Chapter 91: Arrival

Despite the slow passage of time, the enthusiasm of the students has not diminished in the slightest, or rather, the heat of the Triwizard Tournament has remained high due to their speculation about the details of the match.

Maybe it's because of the younger students who know that they are not old enough to participate, or the older students who are not confident enough in their abilities to pay too much attention to this matter.

Snape had once again failed to compete for a position in Defence Against the Dark Arts, and even Ios could feel his burning anger while he was in Potions class.

Although Ios didn't know why he wanted this position so much, it was clear that potions were what he was best at, wasn't it? This time, unlike in the past, he did not dare to show his dissatisfaction with Moody, who took over the position.

More precisely, he was even deliberately avoiding Moody, and even if they met by chance, he just nodded casually and left, without even looking at Moody.

In fact, Ios can also understand, after all, Snape has a dark history of playing for Voldemort, and Moody is an excellent Auror, has captured a lot of Death Eaters, and may even have thought about capturing Snape, but Snape has Dumbledore's guarantee.

At Ios's current level, classes are no longer effective for him, and most of those professors are not even as good as him, so many times he chooses courses out of interest and to pass the time.

And a class like the Defense Against the Dark Arts class is no longer in the range of Ios's choice, among those previous professors, Lupin and Moody are quite level, but if they are allowed to face off against Ios, they probably can't make two moves.

As a result, I missed out on some interesting things. For example, one of his classmates spat out when he saw him: "Oh my God, that Professor Moody doesn't know what to say about him, he actually cast a Imperius curse on us!" โ€

Ios said with interest, "Isn't that a novel experience?" Except here, wouldn't it be bad if someone was going to cast a Imperius curse on you? โ€

"That being said, I'm sure there's something wrong with my body right now, knowing that he's casting spells over and over again until we can resist." The boy was still muttering.

Seeing that his body was indeed a little uncoordinated, Ios felt a little sympathy, and couldn't help but wonder what would happen if that fake Moody wanted to cast a spell on him in the name of class.

If you think about it, there will only be one result, and that is that he will bounce Moody's curse back and hit himself!

I don't know what will happen to the Imperius Curse when it is applied to me, whether I can't wake up in a daze all the time, or if I fail to cast it directly?

Fast forward to the end of October, when the Headmasters and students of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang will arrive at Hogwarts on the 30th, and Ios, as President of the Student Council, will greet them with Headmaster Dumbledore.

The imminent arrival of representatives from both schools also rekindled the students' enthusiasm for the Triwizard Tournament, which became the hottest topic again in the following week.

Hogwarts was prepared accordingly, and the entire castle was thoroughly cleaned, the floor was spotless, the portraits were wiped fresh, and even the old creaking armor was renewed.

The auditorium was heavily decorated, with long silky lengths representing the four colleges hanging from the ceiling to the floor, gold and silver cutlery glittering, and candles hanging in mid-air illuminating the auditorium.

The teachers also seemed a little impetuous, and it could be seen that they were also nervous about what was going to happen, not because they were afraid of life or anything, but because they wanted to show their best side.

When that day came, in the evening, the teachers organized the students to stand in seven rows according to their grade level and stand neatly to welcome them. Everyone was crunched into their robes by the cold wind, but there was no sign of the two schools coming.

At this time, Dumbledore, who was standing behind with the other teachers, suddenly shouted, "Ah! If I'm not mistaken, Beauxbatons' representatives have already arrived. โ€

A behemoth sped through the air, growing larger and larger, and it was only when it passed over the Forbidden Forest that the students could see it through the light of the castle windowโ€”a huge powder-blue carriage.

Its carriage resembles a huge house, drawn by twelve winged horses the size of elephants.

In the blink of an eye, the carriage also landed on the ground, vibrating on the huge wheels, and the golden horses shook their huge heads, their big fiery red eyes dripping.

A shiny black heel came out of the carriage followed by a woman, and when she stepped into the light that spilled from the foyer, they found her with a handsome olive-colored face, dark, watery eyes, and a very pointed nose.

Her hair was combed back and tied in a shiny bun at the base of her neck. She was wrapped from head to toe in a black forged garment, and many precious opals shone around her neck and on her thick fingers.

She was followed by twelve boys and girls, all over sixteen years old, who came out of the car and stood behind Lady Massim, their full satination was made of fine silk, none of them wore cloaks, only a few of them wore scarves around their heads, and even the Hogwarts students who were more accustomed to the climate here wore cloaks, so you can imagine how cold they were.

After Dumbledore and Madame Maxim had finished greeting each other, everyone waited for Durmstrang to arrive.

There was silence all around, except for the sound of Madame Maxim's giant horse snorting and stomping its hooves.

Just then a loud and strange sound came to them from the darkness: a suppressed rumbling and sucking sound, like a giant vacuum cleaner moving along the riverbed......

Gradually, a large ship rose out of the water, shining in the moonlight.

It looked eerie, like a skeleton, like an abandoned shipwreck, and the portholes shimmered with a dim, foggy glimmer that looked like ghostly eyes.

Finally, with a loud sound of water, the big boat came out of the water completely, tossed on the undulating water, and began to head towards the shore of the lake. After a while, the people waiting on the shore heard the sound of the anchor entering the water and the sound of the planks being erected.

The men of the boat came down, and from a distance they all looked tall, but when they got closer, they realized that it was only because they were all wearing thick fur cloaks. But the man who led the way to the castle wore another kind of fur cloak, smooth and silver, like his hair.

At this point, all the people who came to participate in the Triwizard Tournament were gathered.
