Chapter 10 The Bazaar

The camp of the Lancer caravan was open to the people of the Wolf tribe throughout the day, and they put many rare items brought in the ox carts on the ground to attract the attention of the tribesmen, and it became a bazaar.

Many of the goods of the caravan were the necessities of the tribesmen, such as spirits, which tasted much more mellow than the old Bill's, and were said to be made from grain.

Oh, and the grains, I heard that they were the daily food of the people of the great tribes of the south, and they could grow the grains and harvest them on fixed days each year.

They didn't have to fight the ferocious beasts at all, they had enough food to eat, and even a surplus to make wine.

Old Bill's bad wines, all made from the wild fruits of the prairie, sour and bitter, how could they be compared with the sweet wines made from these grains?

Naturally, Mary also took the four-month-old Blue to the caravan market to watch the excitement, and the Blue grew up so fast, only four months old but comparable to a normal one-year-old baby.

Mary and Red are also confused by this, and they take Blue to see the witch doctor, who examines Blue carefully, and finally concludes that there is nothing wrong with Blue's body, but that he is developing exceptionally well.

Since the witch doctor said there was no problem, Mary and Red were relieved.

Maybe it's really developed, at least the little guy can eat it very much, Mary's ** is not enough for him to suck, and sometimes he has to chew the tender beast meat and feed him.

Mary carried Blue and led Bass as they walked into the caravan market.

Mary was a little dazzled by the variety of goods on the ground, and little Blue was even more interested in watching it, waving her little hands and babbling in her mouth.

Soon the hides that Bas was carrying on his back were exchanged by Mary for a small bag of coarse salt, a fat sheepskin jacket that Blue could wear for a few years, and a large jar of good wine for Red, which could be drunk to hold other things.

Mary was a good wife, and she chose all the good things that her family could use, and she didn't choose the flashy things for herself.

I have to say that these merchants are some profiteers, so many good animal skins, but they can only be exchanged for this little thing.

There are also all kinds of animal bones, which are said to be taken back as medicinal herbs, but they can't give them a good price.

Mary became more and more stingy, and she only watched and did not buy, and walked slowly around the merchant's camp with Bass.

Finally to the center of the camp, where the ground was covered with a thick layer of something called a blanket, woven into a strange pattern from smooth unknown animal hair.

There were a few dozen items on the blanket, which was obviously much sparser than the goods in the other stalls.

A middle-aged businessman sits on a blanket, with a beard on his face full of vicissitudes, men of this era all have beards, and they don't have the conditions to shave, do you want them to shave with a stone knife?

The merchants wore finely crafted leather jackets, not the rudimentary leather coats of the tribal men.

He had a wooden object in his mouth, somewhat like a spoon for drinking soup, with a slow-burning unknown blade of grass in it, emitting a strong smell that he seemed to enjoy.

Mary looked at the blanket in front of him, and there were a dozen items on it, all of which were different, not ordinary food or everyday items.

A few colorful crystal clear beads, made of unknown materials, sparkle in the sun.

Several very delicately polished weapons, including long knives, daggers, and even arrows, are also indistinguishable from their materials, but they are very similar to the dagger of the witch doctor, they are all black, and the sharp edges are flashing with cold light.

A pile of blades of grass, like the smoking blades in the spoon in his mouth, the burnt yellow color was unappealing.

There was also a huge ball, like those small colorful beads, crystal clear, but it had no color, it was transparent, like solidified water droplets, and the surface was very smooth.

The big balls, like the small beads, are perfectly round from any angle, and they are not artificially made.

Naturally, these strange items attracted the attention of the tribe, and dozens of tribesmen gathered here, and they asked the merchants, what can these strange goods be exchanged?

The merchant looked up at the skins and bones on their bodies and hands, but shook his head, not bothering to explain what his treasures were, but only indulging in the smell of the blades of grass on his lips.

Mary took little Blue in her arms and walked over to the blanket, and the little beads and balls caught Blue's attention, and the little one immediately danced with his hands.

Mary didn't care, the little one reacted to anything he saw in the bazaar, it was a strange thing to him.

Mary crouched down, she wanted to see the black weapons, she knew that what Red wanted most was a good weapon to get her hands on.

Mary placed Blue on the blanket, then reached for the long black knife and looked at it closely.

The long black knife was much longer than the stone knife used by Rhett, and it also had a delicate handle, and the handle was even wrapped in an unknown animal skin, which felt excellent in the hand.

"Honorable merchant, how do you trade this long knife?" asked Mary, holding the long knife in both hands, to the middle-aged merchant.

The middle-aged businessman heard Mary's question, raised his head and looked at Mary.

He obviously didn't expect to see such a beautiful and outstanding beauty as Mary in these primitive tribes, but he was a little more energetic than just now.

"Oh, beautiful lady, you ask about this meteorite long knife?" he shook his head as he looked at the few remaining hides and bundles of bones on the back of Buzz, who was beside Mary.

"You can't exchange these skins and bones, unless it's the fur and bones of the saber-toothed tiger of the grassland overlord, and the rhinoceros horn of the boulder rhinoceros, these two things are worth buying in your neighborhood. ”

Both the saber-toothed tiger and the boulder rhinoceros are at the top of the food chain in this grassland, and in the first place, Red paid a heavy price for hunting a saber-toothed tiger, and even Buzz was blind in one eye.

And the saber-toothed tiger had already been sacrificed to the god of the forest, and there was nothing left.

However, the rhinoceros horn of the boulder rhinoceros seems to have been hunted by Red, which is the talk of him and Green for half a year, and it is also the capital to brag about among the young people of the tribe.

Just as Mary was trying to remember where the rhinoceros horns of the boulder rhinoceros were placed in her home, she heard Blue's babbling and the eager voice of the middle-aged businessman, "Little one, put it down, that's not fun!"

Mary then remembered the blue on the blanket, and looked down, only to see that blue had climbed in front of the colorful beads at some point.
