I heard that there is a river in the far north of the desert, called the River Crossing, hidden in the afterglow of the morning and evening, behind the continuous Gobi, between heaven and earth.

It was a very dark place.

There is a boat on the river, called the ferry. The boat was an ordinary fishing boat, tattered, sailing silently on the turbulent water.

The hull of the ship was shrouded in darkness, except for a dead vine like a cane on the bow of the ship, and a mermaid lamp hanging from it. It is immortal, but it can only illuminate every inch of land.

At the stern of the ship stands a stone tablet that reads:

Crossing demons does not cross Buddhas, crossing souls does not cross people, only crossing the soul of resentment, hatred and remembrance.

There is another line of words at the back, perhaps because of its age, which has long been blurred.

At the end of the boat is a wooden house floating in the middle of the river, in ruins and disrepair.

When the ship docks and the brass bell rings, the dust-covered wooden door creaks open...

When the dust falls, the soul that enters can regain its appearance, and the floating soul can also give birth to feet...
