Part 3 Lost Pathos 44.5 Timeline
44.5 Timeline
Since the third part mostly adopts flashbacks in the narrative, it is necessary to note the timeline before the end of this part and sort out the complete main story of this part, so as not to make it difficult to understand the story due to multiple clues interspersed and parallel.
……
On October 122x, Wind Chime was born (real name unknown, identity unknown) and later became an orphan adopted in Butler Castle.
On March 8, 1227, Princess Lilith Royer was born to Albert Royer, then King of Spleit.
On March 4, 1233, Lilith and Wind Chime met for the first time, and the two became friends ever since.
On March 8, 1234, Wind Chimes entered Butler Castle and became a companion to the royal family, serving Princess Lilith.
In August 1238, Wind Chimes had entered the Demon Court to study. At a dance party at the end of August, Lilith's mother passed out and died in November, and Lilith's emotions hit rock bottom.
On March 8, 1239, Wind Chimes performed a "candle trick" for Lilith, which ended in embarrassment, but Lilith was reinvigorated. That night, Lilith has a true affection for Wind Chime, but Wind Chime is terrified of the "beyond normal" friendship between the two.
Beginning in August 1239, Abbot Tucker and other students of the Wind Chimes and Demon Court began to travel around the world, hoping to avoid Lilith's emotions.
In October 1239, at the library of Alex City in the Kingdom of Obe, Wind Chime attended the "World Magic Seminar" led by Pala Dax. During the workshop, Pala Dax forcibly promoted her newly published Saknusem Manuscript, only to be alerted by Wind Chimes and two Green Dragon mercenaries, who used the Alex City Librarian's magic bag to preserve their Manuscripts, and the other attendees' Manuscripts were forcibly burned by Para Dax (Wind Chimes recommended the librarian's foreshadowing in Part 2). That night, after a chance encounter with a same-sex lover in Alex City, Wind Chime clarifies her intentions and decides to break her concerns and accept Lilith's feelings, and at the same time, she begins to learn teleportation magic in order to be able to get to Lilith at any time in the future.
In March 1241, Wind Chimes returned to Butler Castle to reunite with the princess, and the two established a same-sex relationship that was kept secret.
In September 1243, the "Battle of Kuromon" was fought when the Kingdom of Justud in the north of the Kingdom of Split invaded the border, and the Commander of the Kingdom of Split was the leader of the White Shield Akay family, Alista Akay, and his eldest son was killed on the third day after the battle began.
In November 1243, due to the heavy use of magic on the battlefield of the Black Gate, Wind Chimes went to support the front line with the Demon Court.
In December 1243, the Demon Court reinforcements arrived at the front, but soon fell into passivity due to the fact that King Albert of Splett had not sent reinforcements. In a fierce battle, Dean Tucker and many of his students were killed one after another, and Alista successfully counterattacked, but was surrounded because he was too aggressive, but was fortunately rescued by the wind chimes. After the battle, Wind Chime writes Lilith a magical letterhead with the effect that only the recipient can see the visions projected in the letter (narrating the contents of the letter in the form of the person who wrote it). Fearing that the letter would be censored, Wind Chime sent the letter to Entekoman, a reserve member of the Praetorian Guard, and asked him to place it in the break room where Lilith would definitely go, as it was where the two used to dance together.
On January 1, 1244, Lilith saw a vision of wind chimes in the break room and met Entekoman, who had become a private of the Praetorian Guard.
On February 11, 1244, as the Kingdom of Justid attempted to launch a final battle, Wind Chime and Alysta devised a way to fight the siege engines and prepared to fight to the end - but the final battle ended in an unlikely way: legend has it that a dragon appeared on the battlefield...... After that, the army of the Kingdom of Yousd was unable to fight again, and the squad returned to China to deal with domestic problems. At this point, the Battle of the Black Gate ended, during which King Albert did not send any reinforcements (the support of the Demon Court was spontaneous).
On February 24, 1244, Alista repaid the departing Wind Chime by informing her of the family creed, and as long as the wind chime told the family creed to the people of the Akay family, he would gain the family's trust and help (laying the groundwork for the later rescue of Erin). At the same time, Alista received an order from King Albert: to demolish the walls of the Black Gate. This order is tantamount to giving away the northern barrier.
On March 5, 1244, the wind chimes returned to Butler City. A few days later, Albert's mediocre directives spread, and the ministers began to become disillusioned with the current king, and prepared to plot a coup d'état to overthrow the current king and install his younger brother, Prince Ryan Royer, on the throne.
In May 1244, Prince Lane's rebels besieged Butler Castle in an attempt to force King Albert to take the throne, but received no reply. Strangely, during this critical period, no troops were stationed in the capital, except for the more than 300 members of the Praetorian Guard, and it is rumored that the troops originally stationed in the capital were transferred by King Albert.
On the night of 5 May 1244, the rebels attacked, and they were to storm the castle before the king's reinforcements arrived. Inside the castle, several servants who had lost their loved ones to the Battle of the Black Gate rebelled and successfully assassinated King Albert, while Lilith swallowed poison that had been used to kill herself. Wind Chimes resurrect Lilith with magic in time and lock Lilith in time, making her immortal. Later, Wind Chime and the unconscious Lilith teleported to the stables behind the Cathedral of the Ten Thousand Sources, where they joined Earl McQueen and Entekorman, who had successfully broken out, only to see the crown prince succumb to his injuries. In order to allow the princess to avoid being captured, Wind Chime pretended to be the princess and deliberately let Entekoman "kill" himself in the presence of the rebels and throw him into the river, so as to create the illusion that the princess was dead. With the three royals dead and the manhunt stopped, Lilith and Earl McQueen were able to escape, but were accidentally separated from Wind Chimes, who were forced to separate for more than five hundred years.
On May 6, 1244, Earl McQueen fled with Lilith to the house of his teacher, the knight Goliath, and the three later fled outside the city. During the same period, Wind Chimes searched for Lilith in vain.
From 1244 to 1245, Wind Chime continued to search for Lilith everywhere, during which time she was secretly pursued by the Green Dragon Mercenaries, but fortunately, she was always able to deal with them successfully, so that the Green Dragon Mercenaries had to admit that the mission failed. Lilith hears that Entekoman "betrayed" her father and brother, and decides to avenge their father's last wish. About a year later, Goliath took Lilith (according to Albert's map) to the heart of the Desperate Desert, where Lilith found her "weapon" for revenge, and a few months later, the knight Goliath died of illness, and Lilith was unable to cremate him, so she had to bury him with stones. In the time since, Lilith has been fumbling for the use of the weapon, but due to her fear of light, she is unable to control the expansion of sand and shadows.
……
In 175x, Wind Chimes repelled the incoming robbers while passing through Windwalk, she met Count Lee, who was still a child at the time, and was courteously saved by the townspeople of Windwalk, who decided to live in seclusion in the snowy mountains of the north, and when she said goodbye to Windwalk, she left a spell stone, as long as she placed it on the Ryx altar, Wind Chimes would reappear to help the townspeople through the trouble.
……
In 1799, the Djinn Crisis broke out! In December, the city of Tum fell.
In June 1800, the "Spirits of Toom City" finally returned to human territory after six months in the Djinn-occupied territory. Marquis Risen thus succeeded in discovering a way to defeat the djinn, and the humans began to plan a counterattack.
In October 1802, as the threat of djinn subsided, human activity began to return to normal, and there were several reports of "dark shadows attacking passers-by around the desperate desert".
On November 15, 1802, the town of Fengxing was defended.
(See Part 1 for details)
After the Janissary attempt to attack Windwalk failed, Milo Entekman asked Wind Chime about the "Curse of the Stars", which seemed to remind Wind Chime of something, hence the meeting in the first chapter of Part 2 at Midway. After the meeting, Wind Chime gets a map from the old man (his father) on how to enter the Desperate Desert.
On September 21, 1805, Erin Akay and her comrades were attacked by an unknown "black shadow" on the edge of a desperate desert.
(See Part 2 for details)
In October 1805, after bidding farewell to Windwalk, Wind Chimes relied on a map to enter the Desperate Desert and reunited with Lilith in one of the desert-buried buildings, at which point the Desperate Desert began to expand northward in order to take revenge on Entecoman's descendant, Milo Entekoman. At the same time, reports of the activity of the "Black Shadows" began to appear frequently, and from then on they became known as "Shaling".
From January to March 1806, the sand and dust of the desperate desert continued to expand into the northern town of Fengxing, engulfing two villages, none of which were nowhere to be found. They were teleported to Overwatch Island by the Wind Chimes and later found by the soothsayers Domi and Parrett, who led some of the villagers to Wohlport to report to the city archon, and took the opportunity to steal the harbor's map.
On the night of February 10, 1806, the battle of Nanchangling Pass, the battle between the Fengxing Town Guards and Sha Ling, finally ended with Sha Ling stopping the battle. In Lilith's plan, this battle was a good opportunity to test the strength of the Sand Spirit, and if she knew that this team was from Windrun and that Milo was among them, she would definitely kill the killer.
On the night of February 11, 1806, Wind Chimes warned Melo in the dust not to try to stop him again, and informed him that his true target was him. Later, Melo also learns from the Green Dragon Mercenaries the reason why he is considered a target - his ancestors are traitors.
On March 5, 1806, the evacuation of the Windrun Town was completed, and Melo prepared to die calmly.
On March 6 and 7, 1806, Wind Chimes wrote a long letter to Mellot, informing him of her life and the truth about the night of the coup, and she cast a spell on the letterhead, just as she had written to Lilith when she was at the Black Gate. Eventually, the letter was teleported to Heidi's room in the Windrun Fortress, where Milo learned of the contents of the letter through the illusion of the wind chimes.
On March 8, 1806, Lilith's birthday and on the eve of her revenge, Wind Chimes performed another candle trick to dissuade Lilith and tell her the truth about the night of the coup. After completely letting go of the hatred and entanglement in her heart, Lilith accepts her fate and understands herself calmly with Wind Chimes. However, since neither of them is old or dead, Wind Chime has sealed himself and Lilith in ice crystals in a "frozen" way, and no one has been able to unravel the spell so far.
On the other hand, Milo has finished reading the letter and witnessed the end of the "Shaling Crisis......
At this point, the dust has settled.
