Chapter 854: The Real Enemy!

After a brief introduction to the origins of the 7th arrondissement, Tom Banacek went straight to the point.

"You may remember NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory losing the Hound II robot on Mars."

"We told them that the whole mission had failed, but it wasn't, and Hound 2 transmitted thirteen seconds of footage."

"This is more classified information than top secret."

As he spoke, Tom Banacek turned the laptop in front of him to John Keller and pressed play.

John Keller's attention was immediately on the screen.

The whole video is only thirteen seconds, and the front has been normal, just some images of the surface of Mars captured by the probe robot, but in the last few seconds, a shadow similar to a human form suddenly appeared on the ground.

Immediately afterward, the probe robot appears to be attacked, and the screen begins to shake, and at the end of the video, a tall steel figure flashes by.

Then the picture is plunged into darkness.

After watching this short thirteen-second video, John Keller's expression became more solemn.

Tom Banacek looked at him and said slowly.

"Mars isn't just rocks."

Later, Tom Banachek took out a few more photos and handed them to John Keller one by one.

"This is an image from Mars, this is an image taken by your special forces when the base was attacked, and we believe it is the same exoskeleton structure."

"Obviously, that's not something that other countries can have."

Both photos are a little blurry, but the overall outline can be seen clearly, and John Keller looks at the exoskeleton structure in both photos that clearly surpasses the current era of robotics, and agrees with Tom Banacek's statement.

"You mean an alien invasion?"

John Keller said and looked at Tom Bannaček, but he couldn't help but think of the female analyst who had been arrested, and she had previously suggested to him that their enemies were most likely alien lifeforms.

Tom Banacek nodded, took out another picture from his suitcase, and put it in front of John Keller again.

"Just this evening, we found a giant robot wreckage outside Los Angeles, and after comparative analysis, we believe that this wreckage is the same existence as the first two photos, a strange alien mechanical lifeform!"

This photo is completely different from the previous two, it was taken with a high-definition camera, and every detail is clear.

Although the wreckage was badly damaged, many of the structures inside were exposed.

As Secretary of Defense, John Keller is also well-informed, and it is clear that these complex structures are by no means capable of being created by current Earth technology.

If the previous two photos only made him suspicious, now, he can already conclude the existence of extraterrestrial creatures!

And this also corresponds to the powerful giant scorpion robot they photographed when they rescued Captain William Reynolds and his surviving team.

It turns out that their enemy is not a hostile country at all, but an alien mechanical lifeform!

Just when John Keller's face was full of shock, he heard Tom Banachek continue with a serious face.

"We intercepted the messages from the special forces from the previous ones, and those things knew that they could also be hurt by our weapons, so they used the virus to paralyze the military command system so that we could not organize our forces to prepare for their next attack!"

Tom Bannaček was referring to Captain William Reynolds' discovery that high-temperature armor-piercing shells could wreak havoc on the armor of Transformers, and the Decepticons also discovered this, which made them feel threatened, so they used the virus planted before Confusion to paralyze all the networks, making it impossible for human armies to mobilize and command, and there was no way to stop their actions!

Looking at John Keller with a solemn face, Tom Banacek said his judgment in a deep voice.

"I'm willing to bet with my government salary that the next wave of attacks will definitely come soon!"

John Keller first digested the vast amount of information he had just gotten into, and although much of it was unbelievable, he only analyzed it in his mind, and even agreed with Tom Banacek's statement.

This group of aliens attacked and invaded the Sankesen base and Air Force One successively, obviously not well, and now they have paralyzed the army's command system, and the next step, there will inevitably be a new operation.

The current situation is very unfavorable for them, and the whole country is almost completely defenseless in front of the enemy!

They must prepare as soon as possible for the impending alien invasion!

Realizing the seriousness of the problem, John Keller strode out of the conference room and eagerly explained to the officers who gathered around the door.

"Use the National Guard's channel to inform the fleet commander that it was a short wave, and it may still work, tell them to jump the bow of the ship and rush back quickly!"

"Inform the commands and resist the impending attack!"

……

Nellis Air Force Base

Captain William Reynolds and his squad had just gotten off the plane when several black SUVs with flashing police lights suddenly drove straight into the airport and stopped next to the military transport plane.

A lean man in a black suit quickly got out of the car, looked at William Reynolds and the others who were about to leave, and quickly stopped them.

"Captain Reynolds!"

The man in the suit shouted as he ran over quickly.

"Please bring your troops with us!"

……

Pentagon, a certain interrogation room.

Maggie Madson and Glenn Whitman were asleep on a chair and a table.

No matter how worried they were, in the second half of the night, they still couldn't hold on and fell asleep.

However, just when the two were sleeping in a daze, the door of the interrogation room was suddenly pushed open, and the two who were not sleeping deeply quickly woke up, only to see an FBI push the door and walk in.

"She's here!"

Maggie Madson asked, unexplained.

"What's going on?"

However, the FBI agent ignored him and stood to the side, and then, accompanied by two agents in black suits, John Keller strode in.

"You come with me!"

Maggie Madson turned her head when she heard this, and then she saw that it was Secretary of Defense John Keller!

"From now on, you are my advisor!"

After John Keller finished speaking, Maggie Madsen hadn't reacted, but Glenn Whitman on the side was the first to ask.

"Am I going too?"
