Chapter 476: Big Fat Monk, Seal Law Interpretation

The thing that can still be seen in old movies today, but it is extremely rare in life.

Ring scar, also known as incense scar, is said to have originated in the Yuan and Song dynasties. To put it simply, it is to use incense to drill small holes in the top of the head, which is a proof of a kind of penance for Buddhist monks.

Most people don't know that Buddhist disciples have been divided into Dharma monks and monks since ancient times, and there are also those who are called monks and bitter monks.

Dharma monks are proficient in Buddhism but do not practice the secret art of Buddhism, so they have a weak heart and see through the red dust, so they do not need to burn the scars.

For example, the Zen Master Zhuxin just mentioned, he is the first monk of Zen Buddhism, and there is no precept scar on the top of his head. In ancient times, the ring scar was also a distinctive sign to distinguish the two types of monks.

Because monks want to practice Buddhism, like all cultivators, they need to suffer from five disadvantages and three deficiencies, and the top of their heads are often engraved with ring scars, which means damage to the skin and perseverance of the mind and body.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, because it was labeled as "harmful to health", the ring scar has been abolished, and it is rare to see it even among today's famous monks.

In terms of quantity, the ring scar is also particular. Basically, it is based on three or multiples of three, with a minimum of three and a maximum of nine. If there are 12 pieces, it is called the "Bodhisattva vow".

The "Bodhisattva Precepts", also known as the "Enlightenment Precepts", are the supreme symbol of the Buddhist monks' precepts. It is said that those who have attained the bodhisattva vows have already realized heaven and earth, become the body of a bodhisattva, and jump out of the three realms, not in the five elements.

In order to avoid confusion, it is important to note here. According to the different schools of monasticism, the three worlds mentioned by Buddhism are: the world of desire, the world of color and the world of colorlessness, while the three worlds mentioned by Taoists refer to the world of image, the world of form, and the world of movement, which are not the same.

However, the so-called Three Realms of Buddhism and Taoism all refer to the state of mind and artistic conception, which is not the same meaning as the world composition of the Six Realms and Three Outlines that we know, so we should pay attention to distinguishing them.

The Bodhisattva vow, which only exists in legends, actually appeared on the top of the head of this fat monk, how can I not be surprised, I don't know where he is sacred.

The pockmarked old man jumped to the side and stood still, staring at us viciously, his beard trembling, and his mouth scolding hatefully.

"Where did the wild bald donkey come from, dare to meddle with the affairs of this seat!"

I saw that the golden light around me dispersed, but the big fat monk's hand was still placed in the back of my heart, and the qi that poured into my body gradually weakened, but it turned into a trickle, which continued to enter.

The monk's face was not sad or happy, and he said indifferently: "Donor, you have cultivated to a high level, and you are a lot older, why do you want to kill this young man?" ”

The corners of the old man's mouth twitched, and he sneered sadly, with a fierce expression on his face.

"Why should I kill him? If you bald donkey dare to say more, this seat will even accept your old life! ”

Before the words fell, the old man Mazi struck again, a pair of eyes were shining, and the qi in his palms suddenly rose, wrapped in a strong wind, and slapped towards my chest again, like a hungry tiger pounced.

My heart is broken, this pockmarked old man's cultivation far surpasses mine, and a hard collision with him is like a mantis arm as a car.

In retrospect, the last time I encountered such a terrifying master, I couldn't pass three moves in front of him, and I still had to count the one who could transform into a giant ape.

Although the attack of this old man is not as strong and aggressive as that of the Lama in the territory, his cultivation is also unfathomable, and he is a first-class master, and he has no power to parry.

In a moment of panic, I felt a sudden rush of consciousness into my mind.

"Brush away the appearance, use your thoughts, use your fists as the seal, and come out at will" ...... bookish

I was shocked, this consciousness that poured into my mind was clearly the voice of the big fat monk behind me, how did he do it? Can you use consciousness to transmit sound?

What's even more amazing is that in the palm of the monk's hand that was placed in the back of my heart, the qi was still pouring in, and this trickle-like aura suddenly became majestic, surging like a torrent.

Xiao Zhoutian's True Qi, which had been running in my body, began to stir all over my body as if it had been guided and flooded.

"Brush away the appearance, use your thoughts, make your fists and palms as seals, and ...... at will"

These are only sixteen words, as if they have some kind of magic, like an electric current constantly hitting my cranial nerves, making me instantly feel a sense of empowerment.

"Brush away the appearance and use the mind", this principle means that the mudra seems to be a seal but is not a seal, it seems to be made with ten fingers but it is only an inherent impression, and it is not the hand that really seals, but the heart.

The meaning of "the fist is the seal, and it comes out at will" should be to follow one's inner instinct, change the mudra from a hand knot to a heart knot, and use it according to one's own mind and not limited to the form......

Things in the world are so mysterious.

An ordinary thing, so ordinary that you don't need to think about the process and right and wrong at all, but there is endless philosophy in it. Once you've figured it out, you'll suddenly discover a whole new world and open a door to mysteries.

The true qi in my body was stirring, and I felt like I had suddenly opened up the second vein of Ren Du, if the original true qi that could be condensed was a stream, then now it has become a tide, surging endlessly.

They don't flow towards my hands, they flow from all directions towards my heart. For the first time, I felt a huge cyclone in my body, and my whole body seemed to become transparent.

The cyclone swirled silently, and there seemed to be countless cyclones above my head, under my feet, and around me, and they were surging quietly, exactly in line with the rhythm of the cyclone flow in my body, with rhythmic ups and downs.

Under the surging of this cyclone, my heart became surprisingly calm, and even time seemed to stand still.

What's even more incredible is that at the same time as this cyclone was generated in my body, the glutinous rice dumplings in my body also changed instantly.

I could clearly feel that the size of the little guy had suddenly doubled, it was like an octopus, and suddenly countless tentacles stretched out from its round body!

These tentacles were like electric currents, shooting at all parts of my body at a very fast speed, and as they spread, a powerful and vigorous force began to burst out, making me feel as if I were stepping on the ground.

Mountains and rivers are forever silent, heaven and earth are empty, everything is empty, only I am true!

I somehow remembered the outer lion mark in my heart. The outer lion seal is an external power seal, but there are six changes, implying that it is fierce and resolute, and it is straightforward to repay grievances.

The mind was racing, the tail fingers of both hands were probed forward, the thumb was stretched out from under the index finger, and the mind had just reached the seal method. This speed is beyond imagination, but it is only a hundredth of a second, which is very different from the regular sealing.

Not only that, but as the mudra formed in my heart, the Vajrasattva Hammer Mantra, which combined with the outer lion mark to exert its greatest effect, also sounded immediately, meditating on the Vajrasattva Duo of the Great Sun!

At the same time, there was a five-character proverb ringing in my heart!

Pander to! Airplanes! Bellow! Phew! Ga!

The surging true qi and two completely different voices of the heart rise and fall one after another, resonating with each other, and the mystery is indescribable......
