Chapter 1 Incomprehension
The bustling street of Vic welcomed a special guest today.
When Green shook his head and slowly landed in the area, he was slightly stunned when he saw the scene around him.
Dressed in a fashionable and rich aristocratic lady, a black-edged dress, and a lady's top hat inlaid with a few purple flowers on her head, she immediately looked a little brighter.
And there is a difference from each other, most of the people on the street are dressed ordinary, their eyes are a little tired, and they feel depressed and miserable when they think of the tired life.
In the corner, a group of young, shabby-dressed beggars were lying, and next to them were several white-haired old people lying on the ground with limited mobility.
"What a world of contradictions, Green thought."
The social hierarchy is too distinct, and there is no sense of harmony at all.
The consequence of this is to create a gap between people, and most importantly, to create a variety of negative emotions between different hierarchies.
If you are in the ordinary world, you don't have time, so you can go to a tavern and restaurant to vent after being tired and get a short period of relief.
But in this mysterious world full of weirdness, it's hard to be sure of what you'll encounter.
After seeing the strangely dressed Green, the pedestrians on the side of the street only glanced at it with curiosity, while the young men in suits and briefcases hurried to work.
"Oh, a busy life." Green smiled, and then it occurred to him that he wasn't the same?
Seeing the aristocratic lady who stepped down from the carriage and looked at her with curiosity, Green's heart moved slightly, and she strolled forward and asked.
"Beauty, is there something wrong?"
"Beauty?"
Adusade's eyebrows furrowed slightly, and her pretty face showed a little doubt, she was unfamiliar with this title, but in a few breaths, she understood that the other party was complimenting her appearance.
"Where is this?"
Green smiled awkwardly, having to ask despite being an idiot to his question.
Adusa felt that this was the current inferior pick-up technique, and after coldly dropping the words "Vic Street", she turned around and stepped on her high heels and walked away quickly.
"It looks a bit like the Victorian period of modern Europe."
Green sighed in his heart that this was a good time, and everything was moving towards steam mechanization.
It's just that behind the beauty there is often a deeper darkness.
Looking at the poor people who were crawling on the ground and begging, and then at the rich people who were gorgeously dressed and generous, it looked a little dazzling.
But none of this is about you, the most important thing now is to understand what kind of world this is.
Staying here, Green actually felt that his life was threatened.
"Isn't this being excluded from the World Spirit?"
Green, who felt incredulous, was a little curious.
After thinking about it, I decided to become a psychologist and a part-time fortune teller.
Although Green has not left any mark in this world, there is an old saying that money makes the devil grind.
After getting the qualification certificate from the black businessman, he was warned by the other party not to do illegal things, and he could not tell others that he got this thing from him, and the subsequent disputes had nothing to do with the other party.
Green smiled at this, not careless.
The fierce-looking black merchant muttered a few words after looking at this strangely dressed young man walking out of a remote corner.
Greene then finds a rental house on Wake Street, which, by the way, uses a different amount of cash than the gold, silver, and copper coins of the wizarding world.
The most commonly used are pennies, banknotes.
A blonde man with a meticulous and stern face on the penny inscription looked straight ahead and the corners of his mouth turned up to look confident.
Despite some twists and turns, Green was able to exchange a large sum of coins.
He underestimated the purchasing power of the gold coins, and when he took out a bag of gold coins and placed them in front of the golden-bearded merchant, Green saw the incredulity on the other man's face and the greedy eyes.
If it weren't for the other party's scruples, Green believed that he would not be able to help but do it.
In Green's eyes, the other party's actions did nothing, and he smiled and walked out with a heavy money bag.
Come to your own shop and start a business.
Knowing that he wouldn't be staying here much, Green decided to decorate it anyway.
After finding construction workers to repair and replace the old utensils, they hired a painter to clean the inside of the house.
Looking at the brand-new appliances in the room, Green smiled and was motivated.
Not only that, but he also took some money to the store to buy a lot of food and clothes for the beggars, of course, these are not for free.
Looking at the children with a wary look and a desire in their eyes, Green smiled and told the other party what he requested.
Tom was relieved that they had encountered someone who deliberately lured his companions with food and sold them to old women who wanted children.
What's even more terrifying is to send it to those wizards as experimental materials, or to become an innocent life in the executioner's hands.
Although on the way to distribute advertisements for Green, Tom suffered a lot of white eyes.
But he was used to it all, and laughed when Tom got the fragrant bread from Green.
The little friends who chose to wait and see not far away suddenly showed envious eyes when they saw it, and ran to Green's side one by one with eager expressions.
Green smiled and sent some food for the other party to cushion his stomach, and he couldn't work without strength.
However, in order to prevent some ill-intentioned guys from taking shortcuts, Green asked them to monitor and report each other.
If someone deliberately throws away those flyers, lying about the full task, then the person who reports him can get a double, no, triple reward.
Now, let those naughty children who originally wanted to think crookedly suddenly become honest.
Seeing them excitedly hand out flyers, Green chose to stay in the room and wait for the first customer to come to the door.
About an hour later, Green waited until an old gentleman in a suit, with a pocket watch in his hand, and a polite, meticulously dressed man walked in.
"Anyone?"
He asked softly.
Green came to his senses and replied with a smile.
"I've been waiting here for a long time, guest."
"Are you a psychiatrist? So young? ”
Seeing that Green was so young, the old man had doubts in his eyes, glanced at the identification posted on the wall, resisted the urge to get up and leave, frowned and waited patiently.
"Hehe, does age have something to do with ability?"
Green smiled faintly, but in the old man's eyes, the young man's tone was a little frivolous.
Seeing that the other party did not brush his sleeves and left, Green waited for the other party to calm down.
Take out the tarot cards and disrupt the divination.
"You've had asthma, cough a lot at night, your throat is often dry and uncomfortable."
"Feeling low on energy? Often depressed and sad? ”
Green saw the old man's eyes gradually light up, and looked at him with a shocked expression.
"How do you know?"
"You have a pair of daughters, and a young son, the eldest daughter is sweet and intellectual and elegant, the younger daughter is eccentric and naughty, and the younger son is sensible and polite."
What came out of Grimm's mouth was as if he had seen it before, but he saw the old man slap the table and shout angrily.
"You investigated me?"
Green smiled and shook his head in reply.
"Of course not, we're just meeting for the first time, but I can see all of this in the details of you."
"Those details?"
The old man frowned, feeling that the other party's explanation was a bit far-fetched.
Then, from top to bottom, Green pointed to his dress to deduce the details of his life, and shouted out which people the other party had met this morning and what he had done.
"It's unbelievable, if I hadn't made sure there was no one around this morning, I would have thought someone was following me."
The old man's expression was a little embarrassed, obviously he had misunderstood the other party, but for some reason he didn't say sorry to Green.
Green didn't care about that.
Then, tell the other person that he has "insomnia" and needs to relax frequently, that it is better to go out and see the beautiful scenery, and that in addition, do not worry too much about the affairs of his children.
In the end, Green put forward his own conditions.
"I don't need money in return, I want to know about the legends or strange things in this world."
The old man frowned and began to think.
"Well, I'll have to think about it."
Seeing this, Green smiled, waiting for the other party's next step.
"I'm sorry, I'm old and I don't have a good memory."
"I think you should be able to get the information you want from a nearby library."
Seeing the old man's excuse, Green showed a displeased expression, but he didn't want to force anything.
Before leaving, the old man seemed to know that he was a little excessive, and replied after hesitating for a few seconds.
"Legend has it that once the city of Atlantis was sunk by the sea, and the huge underwater creature Cthulhu was once seen by a crew member who returned from an adventure, but unfortunately he fell into madness and died not long after."
After saying that, the old man looked around, as if he was taboo about something, opened the door and walked away quickly.
Green sighed slightly, it seemed that this was the source of the threat he sensed.
It's just that I still don't understand why the other party can stay here without incident.
Gently touching the void in front of him, Green found that this world was a little more resilient than the wizarding world.
It is estimated that because of the rarity of extraordinary people,
No, there must be other reasons.
Green frowned slightly, deep in thought.
