Chapter 3 Comics
The story of everything fades away.
The bus stopped at the side of the road, at the intersection of the village. The sunset fell on the roadside at the entrance of the village, and the thin air was dyed with a layer of plain warmth, and the land that was illuminated, countless flying dust feathers turned into a few reddish glows on the horizon.
Xu Lingxi walked out of the car slowly, stepped on the cement road home, and a cool and comfortable autumn breeze blew in front of him.
"I'm back, I'm done, I'm cooking, wash my hands and eat." As soon as I entered the house, the voice of my father Xu Shenzhi sounded.
"Well, Dad, you came back so early today, don't you have to work overtime?"
"No, the project was done before, and you don't have to be so busy after that."
"That's good, I have time to spend with my mother." Xu Lingxi said with a smile.
After dinner, Xu Lingxi took a warm shower and entered the room.
Xu Lingxi sat on the desk in front of the window, with a pile of white paper in front of him, and next to the white paper were three comic books, and the three comic books had one thing in common, that is, a corner of the cover was also printed - hibiscus.
The breeze outside the window blew into the room, gently brushing Xu Lingxi's face, and he suddenly felt very relaxed and comfortable.
Xu Lingxi looked at the dark blue sky outside the window, the stars were like diamonds, pouring out ten thousand points of silver gray, a piece of crystal clear white jade, inlaid in the boundless night sky, how beautiful and quiet.
She reviewed yesterday's scene over and over again, and suddenly seemed to think of something, the corners of her mouth were slightly upturned, and her eyes were curved like crescent moons, as if the spirit rhyme had overflowed.
She grabbed a pencil from the table and immediately lowered her head and drew on a blank piece of paper.
She lowered her eyes, held the pencil in her hand, and watched carefully as the tip of the pen flew on the white paper, the light shining on the top of her head, and the black hair hanging down on her shoulders, slightly reflective.
This weekend, Xu Lingxi was nested in the room, and her inspiration was swaying on the blank paper. The stereo in the room played a beautiful melody, and sometimes she felt tired of painting, so she picked up the microphone and sang two songs, and then her whole body was like a chicken blood, and she continued to write with a pen.
Xu Lingxi has been very fond of painting since she was very young, she feels that when she depicts flowers, people, scenes, and objects, her heart is unconsciously invested in it, and when she achieves a complete work, her heart will be an indescribable enjoyment, which makes her feel very comfortable.
On her ninth birthday, Xu Shenzhi gave her a copy of Xia Da's "April Story" as a gift, and after Xu Lingxi read it, he became interested in comics, fell in love with reading comics, and liked to collect all kinds of comic works.
At the age of thirteen, Xu Lingxi suddenly had the idea of wanting to create her own works, she felt that her painting skills were not bad in the first place, so that she could present the stories she associated with them in the form of comics.
As soon as she thought of it, she took action and began to draw after school on the weekend.
Her comic is designed as a story about a little boy who is optimistic on the surface and likable to everyone, but in fact he is lonely on the inside, because he grew up in a single-parent family. When he was four years old, his father left him and his mother and went to another city with another woman, and never returned. Therefore, when the little boy is alone at night, he will feel very lonely and insecure. One night, he discovers that his shadow can talk to him, that his shadow understands him, and that his shadow knows what others think, and then that shadow helps him through it everywhere, such a coming-of-age story. The title of this comic is "Me and My Shadow".
The idea of this story, including the appearance of that shadow, is actually a kind of yearning for Xu Lingxi, its god-like existence, which can make her feel less lonely.
After drawing the whole story, Xu Lingxi took pictures of her comics one by one and uploaded them to a forum called "Comic Lovers", her purpose was to let more people see them, and then help her point out the shortcomings of her comics so that she could correct them.
But I haven't uploaded the whole comic yet.,I didn't expect to attract a group of comic fans.,Many people like her comics.,Some people say they like the stories in her comics.,Some people say they like the style of her comics.,Some people say that the characters in it are very cute.,In short, it's praised.γThe popularity is overwhelming.,Urging her to update the back quickly.γ
Later, there were publishers looking for her, and she did not refuse, she was happy, because in this way, more people could see her comics, enrich the lives of others, and bring happiness to readers.
In the following two years, Xu Lingxi continued to create two comics, and published a total of three comics.
"Xiaoxi, come, drink a glass of milk." Zhou Nan walked into the room with a glass of milk in his hand and put the milk on Xu Lingxi's desk.
"Okay, Mom." Xu Lingxi didn't raise his head, still drawing on paper.
"Started working again?" Zhou Nan looked at Xu Lingxi's serious expression, "Xiaoxi, I know you're keen on this now, but you can't work so hard, it's rare to go out on weekends." β
"What are you doing when you have nothing to do?"
"Go to play with your classmates and friends, at your age, isn't it all the age of play, except for studying? Hey, it's just you, you're busier than an office worker, so how can you make more friends and exercise your guts. β
"No one asked me out, so I'm going out to wander around by myself?" Xu Lingxi picked up the milk and took a sip.
"You can ask someone else, aren't you quite familiar with Su Ran, you can ask her out."
"Su Ran has been watching me for five days a week, and on the weekend, don't you let them go?"
"You!" Zhou Nan smiled and sighed, and then walked out of the room.
