Chapter 16: Only Children
Ivan didn't think so, he even felt that the old man had broken the sky, but it was a pity that he couldn't understand it all of a sudden.
Ivan remembers sitting for a long time in front of the old storyteller's booth, on the shabby-looking little wooden stool. He had always had the illusion that he was in a fog, as if he had been in a long dream now.
In it, and for a long time afterward, he still hadn't realized what kind of cognitive collapse this was, and then re-established it. This is simply a reshaping of Ivan's three views, and his soul has been slowly sublimated.
Ivan never imagined that even just the stars in the sky could hide so many secrets in them.
Even if Ivan was not willing to believe and admit that the old storyteller's words were true, he did not believe them.
But later, with the storyteller's detailed description and explanation, it seems that all this is really true.
Ivan couldn't find much reason to refute this matter in his own heart, or in front of the old man.
It seems that this matter has now been finalized, and no external force can change it in any way.
The idea of a life that would not be understood and favored by others was too miserable, and the thought suddenly came to Ivan's mind, even if nothing had anything to do with this idea.
After all, it's about death, and the one sitting across from him looks like an old man in his old age.
Ivan couldn't bear to question his perception, question his opinion, question what he believed at the moment.
After all, in the current situation, this kind of dialogue is really in line with the previous sentence, this old man has walked more bridges than Ivan has walked, and this old man has eaten more salt than Ivan has eaten, which may sound like empiricism.
But it is undeniable that there is still a lot of room for change, and Ivan believes that the soul can be changed.
More often than not, Ivan listened to all of their words, then wrote down a rough idea and found a period to think about it later. It seems that this is the only way to fully understand their thoughts, and Ivan is not a person who can quickly grasp them.
Ivan sat on the small wooden stool, his expression was a little sluggish, and even his spiritual energy was invisibly weakened a lot.
It sounded like a baptism of his own soul, and Ivan hadn't even had time to prepare for it.
After listening to it, I just thought about relying on my current situation, and whether there was a chance to be like what this old man said in the future.
He can also become a shining star in the sky, which is the only thing Ivan wants to do at this time.
From the beginning of disbelief to the current desire to become, Ivan is like a person who has been brainwashed and just wants to see the result.
How he wished he was the purest and gentlest of all souls, but he soon denied himself the thought in his heart. This is an unrealistic, unrealistic idea, and Ivan knows the difference.
You must know that as a prince, you live in the palace, and naturally you grew up witnessing these palace fights since you were a child.
How can you not know what kind of secret is hidden in it? Ivan's heart is like a mirror.
When it comes to intrigue, many people are no match for Ivan at all, even if he may seem harmless.
But it's just a matter of appearance, if you really want to take advantage of Ivan in your scheming.
Ivan himself was sure that unless he volunteered, there was almost no such possibility, and he was not the kind of person to bully.
How can a child who grows up in such an environment have a soul as clean and pure as the old man said?
If there really is such a soul, it must have been at birth. Wanting to keep it up, Ivan doubted that he would be able to be sound, or that he would be able to live safely until now. This is no joke, and Ivan is not just self-intimidating.
In the midst of this, there are many difficult issues involved, which also leads Ivan to not always dwell on them.
Although I don't know who will be the shining star in the sky in the future.
But these Ivan actually don't care from the bottom of his heart, and not everyone is born to be a star in the night sky.
This should just be an old man's remarks, which can only represent that he thinks so, and cannot prove anything.
Ivan thought of this, as if he wanted to reconcile himself, he didn't want to be one of the many stars in the sky so much.
In other words, because you know your own conditions, you can only do this, and you can't become a star in the sky at all.
So Ivan himself persuaded himself to open a little, people live for a lifetime, and they can't always think about what to do after they die.
To be dead is to be dead, and the fall of the body represents the end of a person's lifespan, so why do you still want to shine?
After all, this is not a long-term solution, it is just a short period of self-absorption, and Ivan's concept has changed again.
In this way, it is often just a certain sentence that he hears by chance, and as long as Ivan finds it interesting, he is willing to write it down.
Basically, after several rounds of thinking and chewing in the future, Ivan can finally determine what he thinks of a certain statement. But even so, Ivan suddenly remembered at some point in the future, and found that his thoughts were still changing.
Like at this moment, Ivan was lying on the ground, looking at the night sky, where stars were shining.
They were as bright as ever, and the moon in the middle did not weaken, and its light would always overshadow the other stars.
Even if, as the old storyteller had said, there was a star that was too bright to overshadow the moon's rays for a moment, Ivan did not deny the existence of such a scene, and he had never seen such a scene himself anyway.
Maybe at some point when you fall asleep, maybe at a certain moment in your life, there really is such a person.
There really is a person with such a soul, who left this world and touched the gods. So the gods really sealed his soul as a star in the sky, and Ivan was very curious about what a person with such a soul was like in life.
There was even a moment when Ivan wondered if the twinkling stars could be some poor child who had died young.
Because in Ivan's cognition, there are only newborn children, and they have not had time to walk in the world.
Therefore, they will not be polluted in any way, and only the soul of a child can be so clean and pure.
Like a blank sheet of paper, it will not be stained with any worldly paint, and it is as clean and pure white as ever.
