Chapter 41: Transfiguration
The journey is always a little far away, out of the capital, it is rare to see lively stalls, Mo Shihuan retracted his gaze, quietly sat in the carriage, and the road became more and more bumpy.
From time to time the carriage stopped to let the horses drink enough water, and the coachman threw his whip on the horse's back, and the carriage continued on its way. Out of the capital, Zhuo Chen was also a lot more vigilant, and told Mo Shihuan to stay in the carriage.
Mo Shihuan didn't plan to make any other moves, and sat in the carriage peacefully. When he felt that Zhuo Chen's eyes were no longer looking at his carriage, he stepped forward and sat beside Bai Ling.
"Tell me what's going on all over the wilderness these days, the more detailed the better." Mo Shihuan leaned over Bai Ling's ear and asked as low as he could.
Bai Ling acted carefully, reached out and lifted the curtain of the car, glanced ahead at the car, and then withdrew his hand. I opened my mouth to see the news I had found out these days, and told Mo Shihuan.
After hearing this, Mo Shihuan opened his mouth to praise Bai Ling, Bai Ling scratched his head embarrassedly, and glanced out of the carriage again, there was nothing unusual, so he was relieved.
Subsequently, Mo Shihuan had a guess based on what Bai Ling said. Bai Ling saw her young lady on the side thinking quietly and helping to take care of the surrounding situation.
After a while, the carriage stopped. When Mo Shihuan came back to his senses, he heard Zhuo Chen's low and magnetic voice coming from outside the carriage, and couldn't help but open the curtain and get out of the carriage.
"That's where we're going, so let's take a break." Zhuo Chen's green jade fingers raised slightly, and pointed not far away. Mo Shihuan understood, followed the finger pointing, glanced at it, and bowed slightly.
Mo Shihuan walked around the neighborhood, observing the surroundings from time to time to see if it was related to the vision. Zhuo Chen stood in place, his face was as look as always, the difference was that his dark eyes were not rolling, glancing at Mo Shihuan.
Bai Ling followed Mo Shihuan's side, always feeling that there was a pair of eyes behind him, and when he looked back from time to time, Zhuo Chen skillfully avoided it. After a while, Mo Shihuan found nothing, and he was a little tired from walking, so he stomped his steps and returned to the carriage with some loss.
Zhuo Chen saw that something was wrong with Mo Shihuan, and did not stop her from inspecting the neighborhood, but after she came back, he stepped forward and went to Mo Shihuan's side.
"There is a dense forest a few miles away, and there are no visions on either side of this road, so you can rest assured." Zhuo Chen pursed his lips, and told Mo Shihuan about the situation here concisely.
Hearing this, Mo Shihuan was slightly stunned, a little puzzled why Zhuo Chen knew what he was doing, and was so familiar with the terrain here, even Bai Ling on the side saw the difference, and his body couldn't help but move to Mo Shihuan, covering half of Mo Shihuan's body.
"How do you know what to do here?" Mo Shihuan still couldn't hold back in the end, and asked the exit. Zhuo Chen saw that the master and servant were wary of him, and couldn't help but hook his lips and chuckle.
In desperation, Zhuo Chen explained that he guessed where the two of them were going, and he was afraid of potential danger, so he ordered someone to come to investigate first to avoid accidents, saying that he had no other intentions.
Mo Shihuan believed that Zhuo Chen would not be uneasy and kind, and reached out and patted Bai Ling's shoulder, Bai Ling turned his head and glanced at Mo Shihuan. Mo Shihuan gave Bai Ling a reassuring look, and Bai Ling stepped aside.
They had been staying here for a while, and Zhuo Chen suggested going forward to see the situation. Mo Shihuan agreed, and walked forward with Zhuo Chen for a while.
After a cup of tea, the two returned. Bai Ling saw that the two of them were fine, so he was relieved. Zhuo Chen recounted what he had just seen, and Bai Ling and Feiying glanced at each other, realizing that the situation ahead was a bit complicated.
Mo Shihuan couldn't help but glance at Zhuo Chen, and couldn't help but have a little more respect for Zhuo Chen. He also stepped forward to investigate, but it was difficult for him to see the subtleties, although Zhuo Chen, as a man, was more sensitive to such things, but it was admirable to say that he had taken precautions.
The four of them discussed, and Zhuo Chen thought that their identities were too conspicuous and would inevitably cause inconvenience, so he proposed to change their appearance. The three of them had no objection, and got into the carriage and made a little preparation.
An hour later, because Mo Shihuan was the only one who would change his appearance, there was a delay of some time. After the four of them were easy to pass, they simply changed for a while, and then got into the carriage.
Due to the long delay, the two carriages drove side by side, and it was inevitable that there would be bumps along the way, Mo Shihuan clung to the edge of the carriage, and the dust raised was fortunately not poured in by the curtain of the car.
When he arrived at his destination, Mo Shihuan jumped out of the carriage, and Bai Ling followed, joining Zhuo Chen and Feiying who were parked in front, leaving the coachman to watch the carriage in place.
Along the way, Mo Shihuan's tossed hair was a little messy, so he reached out and combed his hair to keep up with Zhuo Chen's pace. Due to the change of appearance, the expression on Mo Shihuan's face stiffened a little.
After a while, a few soldiers from the front side were stationed in place, and the spear in their hands made Mo Shihuan shudder, and he continued to walk forward.
Two spears stopped in front of Zhuo Chen, some distance from the city gate, but they were fenced off with a wooden fence. In a few moments, the cold questioning of the soldiers sounded.
"What do you guys do?"
Feiying hurriedly stepped forward and reluctantly introduced the few people around him. After hearing this, the soldier bowed slightly, and asked Zhuo Chen and Mo Shihuan.
"This is my sister, she is sick, and I need to go into the city to buy some medicinal herbs to cure her illness." As he spoke, Zhuo Chen glanced at Mo Shihuan. Mo Shihuan endured it and did not scold, but raised his hand slightly to cover the corners of his mouth and coughed lightly.
All of a sudden, the soldier felt that the air was a little cloudy, stretched out his hand and raised it in the air, coughed lightly, stood aside, and let the four of them go.
At some distance from the soldiers, Zhuo Chen couldn't help but hook the corners of his mouth and chuckled. Unexpectedly, Mo Shihuan looked at him, snorted coldly, and didn't turn his head and ignore Zhuo Chen.
If it weren't for the fact that you are the prince, this girl would not have let you go. Mo Shihuan scolded secretly in his heart, and glanced at Zhuo Chen. Zhuo Chen didn't pay attention to it and continued to walk forward.
Before leaving, Mo Shihuan drew a rough shape of the medicinal materials and showed them them. At this time, the two of them made a detour and did not enter the city, and looked for one of the medicinal herbs on the mountain outside the city.
Bai Ling and Feiying took another prescription to the city to purchase the medicinal herbs written on the paper. An hour later, Mo Shihuan looked around and looked for herbs. Due to Zhuo Chen's urging by his side, Mo Shihuan had to do his best to find medicinal materials, and after a while, he found medicinal materials, and the four of them met at the city gate.
After searching for the medicinal materials, Zhuo Chen led the three of them to leave this place. Mo Shihuan looked back from time to time, feeling a little sorry in his heart, and still a little curious about the vision. In desperation, he left with Zhuo Chen.
