Chapter 2 I Am a Jade Connoisseur II
May 4th, 4 p.m., Qinghai-Tibet line. Cheerful Tibetan songs were played on the westbound train, but not very loudly. Shen Yuan lay on the soft sleeper top bunk and didn't close his eyes for almost a day and a night. It's been three days since I got that call. Until now, Shen Yuan still couldn't believe that he had been called by a stranger and had been taken to a Tibetan area thousands of kilometers away. It was not so much the curiosity of the unknown that drove him, but the curiosity of his own family inheritance urging him to find out quickly!
The call three days ago was from a Tibetan named Tashi. Mandarin is not bad. After a simple and polite greeting, Tashi directly asked Shen Yuan a question that made him sweat instantly!
"Excuse me, does Mr. Shen have the ability to inherit jade?"
"、、、 how do you know? 、、、”
Shen Yuan still remembers that he was panting and asking these words with trembling hands. Later, Tashi intermittently told him the origin of the call、、、 Tashi had been asked to search for him for more than five months. He was looking for a lama.
In the mountain behind Minzhulin Temple in Shannan, the little-known Danda Lama in Minzhulin Temple asked him to find the descendants of the Shenyuan family who were engaged in the ancient jade antique business. The Grand Lama only gave Shen Yuan's great-grandfather's name, the characteristics of the family's business, and a vague general direction. Please ask Tashi, who has been walking in the northern Han land all the year round, to find the descendants of Shen Yuan's great-grandfather. Tashi was born into an aristocratic family in Shannan, Tibet, and traveled extensively, and his family had deep friendships with many religious figures in the capital, as well as some political and business figures. This time, according to the guidance of Lama Danga, he launched a lot of connections, and carefully searched in Shengjing and several nearby cities, until he found Shen Yuan's deceased grandfather. Tashito's friends in Shengjing carefully searched for the descendants of Shenyuan's family, as well as their basic occupations and resumes. Shen Yuan is the only one who meets the key information provided by Lama Tedang --- to do the business of antiques and jade.
In addition to being surprised, Shen Yuan felt a little uneasy about Tashi finding out all his clansmen. Although he didn't say it explicitly, he still asked who Tashi had entrusted him. What channel? Tashi is a delicate and translucent person, and he can see through it at all. immediately explained the situation of his family and several official figures he had entrusted. In the end, with almost a hint of pleading, he repeatedly explained how highly respected, how profound the Dharma, and how compassionate 、、、 the Lama Teng was about some secrets of Minzhu Linghou Monastery. I had no choice but to look for a needle in a haystack to find the descendants of the Shen family、、、 just because Shen Yuanzu had a relationship with Minzhu Linhou Temple、、、 in short! Showing goodwill and pleading in every way, I hope that Shen Yuan can go to Minzhu Linghou Monastery to meet with Lama Teanga for a while、、、
Shen Yuan didn't believe it!
Joke! Shen Yuan, who is already in the antique shop, knows the sinister nature of human nature, how could he go to Shannan, thousands of miles away, to see a lama who is looking for him but has never met because of a phone call and the information of his ancestors told by the other party? In addition, Tashi only said that he was looking for a man in his family who was still engaged in the antique jade business. Knowing that the Shen family has a family heirloom method of appreciating jade, it seems that he doesn't know anything about Shen Yuan's strange perception ability. After Shen Yuan was taken aback, he became suspicious.
Seeing that Shen Yuan didn't seem to be interested, Tashi was in a hurry. So, he used the killer weapon he had cultivated by doing business in Handi!
Under Shen Yuan's increasingly vigilant attitude, Tashi begged for Shen Yuan's bank card number, and directly called Shen Yuan's card for 50,000 yuan! Said: The cost of the journey、、、
Shen Yuan believed.
First, the other party's understanding of Shen Yuan's great-grandfather is almost all consistent with the life of his great-grandfather that Shen Yuan's grandfather described to him. Second, no swindler can spend so much money on a small antique dealer! Shen Yuan looked around at his small shop, and then counted all the belongings hidden at home, and confirmed that there were not many antique jade items on hand that were worth such an expensive unit price. Even if he was abducted, he didn't kidnap a cunning man like himself, and he had a lot of food、、、
What's more, Shen Yuan always vaguely felt that the Dan Da Lama seemed to really have an intersection with his great-grandfather. It is even possible to understand the origin of his family and Gu Yu, and understand what his special ability to perceive Gu Yu's emotions is all about!
Of course, the last reassurance! It's still the 50,000 yuan 'travel fee'.
Shen Yuan, who was lying on the top bunk, didn't eat lunch, and his stomach was full of questions and curiosity, as well as a trace of inexplicable fear, tormented him all the way. After departure, Tashi picked him up at the high-speed rail station in the capital. Extremely warm greetings、Like an old friend who hasn't seen each other for many years。 Tashi is 41 years old and has been working as a cordyceps business in the northern capital and nearby cities for many years. There is also an antique shop in Panjiayuan that has been operating for more than ten years, which can be regarded as Shenyuan's peers. Originally, he planned to go to Shengjing to escort Shen Yuan to Shannan, but a big business in Tashi's capital was at a critical juncture, and he couldn't get out. I couldn't book a plane ticket again, so I had to take a train to Lhasa by myself. He helped set up a soft sleeper, and also arranged for someone to pick up the station in Lhasa, and directly escorted Shen Yuan to Minzhulin Temple. and made a bold appointment, Shen Yuan must fly to the capital first on the return trip, and he wants to make amends and thank him for his sins、、、
Shen Yuan had a good impression of Tashi, although he wanted to let him go all the way to Tibet. But the sincerity of the words and the attitude that never procrastinate hypocrisy. Let Shen Yuan feel that this is a hearty Tibetan man, at least for the time being, he is trustworthy. Shen Yuan decided to --- to take a look!
Two days later、、、 four bunks in the train compartment were occupied. During the tourist season, scenic spots and roads are full of people. Even the Qinghai-Tibet line is no exception. Shen Yuan's bunk is occupied by a teenage Tibetan girl and her grandmother living opposite. The other one who lives on the upper bunk should be a traveler, who is not very old and is a taciturn person like Shen Yuan. Often not in the box, the addiction to smoking seems to be not small. I always go out silently alone, and then come back with the smell of smoke and lie down and rest silently.
After two days of cranky thinking, the train was almost at the end. Shen Yuan felt a little hungry. Tashi's nephew, who had arranged to pick him up yesterday morning, called and tactfully apologized. It means that he can't entertain distinguished guests in Lhasa properly, and he may have to drive Shen Yuan to Minzhu Linhou Temple overnight. Master Tenzin was very anxious to see the distinguished guest soon、、、 Shen Yuan's anxiety became more and more serious. What is it that is so anxious to solve it yourself? Jianyu? Minzhulin Temple has an ancient jade business to do? Dig up the treasure jade? It shouldn't be! Wouldn't it be best to appreciate the hype and invite those experts who are often on TV in Sijiu City. What's the use of finding yourself? Is there an ancient jade in the temple? Want to negotiate on your own? Do you have that ability、、、
"Uncle! Are you hungry? 'Only' one is a cheese cake for you to eat."
A timid voice that didn't bite the words accurately interrupted Shen Yuan's thoughts. A little Tibetan girl sleeping on the lower bunk stood next to Shen Yuan's bunk, holding two milky white snacks the size of small moon cakes and talking to Shen Yuan. The slender body swayed gently with the shaking of the train.
Shen Yuan's eyes widened a little, and he hurriedly excused himself, "Oops! Thank you, little friend, uncle is not hungry! ”
The little girl had a sweet smile on her red face: "You haven't eaten at noon!" You will be hungry, grandma said that you Han people are hungry in the plateau and are easy to get sick. The cheese cake is made by Grandma, and it is delicious! You taste."
The grandma who was sitting on the lower bunk opposite smiled and said to Shen Yuan: "Eat something, young man, Zhuoma said that you have eaten a boxed lunch in the morning until now." If you have something on your mind, you can't stop eating. ”
Before Shen Yuan could think about what to say to the eldest sister, Xiao Zhuoma grabbed the edge of the bed and directly stuffed two mooncake-shaped snacks with a milky fragrance into Shen Yuan's hands.
"Let's eat!" The little girl then turned around and jumped into her mother's arms, and the Tibetan eldest sister looked at Shen Yuan and smiled, then lowered her head and began to help Zhuoma tidy up her braids, which had become a little unkempt due to the long-distance train. Shen Yuan smiled and said thank you to Xiao Zhuoma, and Xiao Zhuoma grinned and showed Shen Yuan a bright smile and two front teeth like rabbits. The blush and redness on her face make people think that she is getting more and more cute.
The cheese cake is a little sweet and slightly hard in the mouth, but it quickly becomes soft and fragrant. The cheese and milky flavors instantly 'explode' in the mouth、、、 delicious、、、
After getting off the bus, Shen Yuan's phone was out of battery, and Shen Yuan walked briskly towards the exit of the station while thinking about finding a place to recharge the battery so that he could contact Tashi's nephew named Ngawang. As a result, the scene in front of him made him a little crying and laughing. Next to the exit of the station, a Tibetan young man with curly hair and big dark skin was holding aloft a cardboard torn from a cardboard box, on which were written crooked two Chinese characters 'Shen Yuan'、、、 Ngawang who seemed to be unable to get through the phone reacted quickly, and immediately thought of this good idea!
Sure enough, without any stops, after recognizing each other, Ngawang diligently hugged Shen Yuan's backpack and the two went straight to the parking lot. After getting into a dust-faced old Toyota 4500, the two drove through the outer ring road of Lhasa and drove directly to the Minzhulin Monastery, which was more than 200 kilometers away. Several times, Shen Yuan wanted to euphemistically express the problem that he needed to eat, but Ah Wang, who was driving, was a little excited and introduced the situation in Mandarin that was not very fluent. How far is it, what mountain passes will you pass, what temples will you pass by, and the intersection you just passed is only a dozen kilometers away from the Potala Palace、、、 Shen Yuan was very depressed, "Isn't it possible for Tibetan compatriots to entertain guests from time to time when they get to dinner?" Just when Shen Yuan couldn't bear it anymore and was about to euphemistically protest, Ngawang shouted "Oops! It's more than 400 miles away, and we're going to have dinner on the way、、、"
Shen Yuan secretly rolled his eyes and thought to himself: I thought that the Tibetan compatriots all did not eat lunch and had no dinner、、、
After going south of Lhasa, about dozens of kilometers, suddenly, the front of the car was open, and a majestic and magnificent canyon flashed. Shen Yuan couldn't help but sit up straight in the co-pilot seat, and Ah Wang, who was next to him, immediately explained: "Brother Shen Yuan! In front of you is the Qushui Bridge! The following is the Brahmaputra River. ”
"The 、、、 of the Brahmaputra River" Shen Yuan suddenly realized now that he had really walked on the snowy plateau. Lhasa, the Potala Palace, the Brahmaputra River, Shannan、、、 these names that have only been read in books and hastily appreciated on TV seem to be far away in the sky. Now、I am opening a mysterious intersection with myself、、、
"Brother Shen Yuan! The two of us had dinner in Gonggar County. I'm in for a treat! I recognize an old Tibetan restaurant! It tastes good! The more Ngawang spoke, the more energetic he became.
"Good! Thank you very much for your hospitality. It's all up to you. Shen Yuan began to think that this Tibetan young man in his twenties, who was full of half-baked Mandarin, was quite interesting.
"Hey, hey! That's the way it should be. You are the honored guest of Lama Tengga, and the distinguished guest who has come from afar will entertain you well. ”
Standing in front of what Ngawang called 'a delicious Tibetan restaurant'. Shen Yuan felt that the large group of "bleating" sounds next to him was not sheep, but a large group of "grass and mud horses" trampling on the heart、、、 the 'good smell' was not smelled, but the smell of cow dung and sheep dung came to his nose. originally thought that Gongga County would have to have two decent restaurants. Clean hall boxes, special food, and preferably a little singing and dancing performance, offering a Hada to sing two sentences of 'Tashi Delek' or something、、、 but Awang, the stinky boy, did not stay in the county seat at all, and ran directly out of the county more than ten kilometers away, and stopped at the door of a row of tattered Tibetan-style bungalows about 100 meters away from the national highway. He also told Shen Yuan mysteriously: This is an old restaurant that only locals know. The taste is overwhelming!
Ngawang, who had parked the car, rushed over and pulled Shen Yuan to step on the sheep eggs with excellent 'foot feeling' all over the ground, and opened the Tibetan door curtain with the auspicious Ruyi Eight Treasures pattern and walked in. 'Boom'! Under the yellowing incandescent lamp, Shen Yuan only felt the fishy smell of cattle and sheep, the smell of ghee, the smell of meat, the smell of milk, the smell of barley wine, the smell of sweat on people, the smell of leather, and the smell of burning Tibetan incense. Modern clothing is mixed with traditional Tibetan clothing, but it matches the people here! Here are the words! Here's the taste! Singing here! But it was so coordinated、、、、、、 Shen Yuan suddenly felt that he. I just arrived in Tibet、、、
"Sit down! Brother Shen Yuan. Ngawang pulled Shen Yuan and squeezed him to a wooden table in the corner of the wall. Press Shen Yuan to sit on the polished stool.
"Don't worry、Here's what's inside。 It's better than those in the city! Well, it's a mess. But you'll know it as soon as you eat it! Ngawang was still happily packing the tickets.
Shen Yuan watched the Tibetans in this big room happily eating and drinking, talking with great interest, and from time to time a few melodious and cheerful songs came into his ears, and he was already a little overwhelmed, feeling that he had suddenly come to a foreign country. Forget the sheep poop eggs that are full of soles, what I hear, see, and smell is all extremely fresh and unfamiliar!
Ngawang said something to the old grandmother who came to greet the guests, and she should be ordering. But there are no menus or anything like that. Shen Yuan suddenly began to look forward to what food would be on his table in a moment! Tsampa butter tea? Yak meat? It seems that I only know about these Tibetan foods、、、
"This is sweet tea, barley wine, this is cold beef tongue, oh! This is blood sausage and sheep, this is potato buns, and this is lung filling and fried! It's all authentic and as good as grandma does! "Plates of food that Shen Yuan had never heard of were put on the table with a rich and fragrant taste, and Ngawang was introducing! Shen Yuan didn't say a word, picked up the greasy chopsticks、、、 let's 'make'!"
While munching, Ngawang proudly and enthusiastically explained the customs of Tibetan food. Tibetans never eat the meat of horses, donkeys and other ungulate livestock, nor do they eat five-clawed chickens, ducks, geese, dogs, rabbits, and otters. Tibetans in most areas also do not eat fish and poultry meat. The meat of pigs, cows, sheep, deer, and other animals of the cloven-hoofed species is eaten. When you are a serious guest to a banquet, there are many rules. You can't shout loudly and drink barley wine, pay attention to "three sips and one cup", that is, take a sip first and pour it full; Take another sip and fill it again; I took a third sip and poured it all to the brim.
Generally, at the banquet, the host and the hostess have to sing a wine song to toast, and there is a special girl who toasts at the grand banquet, which is called "Chong Xiongma" in Tibetan. They dressed in the most luxurious costumes, sang the most beautiful drinking songs, and took turns to persuade them to drink until the guests were drunk、、、 Tibetans used to use their hands and knives to eat, and the small and delicate Tibetan knives were not only handy portable tools, but also tableware with the same function as knives, forks and chopsticks. Of course, stabbing wolves and stabbing people for self-defense is also a sharp weapon in a hurry、、、 now, Tibetans in some areas with serious sinicization do not pay so much attention to the importance of ingredients. Chopsticks are also becoming popular、、、、、、
After a full meal and wine, Ngawang settled the bill and the two continued on their way. In the car, Ngawang was still talking to Shen Yuan about various delicacies in Tibet. Shen Yuan always felt that the smell in the restaurant, which seemed to be a mixture of countless flavors, accompanied by the rapid Tibetan language and singing, had been deeply imprinted into his body and memory! I'm afraid I won't be able to forget it in this life.
At the beginning of May, it was still a little cold in Tibet. Seeing that Shen Yuan was not high and a little drowsy, Ngawang turned on the warm breeze and hummed a song all the way. Shen Yuan suddenly thought at this time: Ngawang is drunk driving! 、、、
"Brother Shen Yuan, it's time to Minzhulin Temple! The road to the back mountain is not easy to walk, you have to hold on! Ngawang's reminder made Shen Yuan sober up all of a sudden.
"Oh! Okay, I just fell asleep, it's getting dark、、、 how long have we been gone? Shen Yuan rubbed his eyes vigorously.
"It's been almost four hours, and I'm about to enter the mountain. I just called the Hou Monastery, and Lama Teanga should still be waiting for you! "Ngawang is still in good spirits.
"What the hell is Lama Tenga asking me for? Your uncle said he didn't know, and you couldn't tell, but there was always a clue, right? When the matter came, Shen Yuan still wanted to ask Ngawang for some reason, although he asked Ngawang and his uncle Tashi many times but did not get any satisfactory answer.
"Lama Teang is a truly virtuous monk and a great achiever. It's a family honor to serve him, don't worry. There must be a reason why the Great Lama invited you to come. The Great Lama is too old, too old, almost a hundred years old! It is the same existence as the guardian of our Shannan, King Kong. All your life, just do good deeds! ”
Shen Yuan quieted down and looked at the potholed road under the headlights in front of him. Full of apprehension、、、
Minzhu Linhou Temple should be twenty or thirty miles away from the front temple, and Shenyuan Station is in front of the small mountain gate. Looking at the red-walled wooden door, I only felt an old desolation coming to my face. While he was stunned, Ngawang walked up the low steps with his luggage and pushed open the wooden door with familiarity. Turning around and slightly shorter, he greeted Shen Yuan with a little excitement and a little humility: "Brother Shen Yuan, please come in!" Lama Tenga must still be waiting for you! ”
"Oh! Good. Shen Yuan hurriedly crossed the threshold and followed Ngawang towards the temple quickly.
Strangely no monks came out to greet him, as if they were all hiding. There is no glittering lighting, and there is an old atmosphere everywhere. Through the dim light from the front hall and the monk's house next to it, Shen Yuan vaguely saw that the doors and windows surrounding the courtyard of the courtyard were painted with auspicious curtains fluttering in the wind. The temple was silent, and no Dharma instruments could be heard, and the chanting was melodious. But the strong Tibetan fragrance still makes people feel awe-inspired.
Turning the front hall and passing through two small wooden doors, a not-so-large apse appeared in front of it. "The Dharma Protector Temple has arrived, and the Great Lama is waiting for you." Ngawang motioned to Shen Yuan to enter the temple by himself with a devent face. Shen Yuan looked up at this Dharma Protector Temple. There are many human head-like patterns painted on the door frames and lintels, and the expressions are indescribably hideous or pious. Looking at the already mottled oil paint, Shen Yuan only felt a pang of tension in his heart, "Is it finally about to face the family secret that he has always been eager to reveal and has a little fear?"
Shen Yuan was just about to take a step. At this moment, the curtain of the door was gently lifted from the inside. A thin and thin little lama in a red robe held the curtain with one hand inside the door, and with the other hand tightly supported a lama with short gray hair, a rickety waist and a somewhat dark and pale face stepped out.
The moment the four eyes met, Shen Yuan only felt his heart tighten suddenly, and then instantly relaxed. Because the old lama's eyes are so peaceful, so quiet that he seems to be able to see through all the troubles of people! Looking at these eyes, Shen Yuan only felt that all the fears and questions in his heart seemed to be answered by the old lama, and there was 、、、 relief!
"Welcome, Tashi Delek. Guests from afar. Lama Tenzin saluted with his left hand holding the beads and greeted Shen Yuan, who was in a daze. Shen Yuan hurriedly folded his hands and bowed back: "Tashi Delexiu, it's a pleasure to see you 、、、 Master Tenzin"
At this time, Ngawang, who was a little overwhelmed in the back, bent down and stepped forward. Gently prostrate in front of Lama Danga, his forehead touched the feet of the great lama, and he hurriedly spoke a string of Tibetan words, and his words were respectful. Lama Dangai bent down and rubbed the top of Ngawang's head and whispered two words in response. Ngawang quickly got up excitedly and handed Shen Yuan's backpack to the little lama next to him. He bowed to Lama Danga, bowed to Shen Yuan, and then turned around and hurriedly walked outside the temple.
"Come in, my guest. You must have a lot of questions to ask me urgently. I'll answer them all、、、" Lama Dan stepped sideways. Then go first to the temple. Shen Yuan hurriedly followed.
The lights in the main hall are still a little dim, and the three statues of the Dharma Protector are holding magic weapons. The lanterns on the offering table swayed gently with the flow of air. The murals on the surrounding walls are painted with the images of various protectors, and the incense in the air is smoking, and the smell is strong, as if it is about to form a substance. Just when Shen Yuan was hesitating whether to kneel on the futon and worship, he suddenly found that Lama Dangai had been supported and slowly turned to the back door of the main hall. Shen Yuan hurriedly followed.
Turning the back door, there was a row of slightly low monks' houses with lights on. Lama Tenzin turned around and signaled, and Shen Yuan followed the two into the middle room.
The smell of Tibetan incense still emanates from the room, and there is a slightly dim light. There is not much space in the room, and there is no furniture such as sofas and coffee tables. A stove, a few tall futons, a biblical reading case. There are several old thangkas on the wall, an offering table with Buddha statues, incense tables, butter lamps, two red cabinets in the corner, and nothing else.
The little lama carefully helped Lama Tenzin to sit down on a high futon with thick cushions against the wall, and quickly straightened the high futon opposite the old lama. Please go and sit down. Shen Yuan sat cross-legged across from Lama Tenan, calmly staring at the monk, who was said to be over a hundred years old, without speaking first.
"I searched for you in such a hurry, and I traveled thousands of miles. I'm sorry for you. ”
"Where, since you have some relationship with my ancestors, Master. Anything should be done by the younger generation. As long as it is within the reach of the juniors, the juniors will not shirk! Shen Yuan hurriedly took out the antique dealer's eight-sided exquisiteness, and answered in a few words. It is not only a sufficient gesture, but also tantamount to refusing the unreasonable demands that the other party may make、、、
A smile bloomed on the old lama's old face. Shen Yuan noticed that most of the old lama's teeth were still intact. I can't help but have some doubts about the old lama's 100-year-old age.
"I did meet your great-grandfather."
In a word, it immediately made Shen Yuan's back numb.
"When? Inside this temple? ”
Eighty-one years ago, in the autumn of troubled times. When Lama Tenzin was a young novice, he met Shenyuan's great-grandfather --- the seventy-first generation of jade connoisseurs! It's in this Minzhu Forest-Rear Temple!
Minzhulin Monastery is one of the three major temples of the ancient Nyingma sect in Shannan area, that is, the Red Sect, located in Zhanang County, Shannan, is a main temple of the Nyingma sect in Qianzang, built in 1676 AD in the fifteenth year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, and was founded by a Tibetan master of the Nyingma sect, Dedaringpa Jigme Dorje. It is one of the two famous monasteries of the former Tibetan Nyingma sect, and the other is Dorjeeza Monastery. And Minzhu Linhou Temple、In fact, it is the predecessor of Minzhu Lin Temple。 Its history dates back to the very distant 15th century, when Lama Tsongkhapa existed. However, it has always been hidden in the hidden place of the mountain behind Minzhulin Temple, and has never been known to the world. Eighty-one years ago, Lama Tenga practiced as a minor novice under his guru, the then head of the Dharma Protector Temple, Grand Lama Sanchi. Accompanying his Guru, he witnessed the events that he will never forget.
'Shen Xiyin'--- Lama Dan still clearly remembers the name of Shen Yuan's great-grandfather. At that time, Shen Yuan's great-grandfather should have been less than thirty years old. With a clan brother, the two brothers were invited by Grand Lama Sanji to come to Minzhu Linhou Monastery to help deal with a tricky matter.
Minzhu Linhou Temple inherits the tantric legal system, and has always had the great ability to subdue demons, pray for blessings, and relieve disasters.
The content of Tantra is actually extremely complex, and it is divided into three parts, the Miscellaneous Tantra, the Tibetan Realm, and the Vajra Realm. The miscellaneous tantric parts are mostly rituals and incantations, and the emphasis on supernatural powers and spells is the earliest prototype of tantra, which retains all the spells and mysteries of tantra. Heterogeneous density, which originally meant impure or unsystematic tantra. In the Kaiyuan period, after the three great scholars translated the tantras of the Tibetan realm and the vajra realm, these two tantras were called pure tantras. In contrast to pure tantra, the esoteric scriptures, incantations, and spells that were translated before them were all called miscellaneous tans. The real miscellaneous secrets actually retain the early spells, such as illusions, gods, summoning, puppetry, blessings, rain, healing, warding off evil spirits, and even driving ghosts and gods, which can be called all-encompassing! Minzhu Linhou Temple, these secret inheritances, has always been secretive. However, the monks of its Dharma Protector Hall have been walking among the people in the pre-Tibetan area of Shannan for many years, helping the sick and the wounded, catching ghosts and exorcising evil spirits, and dealing with some hidden supernatural events, but they have never stopped.
Eighty-one years ago, the heavens and the earth were in turmoil, wars were raging, demons were dancing, and supernatural events were occurring one after another. Tibet is no exception. The Zhanang area was first hit by a small earthquake. Subsequently, local men, women and children were suddenly killed within a month after the Tibetan New Year of that year. In January, more than 20 people, young and old, all died tragically in the night、、、 all of whom were inexplicably exposed to the wilderness at night, with black marks on their necks and mutilated thumbs on both hands. When the corpse was collected, it was found that the mutilated thumbs of the deceased were all in the deceased's own mouth! Looking at the traces of the severed fingers, it seems that the deceased himself bit his fingers alive and put them in his mouth, and then strangled himself little by little! For a time, the herdsmen and the noble lords were all panicked, and they went to the temple to offer sacrifices and pray, and begged the monks and living Buddhas to stop the disasters with the supreme Buddhism. Hearing the news, the chief of the Dharma Protector Hall and the Grand Lama Sanchi personally led five disciples to carry Dharma instruments, scriptures, dried food and water to visit around the mountains and valleys. Relying on the secret method passed down from Tantra, the source of cholera was quickly determined、、、、、、 'Tomb of the Fingerless General'!
The 'Tomb of the Fingerless General' is said to be a tomb, but in fact it is a grave made of rocks mixed with loess. There is not even a monument, but the origin is well documented. As early as the 56th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, there was an invasion of Dzungar soldiers and horses in Tibetan areas. The purpose of the Dzungars was to control the Tibetan Buddhist forces in Tibet, and then rely on the influence of religion to order the Mongolian tribes who already practiced Tibetan Buddhism! In the end、、、 got involved in the Central Plains、、、
The Dzungars occupied Potala and other places in Tibet for three years, causing great disasters to Lhasa and the surrounding tribal monasteries. The fierce horse scimitar in the northwest has destroyed the original spirit of the Tibetan highlands that have been calm for a long time, and the noble monks are not immune. Emperor Kangxi dispatched troops to the imperial capital thousands of miles away, and sent thousands of troops to quell the rebellion. I don't know if the soldiers of the Eight Banners are not suitable for fighting on the plateau or are too light on the enemy, the Qing army and the Dzungar soldiers and horses fought in Nagqu in northern Tibet, and the result was a big defeat. After being defeated and fleeing, he was besieged by the Dzungars, and finally ran out of arrows and food, and the whole army was wiped out! For a time, the Dzungar soldiers and horses were arrogant, the entire plateau was panicked、、、 Emperor Kangxi was furious when he heard the news, and sent his favorite fourteenth son Yunyu to re-enter Qinghai and serve as the general of Fuyuan. The two armies of central Sichuan and northern Tibet were divided into joint attacks. Then unite with the Tibetans who are in the heart of the Central Plains to attack the hinterland of the plateau in one fell swoop, and finally won a complete victory after several battles! More than 5,000 enemies were killed.
In this battle, the commander of the right army of the Dzungar Department, known as the 'magic marksman', Dange and his subordinates. He was defeated in a battle in the river valley southeast of Lhasa. The Qing army recorded after the war: "Dange, brave and unmatched." Good shooting, left and right bows. Defeat but not discouraged, arrow cut off and fight to the death. As a result, the swords and armor were shattered, and dozens of people were slashed. After the defeat, he personally broke off and covered the rest of his troops and fled along the river valley、、、 "However, Dange still failed to escape from the overwhelming Eight Banners after all, on a rocky mountain in the north of Zhanang. Besieged by the Qing Corps, so far, more than 1,000 subordinates have all been killed! Dange is still fighting hard and swearing not to surrender! When the Qing soldiers finally captured it with a huge net and sent it to Yun Yu to give it to the horse, Dange was still scolding. Yun Yu remembered his bravery and allowed him to keep his whole body. Hold the bowstring of the giant bow he uses and hang Dange alive in front of the horse!
When Dange died, he ordered him to be buried on the spot. The soldiers were already exhausted by the hard work of the battle, and the heavy casualties in this battle, so they were naturally full of anger against this brave enemy general. At the time of the burial, as soon as the lord was gone, the soldiers began to loot his belongings. His clothes, armor and equipment have been damaged, and he will not bring much gold or silver with him when he goes into battle. Only the wrenches used to open the left and right bows on the thumbs of both hands are made of fine jade. So all the soldiers went up and robbed it. When Dange died, his fists were clenched, and everyone couldn't break them. A soldier simply raised his knife and cut off Dange's two thumbs directly, and took off the wrench! Somehow, the news quickly spread to Yun Yu. Yun Yu was afraid that he would fall into the reputation of 'insulting the corpse of the enemy general, and being narrow and tyrannical', so he personally reprimanded several soldiers. Then he ordered people to dig a deep pit and bury the body with the enemy's military flag, and all Dange's belongings were buried.
The subordinate Xiao Zuo Ling didn't dare to make another time this time, and dug a big pit to bury Dange deeply. No one dared to hide the two Meiyu wrenches, but the fingers had been cut off, and An couldn't go back, so how to deal with them made this leader a headache. One of his subordinates simply had an idea and suggested that instead of throwing his fingers in the pit and scattering them around, it was better to simply stuff them in his mouth! Anyway, the finger corpse was originally one、、、、、、"
In fact, in this battle, the Qing soldiers suffered heavy casualties under Dange's hands, and the enemy would have been able to dismantle the corpses of the enemy in the wilderness. But if the coach wants to make a good reputation, the servants below have to endure their anger. As for putting a finger into the mouth of the deceased and burying it, this kind of thing is purely a deliberate mistreatment of people. So, Dange's mouth was pried open by a knife, and then his two thumbs and two jade wrenches were stuffed in! Then, fill in the soil and bury it deeply.
It is well known that since ancient times. Almost all ethnic groups have the custom of placing utensils in the mouth of the deceased for burial. Whether it is all ethnic groups and countries, men, women and children, the deceased put a single utensil in his mouth. Jade blocks, shells, or evolved jade cicadas contain mouths. Until the later closed-mouth copper coins. It's all one. Paired, ominous.
After leaving Tibet for a long time, when Shen Yuan learned the family heirloom jade connoisseur method, he achieved a little success. recalled this past, and realized that Dange was buried that year. How many taboos have been committed--- strangulation of bowstrings, death of swords, "suffering" of anger, residual armor, killing corpses after death, double jade in the mouth, burial without a coffin, head to east and feet to west, and finally a bloody food in the mouth! {Or his own flesh and blood} It's really hell if something doesn't happen.
Grand Lama Sanji has presided over the Dharma Protector Hall of Minzhu Linhou Monastery for many years, and the Dharma is profound and has the means of subduing demons inherited by Tantra. followed the clues all the way to the 'Fingerless General's Grave'. As soon as Kaihui looked at it, in broad daylight, he saw that the black air was running through the sky on the top of this rocky mound, and the whirlwind was blowing all around. Faintly from the tomb came out of the squeaky wail、、、 Sanji Lama and his disciples immediately laid out a trick, the great lama sat in front of the tomb, recited tantric scriptures and forcibly exceeded. Each of the five disciples holds a dharma weapon to separate the parties, and divides the five tantric demon suppression mudras. The six masters and apprentices immediately wanted to forcibly suppress the evil that had surpassed this place, so that it would not harm one party again. But the Dharma is done until it is dark, and the evil spirit here does not fade. Instead, it gets stronger and stronger as the sun sets. Finding it a little tricky, Grand Lama Sanchi took out the sutras written with cinnabar mixed with gold and silver, and then blessed them with the incense of the temple all year round and pasted them around the tomb. Finally, he took out a yellowed conch, recited the incantation silently, and then blew it in front of the grave. The disciples sat down with Dharma weapons and chanted mantras non-stop. If so、、、 chanting mantra and singing the conch until midnight, the yin wind is shouting, and the evil spirit is still depressed. Grand Lama Sanchi was already getting anxious.
Before going up the mountain, Grand Lama Sanchi had done some homework. It is known that there is a general who died in battle. It should be the ground movement a year ago, which broke the topography of the grave. The body must have been turned over as well. The ghosts inside have not dissipated, and they have come out to wreak havoc on living beings. But I didn't expect the resentment of the undead to be so strong! Usually, the means that are more than enough to suppress some evil spirits are useless.
Everything is impermanent, and everything is fixed. Dange was strangled to death by his own bowstring in a fit of rage, and he didn't let out a breath of resentment. And this man's last breath before he died was actually very wonderful. In some places, this tone is called "disaster", which is the product of the deceased's obsession, resentment and unwillingness. It is a kind of evil spirit, and everyone avoids it. People who drowned, strangled, hanged. This breath will be stuffed in the corpse, and it will easily become evil.
Therefore, in many supernatural legends, there are legends of hanged ghosts and water ghosts harming people and catching stand-ins. This is definitely not groundless、、、 after Dange's death, it was unlucky to have double jade in his mouth, plus his own flesh and blood in his mouth. A situation of 'blood supply for unjust souls' has been formed. Years of grievances have not been dispersed, and the innate aura of the two jade stones is the guide. The evil qi in the tomb made the two complementary jade stones nourish more and more powerful. At that time, there was a broken military flag wrapped around the corpse, and the soldiers of the military flag were evil. I barely suppressed this unjust spirit. It just so happened that this time the ground moved, the corpses were turned over, and the rotten military flag was also reduced to nothing. All of a sudden, he released a long-standing unjust soul, and since then he has been in trouble everywhere.
Grand Lama Sanchi is worried, now. It's a stalemate. The resentful spirits in the underground can't be exceeded, and once the six masters and apprentices let go, I'm afraid the main owner will have to rush out immediately to take revenge! Not to mention saving people, some of these apprentices have to die on the spot. Thinking of this, the Grand Lama Sanchi recited the Buddha's name. Slowly stood up. Slowly, he took out a silver glittering Vajra Demon Pestle from the magic bag he carried. When several disciples saw it, they immediately knew what the Great Lama was going to do. However, chanting sutras and holding mantras to suppress resentful spirits could not be stopped at this time, and could only beg the master with his eyes to beg bitterly not to do this. The Grand Lama ignored the pleas of the crowd and motioned for them to continue chanting mantras without stopping. Then suddenly he recited the Buddha horn loudly! Walk in front of the grave and cut the blood in your left wrist with a single sword!
When the spell is used to stir up the mana, the blood veins run quickly. This knife released not only a large amount of blood, but also the great wish power and blood essence that Lama Sanchi had painstakingly cultivated! Immediately, blood splattered all over the grave, and the face of the great lama turned gray almost instantly, and his body was already shaky. The Great Lama tried his best to "sneer"! Plunge the demon pestle into the top of the grave, and suddenly! Everyone seemed to hear an extremely sad and mournful howl from the ground, as if they had slashed a knife in the heart. The Grand Lama slowly sat down on the ground, his hands folded and chanting the Buddha's name, the red monk's robe dripping with blood dripping was mottled. The lamas were already anxious when they saw that the lama used the secret method of sacrificing blood to suppress the resentful spirits, and they saw that the evil resentful spirits had begun to fall silent at this moment. Several people rushed forward, bandaging the guru and stopping the bleeding, crying and complaining about why the guru did not care about him so much.
Grand Lama Sanchi swallowed a few pills of jet-black pills without saying a word. His face was still sallow as gold paper. After a long time, I tried to open my eyes and order everyone, "The four magic weapons of demon suppression are buried in the four corners and the grave is opened!" ”
