CHAPTER XXI

"Why hasn't there been any movement, is something wrong?"

Zach crouched on the edge of the roof, seemingly calm on the surface. In fact, he was also nervous in his heart, and he began to beat the drum in his heart.

Just as Zach was distracted, a red light suddenly rose on the street a hundred meters away, and this red light was the signal flare that Henry fired.

A few seconds later, there was another cacophony in the distance. The zombies on the bottom of the building immediately rushed to the source of the sound when they heard the sound, and it didn't take long for there to be few zombies on the street......

"It's finally here!"

Zach was ecstatic, and he knew it was a signal from Henry. So he hurriedly beckoned the rest of the group to get ready, after all, the opportunity must not be lost and will not come again.

Zach had tied a rope around his waist beforehand, intending to go down the rope from the roof of the apartment building. The apartment is only two floors, and Zack's skills are no problem at all.

He had stood up by this time and tightened the rope again. Then ask Andre to check the other end of the rope again to make sure that the fixed rope is not loose.

When André heard this, he was about to check it out, but was stopped by Hank. Hank said he could do it for him, and Andre didn't think much of it, so he let him go.

"I'm going to go down, you cover me!"

Zach carried the spear he made on his back and the dagger in his mouth. Then I observed the situation at the bottom of the building, and after confirming that it was relatively safe, I quickly climbed down.

Andre and the others watched Zack nervously from the top of the building, and the two students with pistols in their hands also opened the safety of their pistols, ready to shoot at any time.

For the sake of safety, Zach only took a few steps to descend from the distance of the two floors.

As soon as he landed, a zombie pounced. Fortunately, Zach reacted quickly enough to plunge a dagger into its eye socket. The zombie fell to the ground in response, and he hurriedly drew the dagger, and then ran to the opposite side without a moment's delay.

The people watching from the top of the building also sweated for Zack, for fear that something would happen to him.

I have to say that Zack's skills are still okay. I saw him dodging left and right, dodging several zombie attacks. During this time, he also plunged a spear into the head of a zombie, but unfortunately he couldn't pull the spear out this time.

Zach had no choice but to abandon the spear, no longer intending to continue killing zombies, but ran towards the opposite shop as best he could.

Three minutes later, Zach finally arrived at the weapons shop. But the door was locked, which made Zach very bad.

He looked left and right and saw several zombies walking towards him. In a hurry, he didn't care about anything else and kicked it.

The door to the weapons shop was locked, but it wasn't as strong.

Zach kicked three or four times in a row before kicking the door open. He was about to push the door open and enter the shop when a gunshot rang out behind him.

Zach clutched his head in his hands in fear, and when he looked back, it turned out to be one of his classmates on the roof who had shot him and killed a zombie who was about to bite him.

He gave a thumbs up in the direction of the roof of the building as a sign of gratitude. Then push the door in, and after entering, pull through a cabinet to block the door to prevent yourself from being attacked by zombies.

When he came to the inside of the weapons shop, Zach didn't collect guns and ammunition at first, but was looking around for something.

What is Zach looking for? Of course, it's the knife that I like.

He searched every counter carefully for fear of missing something. But after searching for a long time and not finding it, he felt a little frustrated. However, Zach stumbles upon a small room that looks like his boss's office.

Zach carefully unscrewed the doorknob and opened the door through a crack. Looking inside through the gap, he was afraid that a zombie would suddenly come out and bite him.

But this time Zach was a little too worried, and there were no zombies in the office. When he closed it, he locked it. Then I started looking for it.

Luckily, Zach found his boss's treasured knife in a drawer of his desk.

This is a ***, the length is not long or short, it is very easy to use, and more importantly, the knife itself is very sharp.

"I've found you!"

Zach held the knife in his palm and kissed it excitedly. Then he slowly pulled the knife out and swung it into the air a few times.

Rejoicing, Zach put the knife back into its scabbard. And pinned it to his waist, and found a tote bag from another drawer.

Ready for everything, Zach leaned on the door and listened for a while. After confirming that there was no movement, he pushed the door open and went out. This time he's going to get down to business, collecting guns.

Arriving at the counter, he loaded several guns into his handbag. Basically, it's all pistols, and the long gun has only one shot. Then I stuffed several boxes of bullets.

Zach had planned to load a few more guns, but the zombies outside the door once gathered, and these zombies may have been attracted by the noise he made.

He gave up and zipped up his handbag. Then he began to look for a path to the top of the building, and his teachers and classmates were still waiting for him.

But to his despair, there was no road to the top of the building, and there was not even a back door.

“FUCK!”

Zach scolded in a low voice, and the person didn't get out of it, but he took himself on the hook.

To make matters worse, the cabinet blocking the door also seems to be reaching its limit. At this time, Zack was like an ant on a hot pot, and he was in a hurry. Suddenly it occurred to him that there seemed to be a window in the office from which he could go out.

Having made up his mind, Zach once returned to the office. He couldn't reach the window, so he moved his desk under the window, and Zach stepped on the table to see what was happening outside the window.

It was pitch black outside the window, and nothing could be seen. Zach could only take out a small flashlight and shine it outward. Through the light of the flashlight, he didn't see the zombies.

"Boom!"

There was a noise outside the office, followed by the unique roar of zombies.

"Looks like we have to give it a try!"

Zach didn't want to go through the window, but now there was no other choice.

He broke the glass and climbed out of the window. Although he climbed out, he did not hit the ground. Instead, he stood on the window frame, intending to climb straight up to the roof.

After some effort, Zach managed to reach the roof of the weapons shop. He slumped on the ground, gasping for air.

After a minute of rest, he got back to his feet. Walk to the edge of the roof and look out at the rooftop of the apartment building opposite.

It was dark and it was raining heavily, so visibility was extremely low. So Zach can only use the faint light of the flashlight to signal to the opposite side, and the other side also uses the flashlight to signal to him.

"Throw the rope over here!"

Zach shouted loudly to the other side, indicating that he was ready to take the rope.

Andrei put down the flashlight and picked up the rope on the ground. Hurling it towards where Zach was, waiting for his response.

The rope on the ground was quickly pulled away, and Andre understood that Zach had already received the rope.

"Quick! Let's climb to the opposite side one by one! ”

Andre tugged on the rope and beckoned the students to climb the rope after making sure it was safe...
