In the second year of Zhide (757), Che Fengchao was seriously ill and could not return to the Central Plains with the group as scheduled, so he stayed in Gandhara to recuperate. Make a wish in illness: If you are cured from your illness, you will become a monk. When Zongbin Buddhism prevailed, the monks gathered, Che Fengchao took refuge in Buddhism after recovering from illness, and studied under the Gandhara Sanzang Master Relic Yue Demon, and the Relic Yue Demon gave Che Feng Chao Dharma Realm. Since then, the Dharma realm has studied Sanskrit with the relics and demons, and traveled with them to visit teachers in Zobin, Tianzhu and other countries to ask questions and study Buddhism.

A few years later, the Dharma Realm had the idea of returning to the Tang Dynasty, so he asked the master to return to the east, and the relics of the demon took pity on his heart and granted him what he wanted. The relics were given to the Sanskrit "Ten Power Sutra", "Ten Earth Sutra" and "Dedication Wheel Sutra" and Buddha relics in the Dharma realm, and the Dharma realm was invited to bring them back to the Tang Dynasty.

He made a temporary stay in Shule and Khotan (now Hotan County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region) for a short time, and then went north, arrived at Qiuci, the Dharma realm saw that Qiuci was rich in products and Buddhism was prosperous, so he stayed in Qiuci Lotus Temple, and Qiuci monks did not mention the rhinoceros and other monks, and jointly translated the Buddhist scriptures such as the "Ten Land Sutra", "Ten Forces Sutra", and "Dedication Wheel Sutra" brought back from India, and the Dharma Realm lived in Qiuci for more than 30 years.

Perhaps because of the turmoil in the Anxi Protectorate, the Dharma Realm set off to return to the Tang Dynasty last year, and this year will bring back the Buddha's tooth relics and the translated scriptures into the enshrinement, through the merit of the envoy Dou Wenchang's recital, Emperor Dezong ordered him to live in Chang'an Zhangjing Temple, and gave the Dharma name "Wukong", he is also one of the prototypes of Sun Wukong in "Journey to the West".

It was he who brought back to Datang the news that the Anxi Protectorate still existed, and let Datang know that Guo Xin was still in the Anxi Protectorate, but at this time Datang had begun to weaken and was not able to provide much help to Guo Xin.

In addition, the name of the Eight Precepts also exists in history, in the second year of Han Jiaping (250), the Indian Vinaya Shamen Tanhe Jialuo went to Luoyang to translate the scriptures, and set up an altar in the White Horse Temple, Zhu Shixing first ascended the altar to receive the ordination, becoming the first Han monk in Chinese history, and was given the Dharma name Bajie.

In the fifth year of Ganlu (260 AD), he traveled west from Chang'an, crossed the desert, and went to Khotan, where the Mahayana classics were concentrated, to learn the scriptures, and it can be said that he was the first person to learn the scriptures in the west, and the time for the second senior brother to learn the scriptures was 400 years earlier than Tang Xuanzang.

It would have been a blessing if he had been able to exchange the Dharma with Master Guo at that time. ”

Even if you knew Guo Yuanzheng at that time, I guess he didn't know much about Buddhism, right? Shen Long smiled and said, "From here to the eastern states, all the states have fallen into the hands of Tubo, and we will not cause trouble to the master if we follow the master, right?" ”

"It's okay, it's okay, the two of you are a little wronged, just pretend to be the disciples and followers of the poor monks, the Tubo people have always worshiped Buddha, but they won't do anything to the monks." The elder brother kept again and again, and it is estimated that he can return to Chang'an safely for this reason, and it is just an accident that he encountered bandits before, and a high monk is still highly respected in the territory of Tubo.

"So it's going to bother the master!" Shen Long himself and Lu Shishi were certainly able to return to Chang'an safely, but after all, it was not convenient to follow the senior brother.

"Although the poor monk has become a monk, but the practice is not yet at home, and now he still misses his relatives in his hometown, Guo Shi and Lu Shi can send letters to the soldiers thousands of miles away, this is a great merit, since the poor monk has met, how can he not help."
