But after less than half a month, I don't know if Miaoshan couldn't repent of it, and finally couldn't stop thinking about the young officer, or couldn't bear the gloom and loneliness in the stone cave, so he left a letter of resignation to the master, and abandoned the Taoist Temple of the Queen Mother of Snow Mountain.

Ciyi was very sad, so she changed the "wall stone cave" to "Shanguo Xuan" as a commemoration of the disciple Miaoshan.

In the years that followed, Ciyi never had the idea of accepting disciples as disciples.

In the late 60s of the last century, the Queen Mother Pool of Snow Mountain, which can be called a paradise, thought that it was in the southern border of Xinjiang, away from the overwhelming noise of the mainland, and finally failed to escape the impact.

In the Taoist temple of Nuoda, some Taoist priests returned to their hometowns, and the rest also sought other jobs. During that time, there were few people, and only Ciyi and a young woman were left to squat.

This young woman had not been noticed by Ciyi before. Seeing that although she is not outstanding, she is very enlightened, and she is hard-working and capable, Ciyi's diet and daily life depend on her Zhang Luo's service, and she treats her like her own parents.

It's just that the young woman has a strong temperament. When outsiders came to disturb him at the foot of the mountain, he would move forward and drive him out.

Until the Taoist temple later resumed the incense feast of the past, the tourists were weaving, and there were many Taoist priests to vote. After years of observing the young woman, Ciyi saw that she did not fall into evil thoughts and remained the same, so one day she called her to the front and asked her if she would like to take refuge as a disciple.

The young woman immediately wept and bowed. This is Ciyi's second disciple. performed a crown scarf apprenticeship ceremony for her, and gave her the Taoist name Miaoyu.

Under the careful teaching of Ciyi, Miaoyu practiced Yigong Taoism, and learned qin, chess, calligraphy and painting, and medical martial arts. After she served her master for several years, there was a female Taoist in the Qing Palace of Qiyun Mountain Taisu who traveled to the Queen Mother Pool of Snow Mountain, who was Ciyi's little sister back then, dozens of years older than Ciyi, and her Taoist name was Jingchen.

Jingchen Dao stayed for several days, and was accompanied by Miaoyu every day.

Since she saw Miaoyu, after some discussion and discussion, she knew that she had obtained the true inheritance of Ciyi, so she was very sorry. He sighed to Ciyi that Taisu Shangqing Palace was lacking an abbot like Xiang Miaoyu, so he begged his sister to give up his love and sent Miaoyu to Qiyun Mountain to teach and preach.

Ciyi consulted Miaoyu for her consent and gladly agreed to Jingchen Daoist.

After Miaoyu left the Queen Mother Pool of the Snow Mountain, Ciyi found a rare green velvet from the secret room, and sewed a Taoist hood with gold edges with her own hands, and gave it to Miaoyu as a souvenir.

This green velvet gold-edged road canopy is made into a legend, and when it comes to different lights, it can emit colorful colors, and it is colorful when it is draped on the body, just like a fairy monarch descending to earth. Miaoyu has been a treasure ever since.

Miaoyu became the abbot of the Taisu Shangqing Palace, and often traveled back and forth to Jiuhua Mountain, a Buddhist holy place hundreds of miles away, grinding scriptures with the monks, and learning the skills of self-cultivation and birth, and they talked very happily. It's just that later, she and a big monk named Huiyun often had quarrels over the competition between Buddhism and Taoism.

Originally, Miaoyu was instilled by the thought of Master Ciyi, thinking that Buddhism and Taoism are interconnected, Buddhism talks about "emptiness", Taoism talks about "nothing", and they all seek to be born and purified, transcend the soul, and there is no contradiction in the theory of ultimate destiny, but there are magical powers here.

However, the monk Huiyun has repeatedly refuted Miaoyu, "emptiness" and "nothingness" are really different from the inside, and Buddhism has never disdained that people in the world have spirits and souls, and only believes that there is cause and effect.

"Don't you know that Zhuangzi said that people in the world are born with vitality, innate enlightenment, nothing comes and goes, and after death, there is a fresh breeze, and only the soul remains!" Miaoyu's temper came up, and she angrily and unceremoniously questioned Monk Huiyun.

"The poor monk only knows that there is Zen enlightenment in the Lotus Sutra, and the world is like a wheel spinning, and the cycle is endless, so the cloud is 'reincarnated', there is a cause and effect. Doesn't the Taoist know that cause and effect can be seen everywhere, and spring planting and autumn harvest are cause and effect. Therefore, monks all over the world believe in cause and effect, so they eat vegetarian food! Huiyun sneered at each other and did not back down.

"It turns out that the master's daily vegetarian diet is due to the karmic reincarnation of spring planting and autumn harvest? What nonsense! Miaoyu sneered.

"The Taoist chief is also a vegetarian, why do you laugh at the poor monks!" Huiyun was furious.

"We Quanzhen Taoists are vegetarians, and that's because we have always valued the art of breathing and breathing, and we are worried that meat will produce turbidity in the body, which will affect the qi and pulses, so as long as we eat vegetarian." Miaoyu sneered, "And Buddhism is because it can't kill, so the great monk has no meat to eat, so he has to eat vegetarian." ”

"Since everyone is a vegetarian, the Taoist chief has also shaved three thousand green silk on his head, so it's better to be a hairless Taoist aunt!" Huiyun also smiled and sarcastically said, "Shouldn't this be the same as the Taoist Chief's previous remarks, and there are many common sayings about Buddhism and Taoism." ”

Miaoyu was extremely speechless, shook off the dust at the moment, and threw away without eating the prepared lunchtime.

In the monastery of Huiyun, there was a monk called Jijie a long time ago, commonly known as Huichangyuan, who was a native of Linhuai County, Huai City.

Because Huichang had a stain before he was shaved, he first seduced a girl when he was a Chinese teacher in a primary school, but fortunately, a relative surnamed Qiu who was an important official in the county was involved in it, so he did not ask for the crime.

Hui Changyuan, a relative, was Qiu Mingqing, who was the main leader of Linhuai County at the time, and was later transferred to Enyuan Group as the head of the discipline supervision team.

But later, Huichang's aid was difficult to change, but because of the revelation of his affair with the teaching director's wife, he was afraid of being retaliated by his family, so he simply went to Jiuhua Mountain to become a monk to avoid trouble.

Huichangyuan has a distant aunt who cultivates in the Qing Palace in Qiyun Mountain, that is, Ciyi's little sister Jingchen Daochang, and it is because of her relationship that she can enter the Buddhist gate.

Jingchen once heard from the villagers who had been listed in Huai and said that Huichang had many misconducts, and the Quartet continued to denounce them. But he couldn't bear his bitter begging, and he was determined to become a monk, so he had to go to the temple where Huiyun was located to pay homage and find a place for his distant nephew to take refuge.

Huiyun and Miaoyu had a dirty affair, which was a later thing. Before, the relationship between him and Jingchen was quite friendly.

Can't stand Jingchen's face, and saw Huichang's thick eyebrows and leopard eyes, and his teeth and face were clear, and he expected that there would be a great deal in the future, so the great monk Huiyun accepted Huichang's aid and stayed in the temple.

After listening to Jingchen's honest introduction to Huichangyuan's past, Huiyun only hoped that he would change his past wrongs, be enlightened, and be able to keep in mind the rules and precepts of the temple, so he gave Huichang the monk name of "remembering the precepts".

In the early years, Hui Changyuan was quite honest.

He has a very strong memory, almost unforgettable, and he often wins the monk chanting contest held on Jiuhua Mountain. He also represented many monasteries in Jiuhua Mountain, went to Henan Shaolin Temple to participate in a series of Buddhist cultural competitions, won many successes, and was left to practice martial arts for a year.

Good looks, able to write and martial arts, smart and eloquent, and read hundreds of schools. This is Huiyun's comment on the monk who remembers the ring, and feels that his monk's face is doubly glorious because he has accepted this outstanding apprentice of the precept.

But as time went by, Hui Changyuan thought that he was due to the temple, and became more and more unresponsible. At first, he was found to be often soaking in the nuns' pile, constantly making frivolous acts, and then he was seen secretly haunting small restaurants in tourist attractions, sticking meat and wine, and mostly drunk with a red face.

Huiyun saw that he relied on his cleverness, and he was presumptuous day by day, and gradually became disgusted.

That day, Huiyun had an argument with Miaoyu and returned to the temple to get irritable. Passing by the room, I smelled an evil smell and a commotion inside. When I went into the room, I saw that I had brought a group of little monks with memora, thinking that he must be eating at another place at noon that day, so he cooked a pot of dog meat.

Huiyun was furious, and he picked up his face pin and beat people when he saw them, so frightened that the monks scattered and fled.

I think of why a monk can only eat vegetarian food, not meat? He was humiliated by Miaoyu at the right time, and now there are monks in his temple who eat meat, and he thinks that it is because of the precepts that he has brought a group of apprentices.

So in his heart, he was also indignant at the female Taoist of Jingchen who introduced the precepts to the temple, thinking that this Jingchen Dao Guyuan was not a good thing, and deliberately made Huichang to help this indiscriminate fool to anger him.

But that's not the end of it.

Soon after, a mountain merchant came to the monastery to ask for guilt, and it turned out that the monk who remembered the precepts had hooked up with his proprietress for a long time, so he came to complain to Huiyun.

Huiyun saw that the precepts were vicious and did not change, and repeatedly seduced the married woman, a complete filthy monk, so he resolutely refused to tolerate it, and immediately removed Huichang's name and blasted out of the temple.

Hui Changyuan worked as a woodcutter and bamboo craftsman in the Jiuhua Mountain area, and also planted tea trees for mountain farmers.

Jingchen had already heard the news from Jiuhua Mountain, and had heard a lot about Huichang's misconduct, so why was this distant nephew quite hesitant, so he asked Miaoyu to discuss what to do?

Miaoyu is grateful to Jingchen for her recommendation from the master, so she came to Qiyun Mountain to be the abbot of the Taisu Shangqing Palace, and secondly, because she and Huiyun have been unable to solve the mustard for a long time, she is not convinced, and she concludes that the monk has always sold his reputation and reputation, and his mind is narrow, and he must be an incompetent and good apprentice.

She knew that Hui Changyuan was expelled by Huiyun for violating the precepts, but she wanted to take it for him to see.

However, this Miaoyu still had vigilance in his heart for Hui Changyuan after all, and only let him temporarily become the gatekeeper of the palace, not allowed to enter the main hall and backyard, and did not join the Taoist for him, and waited to see the after-effects.

Qiyun Mountain is one of the famous mountains of the Four Great Avenues with Qingcheng Mountain in Sichuan, Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province and Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi.
