NDB is the abbreviation of Non-Directional Beacon, which means non-directional beacon in Chinese. Xu Qing heard a friend who learned to fly in China say that practicing non-precision approach in China is a lot of NDB approach, and a lot of formulas are derived.
Originally, the company's simulator modified non-precision approach would also practice NDB approach, but later the domestic NDB was gradually eliminated, and there was no NDB in the airport operated by Blue Sky Airlines, so it was not practiced later.
Somewhat similar to it is a method called circling approach, not to mention Blue Sky Airways, and its subordinate groups do not operate circling approaches, so although there is a word for circling approach in the simulator course, the instructor will not mention it.

In the past, non-precision approaches were descended to the MDA after the FAF, and then leveled, and if no visual reference was established, it was necessary to fly all the way to the go-around point before it could be go-around.
CDFA, on the other hand, descends continuously after the FAF without level flight until it reaches a minimum of 50 feet or a flattening point.
Of course, this technology has its own advantages, otherwise it would not be promoted throughout civil aviation. For example, it can improve the pilot's situational awareness, reduce the workload, and make it easier for the pilot to obtain visual reference for the aircraft attitude.
There must be advantages, that is, Xu Qing wants to re-learn, and he feels that it is very troublesome.
First of all, in the final decline stage, the decline rate needs to be calculated. In general, the rate of decline is mostly related to the rate of follow-up near velocity and the descent gradient.
The approach speed is not necessarily, but it is generally in a certain range. The descent gradient is mostly 5.2%, and some will be slightly steeper, as can be seen from the approach chart.
After the FAF, an altitude will be marked for each nautical mile, and the pilot will have to adjust his descent rate through this standard altitude, which is where Xu Qing finds troublesome.
Before the FAF, you need to estimate an initial descent rate yourself, start pushing the descent rate at the first 0.2 knots of the FAF, and then adjust the descent rate according to the difference in altitude as described above.
It's not that the program is not very complicated, but it is a bit troublesome to learn new things.
