Part 6 Star Project 18 Star Project

18 Star Project

I'm going to introduce you to my plan, tentatively named "Project Stars", which I have transferred to your PDA. First of all, I don't know anything about astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology, or politics. However, all the contents of my plan are based on the science and technology that mankind has developed at this stage, in other words, this plan can be realized, and its results will be beneficial to the continuation of human civilization no matter what it is.

The NT fleet has been confirmed to be invading Earth in five years, and there are only two ways for us to deal with it: flee and fight back.

If you choose to escape, according to the arrangement of the N-star consciousness, enter the wormhole, and become a prisoner of the universe, this may be a good result. But everyone understands that there are very few people who can flee and can take our twenty ...... It has taken decades for these 25 people to get here, and how many people can we transport through the wormhole in five years? Even if 100,000 people were really transported through, would such a small group of organisms really be able to reproduce in an unfamiliar ecological environment? Will the few humans who have lost their home planet and civilization community eventually become extinct because they do not have sufficient population support, just like the endangered animals in animal sanctuaries? Moreover, we don't know anything about the planet that the N-star people set up on the other side of the wormhole, and if human beings have the slightest discomfort with the environment of that planet, such as gas ratio, gravity, light, etc., it will lead to the destruction of the exiled human civilization. In this way, as a seemingly most appropriate option, escape is also a challenging adventure, and the fate of human civilization cannot be gambled on such an adventure.

As for the counterattack, judging from the current technology of the earth, no matter what efforts the earth is doing now, the final result will be self-defeating. We also can't pin all our hopes on the development of N-star technology and N-particle commands, because five years is too short a time to make breakthroughs in these two areas - unless the only two N-particle operators on our space station can happen to find the command to break the invincibility of the Nt fleet, but I don't think I need to explain how small that probability is.

So, I devised the "Star Project", which seems to be a compromise. The core mission of the "Stellar Project" is to use the difference in the speed of time passage on both sides of the wormhole to obtain enough instructions to control N particles that can be used, and the source of the new instructions is the "new humans" who are about to live on many planets on "that side". (Note: 1 hour in the solar system, 10 years on the wormhole) Of course, this method was also chosen because many planets on the other side of the wormhole have been modified by N particles, so N particles are everywhere, and it is a perfect test ground for planning.

To accomplish this core task, the plan is divided into the following steps:

The first step is to send a small space station into a wormhole as the central command system of the "Stellar Project", and its AI system is mainly responsible for detecting celestial objects, analyzing data, transmitting and receiving information, and other functions that are proposed to be added have been written in the notes next to it.

The second step, on the basis of completing the first step of "detecting celestial bodies" and "analyzing data", launch "life bombs" to more than ten planets on "that side" to complete the task of sowing "new human beings", I believe that in the time over there, there will be more than ten new planetary civilizations gradually formed in less than 100 years, and for us, it is only half a day.

In the third step, the N-star consciousness said that the wormhole has been transformed by N particles, which means that all particles on the "other side" can be controlled by the corresponding commands. In the initial stage of more than a dozen "nascent human" civilizations, we can use some deliberate guidance, including the use of genetic modification, to let these civilizations spontaneously use and develop control instructions, which is equivalent to the hundreds of millions of experimental subjects on more than ten planets, to help us continuously generate, try and practice new instructions to control N particles. If this step goes well, then we just need to wait, wait for more than ten civilizations to develop to a certain stage, and when enough control instructions have been developed, we can start the next step.

The fourth step is to create a war crisis for these more than ten "new human" civilizations, so as to achieve the goal of the explosive emergence of "new instructions". The N-star consciousness has been emphasizing that there are two factors that affect the efficiency of instruction development: the number of test subjects and randomness, and their experimental results also prove this conclusion, as the so-called "war is a catalyst for the development of science and technology". This step is difficult and risky to execute and is optional, but I would like to emphasize the necessity of this step, as it will allow us to obtain instructions twice as efficiently.

Step 5, when the fourth step is completed for a period of time, send the intelligent robot to collect all the instructions, gather them to the small space station as the central command system, and the AI analyzes and converts them into Morse code or binary code and transmits them back to the Minerva space station through the wormhole - due to the gravitational difference on both sides of the wormhole, only these two communication methods work, and only a brief content can be transmitted. But that's enough, and as long as the instructions come back to us, it's already a huge achievement. If it can be used against the invading Earth Nt fleet, it will be the most perfect ending. But before that, there's-

Sixth, after collecting the instructions of any "nascent human" civilization, it must be completely wiped out! I know you will be skeptical of this step, but we cannot allow a "smart civilization" unlike ours to continue unchecked, and if they develop technology that rivals us, or develops directives that counterbalance us, the results will become unpredictable and uncontrollable. Therefore, the civilization of the "new humans" will be extinct at a certain stage, no matter how large the number! After extinction, re-sow new "life bombs", go back to the second step, and keep circulating the second to fifth steps, although it may take thousands of years to complete a complete cycle, but on our side it is only a month, and in the most optimistic case, it will only take a year to collect the instructions we want.

The above six steps are the specific implementation process of the entire plan. Of course, we have to consider the worst-case scenario, which is that when the Nt fleet invades, we still don't have the necessary orders or find a way to fight them, so we have to consider the option of fleeing.

As mentioned before, human civilization cannot escape into an unsuitable environment, so another role of the "Stars Project" is to let the "new humans" help us transform the environment of the "other" planet to be more suitable for human survival. In this way, after several generations of "newborn human" civilizations, the environment of the planet must be able to accommodate the newly arrived exiled humans. On the other hand, the exiled human beings can also use genetic modification technology to build these more than ten "new human" civilizations into their own slaves in the New World, continue themselves on the basis of their development, and become rulers, so as not to make the exile life smoother?

As I said before, this solution is not only achievable, but the result is also beneficial to the continuation of human civilization in any case.

Before the implementation of this plan, the preparation work is very important, but from the perspective of the technology required for the plan, such as artificial intelligence, gene technology, aerospace technology, etc., it is already mastered or proficient in human beings. From the risk side, the impossibility of validation trials does need to be evaluated, but we can use AI to do simulations, and I've added the results of several simulations to the appendix, where the data may be biased from the facts, but the overall impact is not significant. However, the most important thing to consider is the cost and time of construction, and since I don't know the specifics and contents, I just hope that the hardware to implement this plan can be completed in two to three years, so that we have more than a year to complete the operation of the program and get more instructions.

Since I am not a R&D professional, I can't calculate the specific budget investment, but I'm sure that this solution will be the most cost-effective. In the limited time of five years, the program we can implement is like an abortion: there is no good plan, but mine should be the one of all the bad plans that is reasonable.

Friends here, I am not offended, nor do I dare to pretend to be professional in front of authority, I hope that friends will put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on my "Star Project", and make a detailed assessment of it, I want to work with you to find a way to continue human civilization, I hope this plan can bring you some help.

I believe that human civilization will continue successfully.

- Because of human ...... The possibilities are endless.

After Gao Jie's explanation, the scene was deservedly silent. Everyone was staring at the dense, detailed explanatory text on the PDA—much more than what Gao Jie had said—and they were doing the final work with a translator.

A few minutes later, someone in the venue began to talk to each other, pointing to the content of the PDA and competing to discuss, and slowly, the voice began to be noisy, but it seemed to be suppressed all the time.

Interestingly, everyone was discussing Gao Jie's plan, but no one was putting on a condescending attitude to question her personally...... This is exactly what Gao Jie expected: as soon as he came up, he questioned more to show his authority in a certain field, and Gao Jie did not like this form. And the discussion also shows that what is valuable is often worth arguing.

“…… We're glad to see your program, high. A lot of the ideas in it are bold and can work. But there is one thing I want to confirm: should astronauts be stationed on the small space station in charge of 'central command' to supervise it? ……”

“…… The 'newborn human' civilization on each planet from its birth to ...... How many years should be set for extinction? If we follow the trajectory of human development, it is more reasonable to set it at 4,000 or 4,500 years......"

“…… AI can be used to monitor the level of civilization development on each planet, and if it can analyze the information of the number of people, scientific and technological development, military strength, stability and other data on the planet, it can be able to independently control the planning steps of each planet, without having to be uniform on all planets, which can also ensure that the 'central command' space station can collect information more easily to process and transmit ......."

“…… Name each step, for example, the second step is called 'Civilization Rebirth', followed by 'Civilization Development', 'Mutual Testing', and 'Harvest Instructions'...... Well, wouldn't it be more appropriate to call the last step 'harvesting', after all, this civilization has been wiped out......"

…… The discussion continued, opinions and suggestions were endless, and a smile appeared on the corner of Gao Jie's mouth: although it is not perfect, the idea shown by this plan has successfully conquered the researchers and technicians on the space station, and the final improved plan will have a high probability of passing the evaluation of the Earth side, and even be implemented in the end, so that his family will be safe...... She looked at Miller beside her, whose eyes regained their brightness, as if hope was closer......

A figure flashed through the hatch, someone had just left. At this moment, a small note was handed from the hands of the members in the back, as if it was going to be passed to everyone. However, the note seemed to have magical powers, and the expressions of everyone who took it froze in an instant, and as it was delivered, half of the venue was silent, and then the entire venue...... Eventually, the note reached Miller.

After staring down at the note for a long time, Miller finally lifted his heavy head—a frozen expression came to his face, and then he raised his arm with difficulty and handed the note to Gao Jie.

Gao Jie took the note, and there was only one extremely short sentence on it:

——Are you the devil?

- Are you the devil?
