The person who picks up the name
It is said that in the forest lived a man who picked up names.
He roams the forest every day, picking up the names that people have dropped, and returning them to their rightful owners.
So, no one in this forest forgets their name.
Only the elf scoffed at this statement, as she had never met the person who picked up the name.
She also doesn't believe anyone would accidentally forget her name.
So, she asked the cook of the castle.
It's true, once I went to the forest to see a beautiful flower and was so fascinated by it that I forgot my name!
The cook said.
The elf went to ask the maid again.
One night, I was lying on the lawn by the forest lake looking at the stars, and suddenly I remembered my carefree childhood, and I forgot my name for a while, and I really thanked the person who picked it up!
The maid said the same.
But the elf still didn't believe it, and she wanted to see the person who picked up the name with her own eyes.
When she reached adulthood, the elf could finally go out alone, and she couldn't wait to go into the big forest of her heart and play for a full day.
She looked at the countless beautiful flowers, and also lay on the flat lawn to watch the vast galaxy.
She's experienced all the good things
But I never forgot my name.
The elf left the forest in despair, and at the edge of the forest she suddenly saw a sunny boy holding a giraffe and saying strange things, and in curiosity, the elf walked over.
Under the elf's questioning, the boy confessed that he was the one who picked up the name, and that he was sending the name back to the giraffe.
The clumsy giraffe forgot his name while eating wild fruit.
After sending the giraffe away, the boy invites the elves to go with him to the depths of the forest.
The elf agreed curiously.
On that day, they gave names to the magpies frolicking in the rainbow below the waterfall, celebrated the birthday of the civet cat family living under the tree, and carefully told the big stupid bear who was stung by the bees not to steal honey all the time.
Elf has never lived such a full and happy life, and this is her happiest day.
In the end, she reluctantly said goodbye to the boy and returned to her castle.
But soon after returning to the castle, the elf heard the boy calling for the door, and when the elf opened the door, he realized that he had been so happy that he had forgotten his name in the forest.
Time passed day by day, and in the blink of an eye, it was a month.
The boy who picks up the name will still come to the castle on time every day, rain or shine.
……
Until one day.
The cook finally held back her curiosity and asked, "Why do you come to the castle every day?"
The boy scratched his head embarrassedly: "After I saw her that day, every name I picked up since then looks like her, so I have to check it every day."
The elf on the side suddenly blushed: "I'm sorry, it's all my fault."
Every day when I think of you, I forget my name!
