Chapter 1257: Rest in the Silent Night (34)
At the same time (?), the base of the Knights of the Western Heavens, Fort Eten, in the infirmary.
The strange whisper of the scanner accompanied by the scanning light swept through Bediwell's body, making the werewolf youth lying in the machine not only uncomfortable, but also bored and drowsy.
What the hell are you doing, Bedeville?, the werewolf wondered. In order to borrow that death-stupid metal detector from the stupid fish-man prince Tristan, you agreed to such a death-stupid deal. Now, you, who are smart all your life, are lying in this stupid metal cylinder, undergoing this stupid physical examination. Who knows how long this stupid scanner will last?
After all, how long has it been? It's been so long to scan, it's over, right?!
"Uh, doctor?" Bediwell waited for a long time before he asked, "How long is it going to be scanned?" No one answered.
"Doctor?" Thinking that his voice was drowned out by the sound of a machine, the werewolf raised his voice by five decibels and repeated, "Get me out!" Damn it. Could it be that guy has a "big life event" to do and walked away for the time being?
Bediwell frowned, and waited patiently for about three minutes. However, he didn't hear anyone coming in and out of the room. Well, it may be a real "big" thing in life, and this time it may take longer.
Bediwell frowned again, and waited patiently for about ten minutes, and then the bruises on his forehead appeared, and he couldn't wait any longer, and began to puff up his breath and yell, "Hey, is there anyone outside?!" The damn old medic couldn't have fallen asleep because the surveillance scanner was so boring?
The young werewolf couldn't wait any longer, and he tapped the inner wall of the scanner: "Doctor, wake up, let's-me-from-this-out!!" without replying. They were already shouting at this volume, and the dead old man was either deaf or too dead asleep to hear. Either way, it doesn't seem like it's impossible to get out of here just by shouting.
Bedeville looked around, trying to find a way out of the damn metal cylinder. If you use brute force to destroy this scanner, you should theoretically be able to escape. The problem is that this machine is running, and the inside is full of radioactivity, and God knows if destroying its inner walls will cause a radiation leak? (and it doesn't seem good to damage the Knights of the West) Well, the only way to get out of here is where Bedeville came in, which is the small door at the end of the metal bed where the werewolf is lying. It was currently tightly closed, but with proper force, Bediwell might be able to pry it open without damaging any of the scanner's functions.
Of course, he had to use his feet. The metal cylinder was so narrow that the werewolf couldn't turn around as he lay there. He had to awkwardly use his foot to tease the crack of the metal door, hoping that it would not close firmly and that he could easily kick it open with his foot. But the stupid wolf regretted it the moment he kicked it, and he only felt a sore heel in his heel, and then a tingling pain spread along the nerves all over his body, and all at once his scalp was numb.
It's really not a good idea to kick it. Still, the small metal door opened a little crack. So Bediwell awkwardly toed the slit with his toes, and managed to open the gap in the little door wider, but once again he regretted it—some kind of gas seeped in from outside the door.
The light inside the metal cylinder was dim, and the only light that could be used for illumination was the light of the scanners that shone back and forth on Bedwell's body. Thankfully, the werewolf's silver fur reflected the light to the maximum, allowing Beddevil to barely see the gas seeping in.
"What??" Bediwell was immediately upset, and protested loudly, "Is this some kind of vulgar joke?
"Damn!" Bedivel grew angry: "Talk back, damn doctor! I know you're out there!!You must be laughing and eating popcorn and watching a show, right?!"
"Hey, I'm talking to you!!'s game over, quick--special--what-put-me-from-this-out-out-out!!!" Still didn't respond.
"Alright, that's enough!" Bediwell desperately held his breath, trying to pry open the metal door before he fainted with hypnotic gas. However, his forced pry open caused a screeching sound from the metal interface of the door, drawing something strange from the darkness to it.
"Woo-harder-" As Bediwell slammed the door, some kind of black tentacle slowly squirmed towards the door.
"Ahh He didn't notice the tentacles crawling along the door, and he just split his legs and broke the door open.
The tentacles continued to crawl inside the scanner, slowly approaching the werewolf's butt. Lying naked inside the metal cylinder with his legs spread apart, Bediwell's parts were defenseless, already targeted by black monster tentacles.
Whoosh! Several tentacles suddenly tied the werewolf's legs.
"What's going on?!!! The tentacles are already entangled around him and are attacking his lower body!
"What?!" The werewolf in a panic was even more affected by the hypnotic gas, and his limbs gradually became numb.
Those tentacles took advantage of the void to enter, and when they saw the hole, they were about to invade Bediwell's body!
There was a crisp sound accompanied by the flash of the knife, and the tentacles that bound Bedeville suddenly loosened.
"Huh?" Bediville breathed a sigh of relief, and looked out of the scanner urgently, trying to figure out what was going on outside.
"Look at this wolf!" Bediwell had just looked out the small door when he saw the mocking face of the evil star, "It stinks! What did you do just now, did you scare pee?" The werewolf quickly crawled out of the open door and saw Tristan, Evan, Palamides, and Evil Star all there: "What the hell was that just now?" "As you can see, it's tentacles. Evan tossed a clean suit to Bedeville and explained emotionlessly, "And most likely the tentacles of the trolls of the deep sea." "Deep Sea Troll?" The werewolf frowned, "It must have been subdued seven years ago, right?" "It's clear that it escaped from Vivien's old research institute," Palamides covered her stomach and smiled and bent over, "And it almost made your kid partially unsafe, huhu Palamides said rightly.
"Instead of changing into clean clothes, I think you should go take a shower first. Devil covered her nose and looked at Bedeville with disgust.
"No, we just need this [stinky] guy as bait. Tristan smiled coldly, "As long as we lure the deep sea trolls from the castle dungeon to the shore, we can use the main cannon of the [Ice Crystal] to blast the deep sea trolls into pulp." Bediwell exclaimed even more dissatisfied, "Oh, so you think I'll do what you say I'm going to do as you say I'm going to be a substitute for the dead?" Tristan, the fish-man prince, instantly had a victorious smile on his face: "You have no other choice. We brought you here with a portal. If you want to go back, you'll have to work with us. Bediville instantly became hideous, as if he were about to kill, but he immediately hid the hideousness on his face, and replied weakly, "Very well, so be it." "I'm glad we finally came to a consensus. The Fish-Man Prince spread out the map he had prepared on the table next to him and began to gesture, "I'm headed to the north wing with Evan and Evil, and I'm responsible for opening the castle's sluices. A group of Palamides and Bediwell, who were quick on their feet, headed to the castle dungeon to lure the monster out. "Put this on. He took out two more miniature walkie-talkies and handed them to Bedivel and Palamidas: "Evan will be in charge of monitoring the monster's movements and directing your actions. Although he was very reluctant to be led by the nose, Bediwell really didn't have a better plan, so he had to do as Tristan said. He didn't care about dealing with any deep-sea trolls at all, he just wanted to finish the troubles here and go back to the hotel for a good night's sleep.
More black tentacles crawled out of the room's ventilation ducts and spread towards the crowd.
"It's here again!Everyone!" Tristan broke out of the window, using his weapon as a support, and fled along the castle's outer walls.
"Let's go too. Palamides pulled out a photon dagger and ran towards the door of the infirmary.
"You don't have a better weapon in your hands?" asked the werewolf, taking another photon dagger from Palamides, curious. His tungsten tongue whip was left on the [Ice Crystal], and he didn't feel sure without it.
"The other weapons were left at the hotel, and they weren't brought with them in the first place. Palamides tapped his luna steel armour, "But don't worry, I have this thing in addition to the borrowed weapon." "Palamides' Luna Iron Arm can indeed be used as a fist gauntlet, and it is very powerful. The question is - the werewolf followed the leopard warrior out of the corridor, stretched his face and said, "That's an octopus monster with a powerful regeneration ability, you can't kill it with a fist blow, right?" Palamides smiled mysteriously.
