Hello everyone, I'm A Clockwork Orange Dream.

First of all, the title of the book is clearly a nod to Verno Vinci's famous novel "Real Names", which is also the foundation work of early cyberpunk literature. Although this work has little to do with the content of this novel, there is an important setting that has the same core connotation:

"Real Names and Real Names" begins, "In the age of magic, any wizard regarded his real name as the most cherished secret, and once the wizard's adversary got his real name, he could kill him or make him his slave with any common magic known to everyone";

Let's imagine a highly networked era: you can call the wind and rain in the virtual world, and it seems that you can do anything; But if your identity and IP address are exposed to others, and someone hits you along the network cable or comes to check the water meter, you're screwed, and you're screwed up — to use a subculture buzzword, "I'm hitting the Internet, but I'm only willing to do it in reality."

With the genius of his imagination, Verno Vinci bridged a occult notion that should have been eliminated in the age of scientific advancement with a concern for a future era of global networks (Real Names and Real Names was published in 1981). This subtle play, that's what I had in mind before writing this book.

In fact, the first version of this work (now lying in the computer recycle bin) is quite similar to "Real Names", because it is a novel with a "cyberpunk worldview" in the general sense. Unfortunately, when I was going to open the pit at the starting point, it happened to be the beginning of this year's crackdown...... I checked the outline and settings, and felt that the probability of overturning was very high, so I simply stopped writing.

I'm not reconciled, and I'm ready to change it and send it again. So, how do you do that?

Let's go back to the concept of real names. In addition to the works of Verno Vinci, what else can readers and friends associate with?

That's right, there may be some Co fantasy fans who can already react to it: Ursula Le Guin's masterpiece "The Legend of Earthsea...... Of course,This topic is actually not directly related to this work.,I'm just a little inspired by it.,The pen turned around.,Thinking about writing a fantasy.。

It's just not Western, it's Chinese. To be more precise, it is a domestic online text.

It's a cliché to talk about works that link science fiction and fantasy — there is no clear distinction between these two types of literature in the Western world — and there's a special genre called science fantasy. The kind of stories that smash mros. and tech brawl are typical.

Under the general category of "scientific fantasy", there is also a subcategory called "future fantasy", which generally takes place in the future after a long period of time, because of great disasters or wars, civilization regresses to ancient times. But because of the influence left over from the once developed technology, the ancient civilization has been transformed into a fantasy civilization.

Therefore, it is not uncommon for a "fantasy world" to be a "science fiction world" in the world, but it is actually a genre of literature. Europeans and Americans also write, Japanese also write, Chinese also write, just like cyberpunk novels or steampunk novels.

If I had to find a head for the genre, it would probably be Jack Vance's "The Near Death of Earth", followed by Gene Wolff's "The Book of the New Day" and Roger Zerazni's "The King of Light" - this one may be more well-known; Personally, I also like Nao Yoshida's "Blood of the Holy Devil", which is my earliest contact with this genre; Recently, I happened to be playing "Xenoblade Chronicles 2", and I began to understand the Xenoblade series a little bit, and its world view seems to be the same way...... Anyway, I personally think it's quite common.

But on this basis, the setting of "God of Real Names", I believe, at least in my eyes, is still novel. Because it's a backdrop that I've written about cyberpunk stories before, the two worlds are one-to-one. Maybe someone has written it before, but what I'm thinking about and writing can't do with the works mentioned above, and I can still guarantee this.

The above is off topic.

There is so much nagging, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with this book...... Speaking of myself, "God of Real Names" is my first original feature. At this time, I was writing a youth campus love novel, the word count is quite long, but it was a unit drama; At the beginning of this year, I prepared a suspense thriller feature, although I was ambitious when I opened the pit, but there were all kinds of problems halfway, and it was finally put on the shelves, but I died because of the grades, and I am afraid that I will not be able to continue until there is no pressure in life.

And then there's The God of Real Names.

In fact, the first dozen chapters of this work were written earlier.,Objectively speaking,It's not very attractive as an online article.,After all, there is no "golden three chapters".。

My goal at that time was to describe a wizarding kingdom with a standard Western fantasy in tens of thousands of words, and then expand the world view to make a one-to-one correspondence. If you tell the reader the background at the beginning, you may lose some of the fun...... And now it seems that it is I who loses.

People often have to endure a little hardship in order to grow.

This in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, but the problem is that I am now living by writing online articles, and I am under a lot of pressure, and I have long passed the time when I relied on writing online articles to entertain myself.

Nowadays, the life of low-level writers is becoming more and more difficult, and oppression and oppression come from all sides, so it is easy to give up once frustrated. And frankly speaking, in the early stage of writing these 300,000 words, I did think about abandoning the pit. It didn't get a good score, and with the fact that it was the first time I was writing this type of story, I always felt stumbling when I wrote it......

But in the end, there was still no.

Here I would like to give special thanks to the two alliance leaders @大猪peiqi and @星元久久久 for their rewards, and it is not a lie to say that the two of them are strong shots in the comment area; There is also @Kamen Rider Usami Renko, who insists on giving me a tip of 200 every day, and @Qunlongling, who promotes each of my books as always, and new friends and old friends who give me recommendations, rewards, and comments in the intermittent posts and book review areas every day...... I won't list the names here, I remember them all, and I really appreciate it very, very much.

Now, I don't feel stumbling anymore. In my spare time, I've been thinking about the story of the Mayan world, and the more I think about it, the more attractive it becomes, and I just want to write it as soon as possible.

I've come up with a fun follow-up that includes a fun setting and cute characters, and I can't wait to share it with you.

It is because of this thought that I now have the confidence to continue to persevere until I finish this work.

Thank you.

Another: I asked the editor in charge, it was 12 o'clock today. As you should be able to see, I've actually posted three public chapters before this chapter is on the shelves.

So in order to avoid misunderstanding, let's explain it in advance here, don't ask why it hasn't been added on the shelves, there are already seven or eight thousand words of free content added up to the front...... I know it used to be slower, so please take it as a small compensation.

The first VIP chapter will be uploaded at half past twelve.
