistol and looked through it, his eyes were on the dark muzzle, and he couldn't see anything inside.

Lawrence looked at Chu and guessed something: "Will you use this thing?"

"No, it won't. Chu shook his head as a matter of course, feeling unashamed.

But for her, all weapons are indeed the same, yes, whatever can be held in her hand can be counted as weapons.

"Is that how it works?" he held the pistol behind his back, like a hammer.

After glancing at Hatsu and making sure that Hatsu wasn't joking, Lawrence withdrew his gaze and said dryly.

"Use whatever you like. โ€

As long as he can solve the problem, sometimes he really suspects that he has summoned a primitive person.

In fact, there is no way, who let her only learn the language of this world when she was first summoned, and that voice did not teach her the common sense of this world.

Without thinking about whether or not he would use a gun in the first place, Lawrence put his hands in his pockets and walked slowly towards the docks.

The sea is calm and windless, because the storm is coming.

The seagull flapped its wings and fled, flying into the clouds.

On a shore facing the sea, Lawrence stopped because he saw the skinny man standing there.

Rose, dressed in a gray trench coat, with a cane, and the one-eyed giant Ham standing beside him, it was clear that they were in a group.

Rose touched his funny beard, a faint smile in his mouse-like eyes.

Thinking that he had succeeded in fooling Lawrence, Lawrence would be shocked, though he would scold him for being vile and shameless, and at the end he would kneel on his knees and beg for mercy.

What he likes most is this transformation of man, which is enough to satisfy his narrow and vile heart.

"Smack. โ€

Rose clapped his palms briskly, and then dozens of street thugs with armed weapons stepped out from behind the cargo boxes on the docks, surrounding Lawrence and Hatsutuan.

Rose's tiny eyes looked at Lawrence, who was ready to take in the officer's expression.

But to his surprise, Lawrence and Chu were not surprised, nor panicked, but just watched him and Ham quietly.

There was a silence in the atmosphere.

"Mr. Officer, don't you have anything to say?"

Rose asked out loud without giving up, perhaps because of his gaffe, which made his beard a little messy.

Lawrence didn't even look at Rose, he looked straight at Ham and said with a smile.

"I don't know if you remember me, you had my right hand broken two months ago, Ham. โ€

"Huh?" Ham, who was standing beside Rose, raised his eyebrows, as if surprised.

But then, he grinned at Lawrence.

"I've broken a lot of people's hands, and I'm sorry I probably can't remember you. โ€

"But today I should remember you. โ€

Ham said, taking a step forward, clasping his hands together and moving his wrists.

"Because I'm ready to pinch your neck. โ€

As he spoke, he showed his shark-like teeth and a hideous smile on his face, looking down at Lawrence, a huge shadow covering his body.

Lawrence looked at Ham for a moment, but did not respond.

He lowered his head, unhurriedly took out a pack of cigarettes from his bosom, and took out one and put it in his mouth.

Then he took out the lighter from his pocket and held it to his mouth with his hand.

"Smack. โ€

The flames that glowed orange-yellow pulsed and lit the cigarette in Lawrence's mouth.

Lawrence took a deep breath, and on the butt of his cigarette, the spark burned the tobacco.

Ham didn't interrupt Lawrence, and he didn't mind letting the officer smoke the last cigarette of his life.

Lawrence looked up and slowly blew the smoke out of his mouth.

A gust of sea breeze blew, and the smoke was blown away, melting into the fog of the foggy capital.

"Huh. Half-tilted his head, Lawrence grinned, a smile full of mockery, and he didn't know if it was Ham's or his own.

After laughing, he said in a deep voice.

"At the beginning, kill them all. โ€

It's hard to believe that this is the words of a police officer.

Chu looked around and said to Lawrence blankly.

"Is that the kind of people you're talking about?"

For her, the dozens of people around here are really not much, after all, she is the one who came out of that wasteland.

Lawrence glanced at Chu Chu, smiled and sighed.

"Please don't look at things from your monster perspective, that's a lot for ordinary people. โ€

The conversation between the two left Ham and the thugs on the side stunned, and neither of them could react to what the two men were talking about.

Lawrence turned around, took the cigarette in his mouth, and looked at Hatsu.

"Fix it as soon as possible, is there enough time for a cigarette?"

"Enough. Chu nodded, and walked towards One-Eyed Ham.

"Then I'll wait for you. โ€

Lawrence and Hatsu rubbed shoulders past each other, with their backs to the shore of the docks, smoking their cigarettes with their heads bowed.

"You guys. The corners of Ham's mouth twitched, and he looked at Chu who was coming, and his eyes stretched out his palm fiercely.

"Are you looking down on me!?"

He was going to grab the woman's head, which he believed he could do with his grip.

His self-confidence is not without reason, his strong body is like steel, his muscles are more like molten iron, and the powerful strength of his body is the foundation of his foothold in this city.

So he had confidence, and the thin woman in front of him posed no threat to him at all.

The huge palm of the hand was mixed with the wind and grabbed the top of the first pair's head.

But the next moment, Ham was stunned, because his giant hand was actually caught by the woman.

The woman's slender palm was only the size of his palm, which made the two of them a stark contrast.

What should have been an overwhelming force was reversed.

"I'm sorry. Holding Ham's palm, he said, "I don't have much time. โ€

With that, her palms began to strain.

"Ahh

The one-eyed giant, screaming under the terrified gaze of the people around him, fell to his knees.

Blood flowed through the docks, and Lawrence, with his back to the shore, spat out a faint smoke from his mouth.
