Talk about Sohova (free chapter)
Some old readers may know that the characters of the book "The Future of the Seventh" are based on the five heroines of my previous "Future Daughters to Find Them". Because the last book only wrote 300,000 words, it was justice from heaven, so I was unwilling to rewrite it by typing on the keyboard.
Of course, I had other interesting settings on hand at the time. But clinging to this story, maybe just for a breath.
A few days ago, I happened to see someone discussing Sohova, and they had a lot of criticism for me, so I thought I would like to explain it a little. I'm also happy to share my writing process with readers.
The prototype of Sohohua is called Lin Jiayun, and I have forgotten the mentality when I created the character of Lin Jiayun, maybe it was just to create a sister character of a charming house.
I'm ashamed to say that when I first wrote about my future daughter, I simply wanted to write a light-hearted house, but maybe it was because of my old-fashioned personality, and the more I wrote, the more serious I became.
The sister role is the standard role of all harem texts, and this sister cannot be related by blood in the online text, so this Lin Jiayun's sister has become adopted.
I believe I didn't think so much about Lin Jiayun when I first wrote the character, she just needs to be well-behaved. But as the story becomes more and more realistic, her character has also changed, and I have paid more attention to the psychological activities of these heroines.
The half-sister setting itself is very common, but being common doesn't mean there's logic.
Especially before the news broke out, it was said that an eighteen-year-old boy put his hand into a young girl's clothes and molested him, and later the boy's family said that the young girl was also from their family, trying to exonerate the boy, but with the investigation, it was learned that the young girl was adopted by their family.
Isn't this a child daughter-in-law?
I instinctively thought that when I was in junior high school, my family was also planning to adopt a girl from the countryside who had both parents to come into our house, and they said a lot of inexplicable things to me. Only then gave up.
The stark reality was in front of me, and I felt that the family on the news was disgusting. At least the girl my parents were going to adopt at that time was a year or two older than me.
And through this news and thinking about what happened to me, I believe that there are definitely a lot of modern "child brides" in places that we can't see.
Out of irony, I added this setting to Lin Jiayun, she is the half-sister of the protagonist, because she is the protagonist's child daughter-in-law.
Of course, I don't want to praise the phenomenon of child daughters-in-law, I actually want to criticize it, so Lin Jiayun was trembling, and she had hatred and fear in her heart.
But this setting was added temporarily, and it seems a little forced in "Future Daughter". So in my "Seventh", it was buried from the beginning.
But as I also said, "Septate" is a commercial web article. So when rewriting "Seven Equal Parts", Sohohua's character design has been adjusted a lot compared to Lin Jiayun. The identity of the "child daughter-in-law" is more straightforward.
Why is she just a "child daughter-in-law" for the protagonist? Was her real idea to embrace it from the start? What should Su Mo do as a boy and as a male protagonist?
Therefore, Su Mo's primary school adolescence will also take advantage of Su Hohua, Su Hohua's resentment and pain have been foreshadowed from the beginning, and Su Mo himself will take the initiative to reflect on and self-criticize this behavior.
But after all, the seventh division is a fairy-tale business online article, so the ending is that Sohohua inevitably becomes a brother control and a favorite plot. And due to the limitations of the platform, some events in society cannot be described too much, so in my opinion, the irony of this phenomenon is far from enough.
And because of the subject matter, this is not suitable for writing a plot that is too dark and cruel, so I don't dare to describe the darker side of "Child Daughter-in-law".
I've always wanted to scold this phenomenon in my heart, but I can't do it because of commercialization and platform restrictions.
Because I know very well that the existence of the "child daughter-in-law" Su Hohua is Su Mo's "original sin", you can say that Su Mo is innocent, but if you want to criticize this phenomenon, the two of them should not be together.
My mind was rocking, I knew how I was going to write, and I was sure I was going to write, but I just kept procrastinating and didn't make a detailed outline until I had to face the plot before I hurriedly put down the pen, and finally Sohohua changed overnight in the hotel.
So from then on, I didn't really want to write about the character of Soho Hua, she has become a very cliché model heroine. And the popularity of this heroine is too high, this is the popularity that comes with her attribute, so high that I almost lost the motivation to write about her.
Maybe normal authors will deliberately write some popular characters in order to attract readers, but I am not a qualified author, I think that since readers already like her so much, it is better to put more pen and ink on other heroines, and strive to make each heroine similar in popularity. Whenever I see the popularity of the heroine I'm writing about, I feel a sense of accomplishment, but I have been a little frustrated by writing about Yun Yueying recently, but fortunately, she will have a real plot soon, and her popularity should rise a little.
Of course, this is only secondary.
The most important reason is that after the plot of the hotel, as soon as I wrote about Su Hohua, I felt that it was a satire on myself, I obviously wanted to criticize this phenomenon, but I made the child daughter-in-law fall in love with Su Mo, the "perpetrator", as if I was singing praises to this phenomenon of "child daughter-in-law".
Everyone can understand why Su Hohua fell in love with Su Mo, Su Mo is simply the embodiment of perfection, both civil and military, both businessmen, Yushu is in the wind, and Su Hohua is well protected. If there is really a person like Su Mo in reality, it must be difficult for a girl not to fall in love with him.
But I feel in my heart that there shouldn't be a plot like a "child daughter-in-law" falling in love with "Little Master", but Su Hohua has been one of Su Mo's heroines from the beginning, and of course she has to love Su Mo. This is an unavoidable contradiction.
So there's nothing wrong with anyone here, it's me who was wrong from the beginning.
Ever since my brother and sister confessed that night at the hotel, I felt that the plot of Sohohua was beyond my writing. Although that plot was complained about in a hurry, I don't want to change it.
As you may have noticed when you look at me, I often have some frivolous sarcasm in me. Many readers say that if you are not so high and a little more cool, the book will definitely get a good grade. But it's not that I'm pretentious, but my character and ability really can't write that kind of cool essay, I really want to write that kind of essay, fast and profitable, who doesn't want to make money? The man just tried, and it ended up hitting the street.
Back to the topic, after the hotel, Sohohua's description is obviously much less, and it is routine, probably because he can't get over this hurdle in his heart.
Again, I'm not saying that Sohohua shouldn't fall in love with Su Mo, but that there shouldn't be a plot where a "victim" falls in love with a "perpetrator", and I shouldn't write the "perpetrator" so decently that they can be happy, because it seems to whitewash this behavior.
Because of this phenomenon in reality, the man will not be a good person like Su Mo 99%. I often wondered, if my parents had really taken that girl over back then, would I have held back when I was at the most restless of adolescence? I think I'm barely a good person, but I don't think I can suppress that desire. How pitiful that woman must be.
Of course, this is just an online article, not realistic literature, and I don't have the pen power of Mo Yan, Jia Pingwa, Lu Yao and other gods, and even if it is as strong as Jia Pingwa, I have also turned over the car in the book "Extreme Flower".
So Su Hohua is still in love with Su Mo, and I also woke up because of a video I saw by chance.
It's just YY text, what do you struggle with yourself? Besides, the character of Soho Hua is innocent, I don't want to write about her, I'm just cowardly evading.
So I changed Soho Hua's character slightly to make her a serious and undisciplined character, which can also correspond to the description above.
Having said so much, it seems that I didn't analyze Sohohua's character too much, but just talked to you about Sohohua's creation process.
Actually, I originally wanted to write about Su Ho Hua, Yin Linlang and Dong Duanyao today, but I didn't expect that just one Su Ho Hua would be more than my usual text, I was really unexpectedly verbose, and I forgot a lot of what I wanted to say at the moment.
But in fact, I really like to communicate with readers about the content, and the next time I have the opportunity, I may have a live broadcast to chat with the big guys.
That's it for this time, good night. Yin Linlang and Dong Duanyao will write it next time. Next is the plot of Dong Duanyao and Yun Yueying...... I also have to take the time to make up for a comic exhibition Shura field.
