When I first arrived at the school, the water was still very clear, and about the next year, the sewage from the paper mill upstream was directly discharged, and the whole river was dyed purple, exuding a pungent smell, fish and shrimp were extinct, aquatic plants were rotting, and even a foul smell was sometimes stinking. But this can't stop our enthusiasm for playing by the river, leaving too many unforgettable memories.
