For example, the current speed of the car is 60, and the sensor has measured the speed, but how to tell this information to the industrial computer? Everyone is a machine, and no one can speak.
Therefore, CAN technology is needed to solve the problem of information path between machines.
The third challenge is global positioning technology and inertial measurement units.
Global positioning technology is not difficult to solve, Huaxia has a Beidou system, if it is combined with the North American GPS system, it can form a dual positioning channel to obtain accurate vehicle positioning information.
But the inertial measurement unit, which is referred to as the IMU, is more difficult.
With global positioning and IMUs, it is possible to know where the vehicle is and which direction it is driving, and the IMU can also provide richer information such as yaw velocity, angular acceleration, etc., which can help with the positioning and decision-making control of autonomous vehicles.
The fourth challenge is sensors.
In today's autonomous vehicles, three major sensing systems are needed at the same time, namely vision sensors, laser sensors, and radar sensors.
Vision sensors are binocular cameras that provide stereo vision perception, which will be used not only in autonomous driving technology, but also in future robotics technology.
Industrial binocular perception cameras and mobile phone cameras are not the same thing, and the biggest player in this field is Xingchen Technology's subsidiary, Xingchen Optics.
After years of expansion and development, Xingchen Optics is no longer a small factory that can only build cameras, but a large-scale complex with sensing, remote sensing, laser, astronomical optics, medical optics, optical software, and many other fronts.
