Chapter 127: Capturing the Radar Destroyer (3)

A Destroyer as large as a fly lay on the back of my mount's staple armor, pinned so firmly that it would not fall off no matter how much it swayed as it advanced.

He was in the front half of the back of the stag armor, and I and the rest of the crew were on the middle platform, very short distance from each other.

The gigantic destroyer initially seemed to be trying to attack the fragile neck of the staple armor, and his head was facing the direction of the stag armor's neck, as the two pilots commanding the staple armor's head were ready for a desperate battle.

I saw them abandon their reins, undaunted by the terrifying figure of the Destroyer, trying to protect my mount.

I hurriedly used the friction sound and smell information to order the Divine Envoy King warriors around me to come forward to support, and I couldn't let the two of them fight alone.

At this point, the Destroyer seemed to sense something, causing him to give up the opportunity to subdue the stag armor, give up the hand, and quickly turn around to face us.

He turned around very quickly, and only then did I see his hideous face, and I could see the reflection of me in the huge compound eyes.

The pair of compound eyes were greedy and bloody, and they were no different from the eyes of the predators I had seen before who preyed on the weaker creatures.

It seems that, in the eyes of the Destroyer, I and we are just prey, not ants of other races, not opponents, not enemies.

This makes me angry with you, I am the invincible Great Divine Envoy King's subordinates, I am the only one who looks at other beings this way, and I will not allow him to look at me like this!

My stag armor seemed to notice something unusual on its back, and it began to shake its body, and I knew it was trying to fight back.

However, it was helpless in the face of an enemy firmly nailed to its back, just like me.

Facing such a large and terrifying figure at close range, even if I was angry, even if I was disgusted, I couldn't do anything about the trembling feeling inside my body, and for the first time in my life, I felt that death was so close.

I am not afraid of death, I am the King of Glory, and the best place for a king is to die in battle.

However, I never imagined that my enemy, the enemy who would kill me, would be so huge, terrifying, and unstoppable as a collapsing mountain.

The Destroyer was too close to me, and when it turned, its jaws were close to me, and the foul smell that permeated it passed from my tentacles into my mind, becoming a more tangible threat.

His tentacles quivered, and he fumbled around as fast as we did.

But, so close, the Destroyer was already aiming at me without tentacles, his compound eyes staring at me.

From the time he turned around, to the time he faced me, to keep an eye on me, it was only a short time, not enough time for me to quickly suck a small drop of honeydew, not enough for a fly to cross a small circle in the air, not enough for a grasshopper to leap to the ground.

But enough of the Destroyer turned around and prepared to attack.

Death has never been so close to me.

The valiant Divine Angel King warriors beside me will not be intimidated by any enemy, and the grinding sound of my "attack" command has just stopped, and the smell message is still permeating my side.

My guards continue to follow the commands of sound and smell, needless attacks, even if the enemy is as large as a stone.

The stag armor mounts had limited space on their backs, and several valiant Divine Messenger King warriors stepped forward, but the Destroyer was facing them, which was the most difficult side to attack.

I could only watch as the attack was destroyed by the Jaws of the Destroyer, the corpses and blood of the valiant warriors covered the backs of the stag armor.

The Destroyer continued to stare at me, his forefeet raised, ready to move.

From the time he jumped on the back of the stag armor, to the time he turned, to the moment he killed several fighters, and finally to the time he started moving, it all happened in a very short time.

My men guarding behind the stag armor haven't had time to arrive, and there's nothing around me to stop the Destroyer.

There are no warriors who can protect me, obviously on our battlefield, but at the moment I am indeed alone!

I'm ready, I'm ready to die heroically, it's my honor.

I will not be like the dying Divine Envoy King warrior, wielding his jaws for the last resistance, that is the glory of the warrior, not the commander's.

As a commander, I don't have to fight myself, I don't have to fight to the end, I just have to wait quietly for death to come.

But death did not come.

Just before the Destroyer could bend his limbs and prepare for a ferocious lunge, a long horn stabbed from diagonally behind.

The attack came from the blind spot behind the Destroyer, and when he found out, it was too late to make a dodge in time. The unreactive Destroyer was slammed into the air by the massive horns, flying directly onto a medium-sized beetle to my right, knocking over several of the Divine Envoy King warriors on their backs.

My spade armor turned to catch up, and my jaws firmly gripped the abominable Destroyer, giving him a fatal end of being cut in half.

It was only then that I came to my senses and looked to the left—it was my esteemed Captain of the Rolling Legion who had saved me.

The two-pronged rhinoceros beetle (one-horned fairy) he personally commanded flew the destroyer in time to save me and my mount.

I can't express my gratitude, it's too far away for my way of exchanging information to be useful.

But there was no need to thank the commanders, the unicorn fairy of the Rolling Legion Commander adjusted his body and continued to move forward, and I also commanded the stag armor to continue the battle.

The enemy was so powerful that its huge body seemed invincible, and dozens of elite foot warriors besieged it would cost a lot of casualties to kill an enemy.

Even medium-sized beetles have a hard time fighting the Destroyer - they are only slightly inferior in strength to medium-sized beetles, but their fighting skills and physiology are better than medium-sized beetles.

Fortunately, the medium-sized beetle has an assisting warrior behind it, and with a unified command, they can work together to suppress a destroyer.

And small beetles can even fall prey to the Destroyer's jaws if they are not careful.

The only ones who can crush the Destroyer are the three giant beetles in the center of our battle line, a two-pronged rhinoceros beetle, and two stag beetles.

This is the mount of the Roll Legion, myself, and another comrade, and we do our best to avoid the threat of the enemy trying to climb the back armor, using the size and weapons of the mount to overwhelm the enemy and create opportunities for the accompanying warrior or other beetles.

Our three huge mounts are in the legion, like a warrior's jawknife, only responsible for breaking and cutting, and the rest of the work is naturally assisted by the remaining teammates.

The enemy is strong, the enemy is tenacious, but there are few enemies.

Fifty Destroyers didn't pose much of a threat to us, and they were quickly defeated individually.

Now, there's only one Destroyer left—the giant radar destroyer with long tentacles!
