Chapter 103: Nothing Happens in the World (Part II)

After the tutorial session for Business Statistics I, Hui Ching-jia used the excuse of going to the large computer room on the 11th floor to make notes and buy time for herself.

Undoubtedly, getting along with the likes of Nina, Mia, Fion, and Zita was a pleasure most of the time. This level of pleasure even exceeded Xu Jingjia's expectations.

Xu Jingjia is very glad that she did not insist on the decision to go it alone.

However, after a few hours of getting along, Xu Jingjia still wanted to find a place to calm down and let herself settle down.

Xu Jingjia has had such a need since she was a child. When she was younger, Xu Jingjia would be unbearable to stay in a place where many people gathered for a long time. During her secondary school years, during her lunch break, Hui Ching-jia would always hide between the rows of bookshelves in the library, or in a place where no one walked by the stairs behind the library.

At that time, her friends and classmates who knew her well knew that Xu Jingjia would always need to hide every once in a while, and she always needed more private space than others.

Only when she is alone can Xu Jingjia truly feel safe.

In the aisle at the corner of the entrance of the computer room, Xu Jingjia chose a computer nearby. Hui Jingjia skillfully entered the student number and password to log in to the account she was familiar with, and clicked and printed the notes that will be used in each subject one by one.

When Xu Jingjia walked to the printer of her choice, she found that Fion was already standing there.

Xu Jingjia was stunned for a moment, and greeted Fion with a smile, "Huh! Do you want to print your notes too? Why didn't you just ask me to wait for you?"

Fion smiled heartily and replied, "I just remembered that I had something to print," and Fion took out a stack ......of printed notes from the printer's output and walked to the side to look through them.

Hui Jingjia then approached the printer and checked the scheduled printing work under her student number on the printer's display screen, but the printer showed that three of the five scheduled printing jobs had been completed.

After a while, the remaining two notes had been printed, and Xu Jingjia was wondering if Fion had taken his notes by mistake. Fion had already handed Xu Jingjia three notes that had been sorted and stapled.

Subsequently, before Xu Jingjia could react, Fion took the two notes in Xu Jingjia's hand, carefully flipped through them one by one, checked the order and pinned them.

Because of Fion's intimacy, the smile on Xu Jingjia's face that she had worked hard to build became sincere. Looking at Fion, who was empty-handed, Xu Jingjia couldn't help asking, "What about yours?"

"I just remembered that I didn't seem to have a folder with me, and I was afraid that it would crumple, so I canceled the printing work." Fion replied casually.

The two went back to the aisle where Xu Jingjia logged in, but Xu Jingjia saw Zita sitting in his place and operating the computer.

Xu Jingjia was puzzled that she had locked the computer before she went to retrieve the notes, but seeing that Zita was browsing the notebook files temporarily stored on the desktop, Xu Jingjia suddenly became unsure.

After all, there's no way Zita knows her password, right? */

Zita smiled sweetly at Xu Jingjia and asked, "Ah E, what are you thinking?" Is there anything we can't see?

If it's above board, there's nothing that can't be seen, right?"

Looking at Zita's sweet and gentle smile, Xu Jingjia felt as if something was wrong, but she couldn't say why. Since then, when Xu Jingjia printed the notes, the two never let Xu Jingjia leave an order.

Zita is a perfectionist at work, and the good thing is that she doesn't leave things out of the group's report, and the good thing is that Zita's work attitude makes you feel like you never see the end of the work.

Compared to the group leader or team members of the same group, Zita's work attitude is more like a strict boss. Xu Jingjia spent a weekend coding the homepage, using the same theme as the previously agreed cartoon theme.

After being revised at two o'clock in the morning the day before, Zita confirmed that there was no problem, but the next day Zita felt that the realistic style was better, and reversed Xu Jingjia's efforts throughout the weekend.

However, after seeing the results of the work, Xu Jingjia felt that Zita's persistence might really be right, because the final product was indeed more eye-catching than the original.

However, Zita's way of working has made Mia and Nina quite complaining, and even Fion, who has always been good friends with Zita, has become dissatisfied with Zita.

As the deadlines for the submission of assignments and group reports approached, Hui's expectations for the Bridge Club meeting on Thursdays were always disappointed.

As the time of the meeting approached, the group's report always added a bit of a twist and turn, and afterwards Fion, Zita, Mia, and Nina would exchange a smile that they thought was the only one they understood. Xu Jingjia knew that they must have noticed something, and deliberately wanted to see how anxious she looked.

Although Xu Jingjia was also disappointed, she also understood that not going to the bridge society's party would indeed make her work time more abundant.

Over time, Xu Jingjia's expectations for the bridge club have faded a lot.

After receiving Ian's dating notice, Xu Jingjia looked at Mia and Ian's consistent and tacit smiles, and said that it was a lie that there was no disappointment. After Xu Jingjia saw the time when the photo was taken, she couldn't help but think that someone who looked so honest would do it under his girlfriend's nose.

Fortunately, with Zita and them, Xu Jingjia didn't fall too deep.

Because of the variety of associate degree life, Xu Jingjia's disappointment did not last long. Because in addition to schoolwork, the next career-oriented plan and boxing course will make Xu Jingjia's free time more fulfilling.

Hui Ching-ka's original intention in choosing this associate degree programme was purely because it was the only subject that had a background in mathematics and had nothing to do with physics. In other words, when taking this subject, Xu Jingjia did not consider the issue of employment at all. Therefore, when Hui Jingjia saw the advertisement for a career-oriented programme in the lift, she felt that she might want to participate in it.

Xu Jingjia, who is accustomed to being alone, does not feel the need to discuss this matter with others. Therefore, when they met Zita, who was assigned to the same group for an interview on the day of the interview, they were very surprised.

Naturally, after passing the interview, Xu Jingjia and Zita met together for a briefing session on the program.

This is the first time Xu Jingjia and Zita have acted alone.

The briefing session was held in a lecture hall in Block J of the University Headquarters, and the two of them sat together in the middle row of the lecture hall. The air conditioning in the lecture hall was very large, and the back of Xu Jingjia's head ached.

Zita looked at Xu Jingjia's brows and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"

"No, maybe the air conditioner here is a little bigger." Xu Jingjia replied.

"Do you usually have headaches?" Zita asked again.

"Even when you're nervous and stressed." Xu Jingjia paused for a moment, and then joked, "I don't know if it will be related to genetics, because my uncle is like this."

The two chatted with each other, perhaps because of the headache, Zita's smile made Xu Jingjia feel different than usual.
