Chapter 2: What is due will always come

After eating the cherry tomatoes in the bag, I still sat in my bunk with my head propped up and looked out the window in a daze. Occasionally, a train would pass by us, rumbling and darkening in front of us. Suddenly the weight of the bed sank, and a man in white jumped down from the upper bunk, borrowed my lower bunk to cushion his feet, and turned to sit down on the old lady's bunk opposite.

I glanced sideways, then turned my head again, and when I turned my head, I saw that the boy who had been standing in front of the hallway window was already sitting in the aisle chair at some point.

The man in white began to chat with the boy.

It was already noon, but the more they talked, the more enjoyable they became, as if they had no intention of stopping, and I was a little disgusted by the slightly noisy voice.

I don't know anyone, but it's okay to say a few words of greeting, but it's a bit too exaggerated to talk about it. I simply put on my headphones, turned up the volume, and lay down to rest, thinking that I could always stop when I saw others resting.

However, no, the man's voice was slightly louder, but I didn't want to listen, and the carriage was still a little noisy, so I couldn't sleep even if I was sleepy, so I had to lie down and close my eyes to recuperate. From time to time, the train bumped twice, shaking people's heads a little dizzy, I regretted that I had just eaten the fruit with a hot brain, and a little sour taste came up, which made people uncomfortable.

I never ate on the train before, and when I was hungry, I would try a few bites of bread and snacks that I brought with me, thinking that the fruit would be slightly better, but it turned out that I was still prone to motion sickness as soon as I ate.

When I was a freshman, my parents sent me to school together, and I was lying down and vomiting all the way, and I couldn't get out of bed at all, and the people around me were afraid that I was sick, otherwise how could I take the train and vomit so badly, none of them came to the bed to rest, and they didn't even come to sit on the chair in the aisle.

Come to think of it, at that time, my parents were also very hard, and my mother was also motion sickness, and she suffered together. So he kept counting me in the car: You deserve to go to school so far away, you should faint in the future, I'll come once anyway. In fact, the more nervous she is, the more I will nag, but the more glad I am that I have made it far.

The train shook twice and then shook again, my eyes began to dizzy, my throat tightened, in case I couldn't help but turn over the river and the sea, I blindfolded, lifted the quilt and sat up against the pillow, raised my hand to brush the fine cold sweat from my forehead.

"Don't sleep, it's noon time to eat." The man said to me, snorting.

I looked up and smiled politely. I was already smiling pale, so I didn't answer his words, pretended to be a little busy, sorted out the headphone cable, and put them back on.

Suddenly it was dark outside the window, and the rumbling sound was even more deafening, it was through a cave. I saw that the thin boy in the window was also looking in this direction, and I couldn't see his face clearly from the window, but the hollow look on my pale face almost frightened myself.

The man saw that I didn't answer and continued to make small talk with the boy. I thought that these 20 hours had been difficult, and there were people who kept making noise and asked others not to sleep even though they were not interested, and I was really bored.

"You're a student, huh? Coming home for the holidays? The gentle voice pulled me back from my depressed mood to the old lady in the opposite shop.

I didn't expect the old lady to take the initiative to talk to me, and at first glance I thought the old lady was kind, so I accosted her: "I'm going back to school, not home." ”

"Oh? Shouldn't this time be about the same time as a holiday? "The old lady is suspicious, it should be said that no matter who will feel doubtful, a few will go back to school on New Year's Day, and those who go home from school at this time are considered to be on early vacation.

"Well, there's something to go back to school." I didn't explain too much and laughed awkwardly.

"What did you study?" The old lady asked me with a smile.

"Pure art."

It's so literary that few people can understand it, and I explained, "It's about drawing." ”

The old lady nodded and said with a smile: "My son is also engaged in art, next to a little bit, he is a radio host." I said that he would be unemployed in the future, and that many people would listen to the radio. ”

"No, a lot of people listen." I answered.

I saw the man and boy stop and turn their heads to listen to our conversation.

"Prepare your ticket and ID card, come, take it out and have a look." The police had already walked to the next few cubicles.

Hearing the voice, everyone began to look through their documents.

I put all my ID and student ID in my backpack and stuffed it under the bed. So he moved to the end of the bed, ready to turn it out and hold it in his hand.

The thin boy also stood up and went to my middle bunk backpack to get his papers. Sure enough, it was him in the middle bunk.

When I looked down to pick up something, it happened that he was already standing in front of me and rummaging through his backpack, just blocking his view and not seeing his face. Instead, the hair brushed his clothes, and it was a little embarrassing to be so close.

"You're alone? Such a small person came out......" The policeman was talking to a person next door, and I don't know what the problem was, the boy and the man both looked sideways.

It just happened to have a gap in time for me to move my body in a bit and avoid touching it again.

"You come down and open the bag and have a look." The police officer asked the man next door to open his box and inspect it very seriously.

At this time, everyone's attention was completely attracted.

I was also a little curious, and tilted my head slightly, and a little boy dragged out his large tow box and opened it to check. The police flipped through it, but didn't see the problem, but felt suspicious, and continued to ask: "Your parents let you go out alone?" ”

The little boy packed up his suitcase and replied, "Well, I often go out alone." "It seems that he goes out a lot, and he is used to being deliberately checked, and his speech and movements are very sophisticated.

The police helped him put away his luggage and took note of the contact information of his parents.

When the police arrived at our room, the man in white checked first. When the boy and I arrived, the police saw that it was a student ticket and asked for a student ID card to be checked.

As a last resort, I lowered my head again and hurriedly took my bag, and the boy in the middle bunk also came to pick up the student ID card in his backpack. Rubbed his clothes again. I don't know if it's because the police are waiting for everyone to look at us, or if I'm in a hurry and suddenly a little nervous...... The air suddenly thinned, my face began to itch a little, and my hair was messed up and stuck to my face, and I played with it indiscriminately.

The boy turned sideways, the air was no longer oppressive, and he saw that the boy had already taken his documents to check. I breathed a sigh of relief, found my ID, and handed it to the police.

When the police left, I didn't slow down, turned sideways, the old lady looked at me and smiled, I don't understand this smile, is it laughing at me that I haven't seen the world? I was overwhelmed and unconsciously brushed my hair.

The man in white smiled and said, "Now the inspection is very careful, we don't look like bad people, you two even have to check your student ID." He raised his hand and gestured.

I looked up and smiled awkwardly, and inadvertently looked up, but my eyes met the boy's eyes, but I didn't expect him to be looking at me and laughing.
