Premise 5: Star Alliance's "Lifeguard"

"The 'Lifeguard' type humanoid weapon created by the Star Alliance in imitation of the Eagle Yang style is a disaster."

— Commentator Massimo Gebi

"Modeling"

Because large areas of the body are painted orange to resemble life jackets, this humanoid weapon is known as the "lifeguard". The name also alludes to the need for a "lifeguard" for the Covenant, which was torn apart after the defeat of the Battle of Carthage.

The main colors of the lifeguards are orange and white, and in order to speed up production, there are no superfluous decorations on the body, so it is also jokingly referred to as a cheap children's toy (interestingly, before the Battle of Carthage, the Covenant executives often ridiculed HER's eagle as a toy).

The most distinctive feature of the lifeguard is its glass mask that covers the entire face, and under the mask are several cameras. Because the "lifeguard" was made after the war, in order to save the time of training the driver and quickly put it into the front line, the lifeguard is equipped with a plural camera system to facilitate the driver to find the enemy in the dark universe, and this system is also one of the few highlights on the "lifeguard".

"Armament"

Machine guns, thermal sabers, grenades, bazookas.

《Development Process》

The "Battle of Carthage" showed the world the strength of humanoid weapons, and in order to save the defeat, the Star Alliance quickly began its own research and development of humanoid weapons.

But their development work can be described as twists and turns, first of all, in order to shortcut the high-level use of the deception of HER Keanu. Data and drawings provided by Dr. Lang. But these data are all wrong, so that Star Alliance has lost a lot of time on test data and drawings, and finally has to completely reverse and start again.

Although they have seen the combat effectiveness of humanoid weapons, there are still many old-fashioned elements in the upper echelons of the Star Alliance. Under their indiscriminate command, the first batch of Star Covenant humanoid weapons that left the factory actually required two people to pilot like fighter jets, and the cockpit space was also the same as that of fighter jets, and the internal space was very small. In addition, the armor technology of the first batch of Star Covenant humanoid weapons is not yet mature, and in front of the Eagle Yang machine gun gun, it is simply papery. In this way, the first batch of humanoid weapons still went to the battlefield, and the results speak for themselves.

As a result, the Star Alliance had to start over again, and they set up a new humanoid weapon development department, and during the research period, they also obtained more information and technology of the Eagle Flyer, so as to develop a "lifeguard" that is simpler than the Eagle Flyer, but easier to mass-produce.

In actual combat, the lifeguard is a younger brother in front of the more complete Eagle Style, but its scalability is very high. In order to make up for the performance gap, the units that received the lifeguards "magically modified" their bodies with parts they had collected or captured. Because of this, although the standard outfit of the lifeguards is orange-red, many units have their own colors and styles.

As the war lengthened, the performance of the lifeguards in the later production was almost the same as that of the Eagle Flyer.

Derivative

Because of the easy scalability of lifeguards, many resourceful forces have manufactured or modified many high-performance derivative models. The representative is the first humanoid weapon that can carry out laser long-range sniping "Hundred Steps", and the "Reckless Cavalry" under the North American Rescue Alliance.
